1 Chapter 1: Unexpected Encounter

Peacefully immersed in his slumber, Christopher was abruptly startled by the shrill sound of an alarm bell ringing. The jarring noise jolted him awake, compelling him to swiftly reach out and bang his hand on the left bedside drawer to silence this disturbance.

The silver alarm clock finally ceased its noise, having fulfilled its purpose. Christopher gradually opened his eyes, allowing his surroundings to come into focus, feeling the never-ending drowsiness clinging to him.

He slowly sat up straight, taking his sweet time, and casually stretched his arms, resulting in a satisfying stretch. As he gradually awakened, he opened his eyes wide, taking in his new surroundings. He was still vividly surprised by how his surroundings had become much bigger.

The reason Christopher's current bedroom felt unfamiliar wasn't due to a recent shifting of houses. It was something far more extraordinary. By a twist of fate, Christopher had time-traveled into a parallel universe, into an alternate version of himself.

He perceived his surroundings as larger because, unlike his original self, the Christopher of this world was far from being a 21-year-old man. Instead, he found himself transformed into a small, eight-year-old kid.

However, he wasn't just an ordinary kid but exceptionally gifted and intelligent. At the incredibly tender age of eight, he had accomplished the remarkable feat of becoming a high school freshman. And not only was he intellectually advanced, but he also possessed a charming handsomeness that belied his young age.

Christopher discovered this extraordinary reality during his first day at Medford High School for secondary education. To his astonishment, he realized that he was attending the same school where a renowned genius with a brilliant mind but a complete lack of emotional intelligence, Sheldon, had completed his schooling. The coincidence only added to the intrigue and uniqueness of Christopher's situation.

As Christopher stood outside the school's main entrance, his eyes fixed on the words "Medford High School," a wave of anxiety washed over him. In his mind, he couldn't help but a desperate prayer to the heavens, "Oh, please, please, dear God," he pleaded with a hint of desperation.

"I promise I will not be lazy, clean my room every day, and even learn to play the piano if you just grant me this one favor. Please, oh please, let Sheldon have completed his schooling and move on. Spare me from encountering that psychopath, and I swear I'll be eternally grateful!"

After his prayer, Christopher realized he had no other option but to gather his courage and confront whatever awaited him. Inhaling deeply, he summoned his resolve and determination, ascending the stairs toward the main entrance.

Soon, he stood before the doors, hearing the bustling sounds of the hallways beyond. With a determined push, Christopher opened the doors. He crossed the threshold, officially immersing himself in the vibrant world of Medford High School.

As he walked in nervously, he discreetly scanned the faces of his fellow students he came across, silently hoping to avoid any encounters with the notorious Sheldon. Maneuvering through the corridors, Christopher couldn't help but release a sigh of relief as no one he encountered remotely resembled the psychopathic genius he knew. Perhaps, just maybe, fate was merciful as it was his very first day in this remarkable school and universe.

Despite his preoccupation with Sheldon, Christopher had no concerns about drawing unusual attention due to his young age. Having experienced an early growth spurt, he already stood at an impressive height of five feet tall.

However, as he navigated through the school hallways, Christopher couldn't help but notice the curious glances and lingering gazes directed his way. It became apparent that his appearance possessed a magnetic quality, effortlessly capturing the interest of those around him.

Christopher effortlessly stood out in the crowd with his light-brown hair and captivating green eyes. Their unique hue, reminiscent of precious emeralds, possessed an exquisite quality that seemed to mesmerize onlookers, especially the girls.

Unintentionally, Christopher's remarkable eyes had become a source of fascination, drawing attention and sparking curiosity about the boy with their captivating gaze. His distinctive appearance had unknowingly become alluring, leaving others intrigued and wondering about the story behind those gorgeous green eyes.

Unaccustomed to such attention since his original self-had no standout features, Christopher felt a wave of nervousness wash over him. His face, previously unremarkable, lacked the uniqueness that now seemed to captivate onlookers. Despite the increasing number of stares, he managed to maintain his composure, staying silent as he made his way toward his first class.

As Christopher entered the classroom, his eyes fell upon a figure that sent shivers down his spine. Sitting before him was someone to be feared—a person known for their ruthlessness, constant bickering, and utter lack of common sense. It was none other than Sheldon, the person Christopher had desperately hoped to avoid encountering.

However, despite the surge of fear, Christopher maintained his composure and acted normal. He strategically chose the farthest seat available, nestled in the far-left corner, hoping it would shield him from direct interactions with Sheldon.

With relief, Christopher approached the coveted seat, believing he had successfully eluded any potential mishaps that might force him into an awkward conversation. Yet, fate had other plans, brewing mischief just around the corner.

As Christopher cautiously approached the seat, an unnoticed banana peel proved his downfall. With an unfortunate slip, he was launched into the air, his trajectory ending in an unplanned crash directly into Sheldon's desk.

The classroom fell into an awkward silence, all eyes fixed upon the unexpected collision. Christopher mustered a feeble attempt at humor from the floor, muttering, "Uh, hi there... Sheldon. It looks like we're having a crashing good time today, huh?" The absurdity of the situation hung in the air, leaving Christopher and Sheldon momentarily speechless.

As Christopher lay on the floor, Sheldon's initial reaction was to scowl and unleash a string of sarcastic remarks, questioning Christopher's ability to navigate the classroom without causing chaos.

However, to Christopher's surprise, Sheldon's scowl quickly transformed into a mischievous grin as he recognized the situation's absurdity. Their collision catalyzed an unusual camaraderie, with Sheldon teasingly proclaiming himself the victor of their unexpected encounter.
