1 Dying isn't that bad

Kori Pov Everything hurts, from my head to my ankles, I can feel myself slowly losing drifting into a state of unconsciousness. Damnit.. Should've just stayed inside today, but no, 'Get some sunlight, touch the grass. Can't stay in your room all day.' Thanks dad.. 3rd Pov (10 minutes earlier) A seventeen year old young man with slightly above average features had just left his house. He had short black hair, a fairly lean build, and had a nice height to him. Standing at 6'2. But what stood out the most were his beautiful golden eyes. "Get outta the house Kori, you're not gonna be young forever!" He says in a mocking tone before scoffing and throwing on his hood. He had put in his earphones, stuffed his hands in his pockets, and walked towards the local park. "Damnit mom. Why'd you have to leave me with him? He's way more strict than you." He sighed before turning a corner on a street that's been under construction recently. Kori simply kept his head down and kept walking, not wanting to make contact with anyone, until a woman's voice yelled "Get back here!" Kori looked up to see a woman in her mid 20s' with waist length black hair and a rather curvy figure chasing after something. Kori watched as the woman ran into the construction zone, but also kept walking. After all, it was none of his business. *Creeeaak* Kori looked up to see the lines holding up a ton of bricks snapping right over the woman. Now, a normal person would shout at her to move, or even keep walking. But Kori? Didn't do anything. 'God's just doing his job.' Kori sighed before pulling out his phone, prepared to call 911, until something caught his eye. A little black kitten in the woman's arms. Without hesitation, Kori jumped the gate and pushed the woman out of the way of the falling bricks. Ever since Kori was a child, he'd always loved cats. They'd always shared a special place in his heart, right next to his mother. He wouldn't forgive himself if he'd just let it die. Oh yeah and the person too. Guess that was cool. He could hear a muffled voice, along with the sound of something being thrown. 'No use.. I'll die under them no matter how hard she tries... and there's my body. Can't even move a finger..' Kori knew what this was. Death. He'd always been afraid of the thought of dying, but actually experiencing it was entirely different. "Bye dad.." And just like that, Kori had died. Kori Pov Dark. Nothing but darkness all around me. I can't tell left from right, up from down. I'm just, here. 'So this must be hell.' I think as I drift around the space. 'How long have I been here?' I think to myself. But slowly, a dim light grew in front of me, slowly getting brighter almost blinding me. I shielded my eyes from the light until I heard a voice from it. "Dude.. for a cat?" I looked at the light with squinting eyes as I made out a figure. The man radiated alpha energy. "Chuck Norris? You're God?" The man simply hunched his shoulders. "I took the form of the person you deemed to be your God. Now back to the topic.. a cat?" "Looking back on it, not my best moment." I chuckled nervously. "But I wouldn't change it." I stare up at Chuck Norris. "Hmm.." He looks down at me for what felt like an eternity. "The wheel." He finally says. "The wheel?" "The wheel." He snaps his fingers and some kinda jeopardy wheel appears in front of me. I quickly examine it. 'Anime and manga? Is this one of those reincarnation deals? "What're you waiting for Kori? Give it a spin!" I hesitantly spin the wheel, but I nearly immediately regret it. After a few nerve-wracking seconds, as the wheel slows down, it looks as if it's about the land on Berserk. 'Shit shit shit shit shit!' My heart is in my throat as I remember all the brutal and grizzly details of the manga. But after one more tick, it lands on Fairy Tail. I fall to my knees due to pure relief, as Chuck Norris finally says something. "Lucky you! I suppose you're familiar with this Anime correct?" Of course I am. There's so many 'power of friendship' memes around it. Besides, it's a pretty cool anime when it actually gets serious. "Yes sir. I know about this anime." My heart is going a thousand miles a minute. 'Is this what I think it is?!' "Well kid, I'm gonna give you another chance to live." 'it is!' "Now, it'll be boring to go there without any kind of power, so what-" "I wanna be a God!" I interrupted. It has always baffled me how weak some of the characters were. Natsu, one of the only Dragon Slayers left, still couldn't beat people with common magic. Hell, even Max almost beat him! It took all of them to beat Acnologia, along with plot. So I'm not taking any chances. He stood in thought for a bit. "Well, the only god available is that of the sun. The last sun god's head was ripped off by some pale guy." I fealt like jumping out of my skin! Not only am I gonna be reborn, but brought back as a God! Chuck could practically see the excitement on my face, making him chuckle a bit. "Now now, I've got to ask you a few things before you get all happy. First, Would you like to keep your memories? Second, What time period do you want to be sent to? And Third, Where?" 'Damnit.. Do I really want to remember my life? My Mom? She was the only good memories I had.. Not to even mention the advantages of reading to manga.' "Yes. I want to keep my memories. I want to be sent in a year before the main story, and around Hargeon.. preferably a forest." "Sorry kid. I'm gonna need some specific place to send you." I was afraid of this. I don't want to be sent to fairy tail right away, but I also need time to adjust and learn to control my power. And somewhere preferably secluded. I bet the power of a God is destructive.. After several minutes of thinking, I sighed and made up my mind. "So, where to?" I look up at him for a few seconds, before I give a quiet response. "Tenrou Island."
