159 A kiss

"Ren…"

A gentle word rang out as Momo looked with her beautiful Onyx watery eyes at Ren.

At this moment her happiness and excitedness were unable to be hidden.

She wasn't as flustered as before, as she could feel Ren didn't mean her any harm and wasn't harboring any sexual feelings for her at that moment.

She was very capable of reading emotions in the eyes of people, and Ren's eyes were clear, so she was able to know that he was really speaking for her because he cared.

A sweet smile graced her face, and she used her hand to push her hair behind her ear.

"I would love to,"

Her words were filled with anticipation and a hint of longing.

Ren smiled back.

He then thought it was time to go so he said.

"Well, it's getting late, so I'll be leaving now,"

He tried releasing her hand but she didn't let go.

He raised an eyebrow and locked eyes with her again.

But at that moment he saw that she was furrowing her brows.

"Aren't men supposed to be aggressive and go for a kiss at this moment?"

When he heard what she said he was stunned.

Momo's thinking came from all the movies, and books she had read.

The atmosphere was good, their emotional state was good, the setting was good, the place was perfect… then why wasn't Ren doing anything yet?

She was aware that he was very aggressive too, first from his own mouth. As during the date, he came clean with his state with many girls.

Of course, in return, he didn't make any move on her and left the choice for her.

He didn't go for a deep kiss, however, and let go shortly after.

It was enough for a greenhorn like her at this moment.

He then released the close hug and stepped back before going down the short walkway near her gate.

Momo opened her eyes and there were many emotions in her eyes.

Anticipation, happiness, excitement, and finally reluctance and slight blame.

She wanted him to continue, but Ren had stopped.

She saw how he entered his car, and then locked eyes with her before he started driving as he waved his hands at her.

She saw him mouth the words 'Be patient' and she chuckled.

"Idiot… I was testing you,"

She wasn't about to invite him in for 'That' as she thought it was too soon.

But she wanted to see if Ren would have actually accepted.

Of course, Ren couldn't read her mind, so at that moment he just saw that she was aroused and pretty ripe to harvest as they say, but he still chose to back down for now.

That can come later after they know each other better.

Different people call for different ways to act, and Momo was very innocent to him, so he didn't want to do this in a crude way.

It seemed like Ren had given her a very happy surprise, both with his choice and with the kiss.

"My first kiss,"

"You deserve it,"

She muttered with the same sweet silly smile and finally passed the gate and entered her house.

That was an earlier arrangement that they had, so he accepted with a happy smile.

Still, for now, that had to be shelved until the day they discussed which wasn't yet the time for.

At this time, he had some things to think about.

His mood was at its peak due to the fun time he had with Momo, so he couldn't help but lay down the plans for the current time.

First, there were the two remaining girls he knew that would also be going on dates with him.

Just like Momo, he was very excited about that.

And he had to plan each date to cater to the girl's preferences. He'll at least do that much for them.

Second, was his new powers.

While it showed a bit during the war, he had yet to fully train in them or explore them.

That was why he needed to make some plans to enter some gate and then work on that as fast as possible.
