New Friends

So there. I left the only family I've known. I can't have them in my mess. I know there are more witches out there, where? I don't know. But, I will find them. That will be part of my mission. Another mission is finding another home, and some food.

Dionis: *stomach growls* Yeahhh... let's stop here *looks around* looks like a good spot

I stopped not far from the house but far enough for them to not see me. I was near a river and there was a cave nearby. Midnight hit and I set up camp. I went to the river with a bag and waited

Dionis: *examines the river* Ok... grabs a fish tossing it in the bag* One more...

River Creature: *leaps out tackling him into tree snarling at him*

Dionis: Ugh... *looks up and rolls out of way dodging a tree* Throwing trees huh?

River Creature: *dives back into river*

Dionis: Oh no, we're gonna finish this... *sets up a trap near river* little... *waits for a fish*

River Creature: *lunges at him*

Dionis: *activates rope trap and burns it to ashes* My g- *sits down and pants*

Three Hours Later -

Orin: In here quick...

Rosa: *hides with him in log*

Troll: *sniffs and looks around*

Dionis: *wakes up and yawns* Heavy footsteps what the hell. *leaves cave and looks up* Oh, you. Can you keep it down or, go somewhere else it's past my bedtime.

Troll: *throws rock at him*

Dionis: *rolls away and groans* Ughhh I just want to sleep is that too much to ask? *turns into dragon*

Troll: Dragon?!

Dionis: Yeah hi *flies above it*

Troll: *grabs his wings and flings him away*

Dionis: *tumbles in air before catching self* Whew... dizzy ok ok let's do this, you took down the river creature no problem, let's do this.

Troll: *reaches down to log*

Rosa: *hugs Orin*

Dionis: *stabs Troll through head with the end of his spiked tail*

Orin: *looks up and moves away with Rosa*

Dionis: Ooh that was way quicker. *looks down at Orin and Rosa* Oh hey you two *sees wings* Ooh fairies

Rosa: Brave kid.

Dionis: I'm seventeen.

Rosa: *gets her bluish color back in her wings* Oh?! *flies around happily*

Orin: *gets his orange color back in his wings* Yes! *laughs and hugs Rosa* Oh thank you young dragon.

They bow to him -

Orin: We are in your debt

Dionis: It's all good guys. No need to bow or anything.

Rosa: But we must.

Dionis: *tilts head*

Rosa: You saved us from that Troll who was our owner. Now we help you.

Dionis: *chuckles* Trust me I'm good, you two can go on and live your life. Just stay away from trolls and all the other things out there.

Orin: Sorry bud not how it works. You're stuck with us.

Dionis: *looks at them* Really? I can't set you free?

Rosa: *shakes her head*

Dionis: Oh well. Nice to meet you two, I'm Dionis

Orin: Orin, and this is my wife Rosa *notices scales*

Dionis: Yes I am a dragon. Where am I from? I have no idea. *notices Orin's broken wing* I wish your wing was fixed

Rosa: *waves wand with Orin as his wing is fixed*

Orin: Oh I like this kid. You're not bad Dionis. Where you from?

Dionis: Harbinger. I was raised with humans.

Rosa: Humans?

Orin: Yeah. I don't know my real parents. I was dropped off at their house and I've been there ever since. I was the oldest. Then two daughters Aliss after me then a few years later Jane. No trace of my dragon family anywhere. Never tried looking. Few hours ago was the first time I ever transformed into my true dragon form.

Orin: Whoa... sorry kid. If anything... we'll help you find them.

Dionis: Thanks Orin... I'll um... see you two in a few hours then we can leave and find a new place. I don't really want to be surrounded by trouble. I want a nice, secluded area where I can just rest. No obstacles or enemies.

Orin and Rosa: *wave their wands and poof the place up*

Dionis: *walks back into cave and lays back down*
