Knight in green scrubs

Ella's heart did a little dance as she thought 'he came! Xavier came'. She was thrilled. Alice looked between the two people; she hadn't even left the premises, but she knew she was safe. The three men turned to the direction in which the voice came from. Although Xavier exuded a killing intent, these men did not take him seriously.

Laughter echoed through the empty building broken "and what are you going to do little nurse?" Asked one man. Xavier looked at all three as he assessed their them. "Disable and throw you in jail for the rest of your pathetic lives of course!" He smiled a chilling smile. Another round of laughter filled the building "is that right?" Asked another man. "And how will you little nurse do that? Nurse us to ill health?" The three men cried in fits of laughter. The whole time they had missed the 6 men who had surrounded the dilapidated building.

'My knight in green scrubs' internally sighed Ella with a dreamy look on her face. Alice did not miss the movements and she too begun to relax. No one has ever protected Alice, she didn't know what this warm and fuzzy feeling she had inside was just that she liked it.

"So, how do you want to do this?" Asked Xavier. "I mean you can either walk out of here without the girls and lead a long healthy life" he followed. 'all the way to the gate' thought Xavier. "Or, I can disable each of you here and now and I walk away with the girls, bring down your entire boss' empire" he stated.

The orange haired man changed his stance "or we could kill you here and now and still leave with the girls. Who the fuck do you think you are kid. Walking in here disrupting our business. Do you know who our boss is?" He asked.

Laughter was heard coming through from behind the girls as a man walked up. This man was about 6'3 with godly features & he exuded power, death and absolute resolution. This man resembled the one in scrubs, but he was in a general's attire. "You ..." he pointed at the three men "... think you can kill my brother and walk out of here with his fiancé? I'm curious, what drugs did you all smoke this morning?" Laughed Xander. He walked up to Ella and enveloped her in a hug "hey sis, so glad to have you back" he winked.

Ella punched Xander arm "oh, so you still know I'm your sister." She pouted. The three men seem to finally notice that they were in a predicament, but no one paid them mind. Ella turned to Alice, gently tugging her hand. "This is my best friend, Alice. Alice this is Xavier's twin, General Xander McCann" she introduced both Xander and Alice stood staring at each other. 'Could it be? But, how?' thought Xander. Alice just looked at the man in front her and just nodded 'of course he's related to Xavier, wow! I wonder if the gods sprinkled their genes when making these two creatures' she thought. Xavier finally made his way to them "get your filthy paws of my wife" he told his brother.

Xander coughed and nodded at his Alice. He turned to the men and said "so, you were saying?" One of the men with the brown hair felt his spine grow cold. He recalled how this man ran his team. It is said he has never lost a man in any mission. He recalled the year he left the army; this man had infiltrated one of toughest pirate gang in the Coast of Country F, M and A, not only did he come out unscathed, but he shut down the entire operation with just four out his 20 men team within a record time. He finally worked up the nerve and asked, "you're General McCann?". Xander nodded. "Theee General McCann?" the looked in his eyes filled with disbelief as reality set in. 'They tell stories about this man's missions.He is legendary within the peacekeepers.' thought the man. "In a flesh!" replied Xavier with the cheekiest grin on his face.

The three men turned to leave when suddenly "oh, you had your chance to leave. Since you wouldn't let us go, why should we let you go?" they heard a girl's voice. Ella was smiling ever so sweetly. She was tucked under Xavier's arm. Alice though she felt safe, she was still processing the way Xander had looked at her. 'Why does he look at me as if we've met? Oh god what did my father do this time?' She thought.

"Who do you work for? And why did you kidnap my sister-in-law?" Asked Xander. No answer came. Xander looked up and five men came towards them. He looked at one and instructed "Make sure my sister-in-law gets home safely along with her friend. If anything happens to them, you can forget about joining my squad" the man nodded and made a gesture for the girls to follow him. It is known that all men who'd left General McCann's squad had gone to do bigger and greater things. Xander joined the army when he was 13 years old and by 18 years old, he had worked his way to being a commander. Ella did not want to go and looked and Xavier pleading. Xavier patted her head and said "you need to be safe in order for me to remain sane. I'll come over once I'm done, ok!"

Ella pouted and said "but we already know who they work for and what they wanted!" Both Xander and Xavier looked at the two women in disbelief. Alice hung her head in shame and replied in a small voice "I'm really sorry Xavier, I didn't mean to drag Ella into this. I just wanted to thank her. I didn't think she would come in person. They are not after her but me so you guys can go. Please take her home." Both men looked at each other and looked back the woman who'd just spoken.

"That's right, we don't even know your sister in-law" echoed the man with orange hair. It seemed he had not grasped the gravity of the situation as he spoke anyhow. The former soldier was sweating buckets as he thought to himself 'this fucking idiot will get us killed' he knew they'd fucked up. 'I should've just packed the both of them and taken them to boss instead of bantering with them' thought the orange haired man. 'Now look at the mess this little bitch has made. That's more bodies to clean up. Even if we get out of here the boss will kill me'.

Xavier laughed out loud "oh but you already threatened to hurt her. No one threatens my wife and gets away with it." he said. Everyone felt the gravity of his words.

The other brown haired man attempted to leap for Alice "you little bitch, this is all your fault. Your father already gave up on you. Why did you have to bring us trouble. I'll kill your whole damn family" he shouted but was restrained by one of Xander's men.

"What are they talking about?" Asked Xander with a glint of coldness in his eye. Alice knew there was no turning back. She didn't know whether to laugh or cry. "My father sold me to Malik to be a prostitute because he lost millions of dollars in gambling." She stated matter factly as if she was listing baking ingredients.

A chill ran down the twins spine. Xavier stance changed into an absolute killing machine. He no longer looked at Ella and directed one man "you heard my brother, take the girls home and if anything happens to either one of them, don't bother showing your face around here."

Alice looked up at Xavier, gratitude washed over her face, she tugged at Ella's hand and nodded. Ella was reluctant Xander and Xavier looked at the three men and did not look at her. She knew there was no staying. She stood on her toes and gave her fiancé a peck on the cheek and followed Alice. "Be safe" he heard her say.

Ella and Alice looked at the three men and poked their tongues out. "Please tell my father, he is dead to me!" Said Alice as she walked off holding hands with Ella and waved at the men.

The last thing the girl's heard was Xander's commanding voice "load them up boys!"
