This is the "Archives" for the in depth understanding on the world settings and characters information for the novel of A sudden Life In A New World. The series will be divided into 5 parts. It will begin with the world settings to the characters background and lastly, the monsters that inhabits the world of Elluvian.

[The world of Elluvian]

A world thats exist outside of the known universe. Much of it was unknown. This world of Elluvian was formed by an unknown being called the "Creator". But strangely, the world setting shared the same similarities with the game called Realivese that Riel had play when he was back on earth. This world was a world beyond understanding and had an active energy called mana. With mana, the people in this world can used superhuman abilities such as magic. Their everyday tools were also powered by mana. There were no fossil fuel or things similar to it in this world. Though some machinery such as fast moving train and airship, all of them were powered up with mana stone. The existence of gun powder and firearms were also exist in this world, but since its usage was deem inferior than magic abilities, it was not widely popular amongst the people of this world. And this world had a different common senses from that on earth. There were no male or female supremacy what so ever, they only admired the 'strong'. Polygamist were common in this world as well. And in some strange cases, siblings marriage to were common in this world, though it usually happens with Royalties and other high ranking Aristocrats, but it didn't had the effect that was on earth.

[the Kingdom Of Araeil]

[population: 1.7 millions]

The kingdom of Araeil, the setting of the first Volume and also the place where the game Realivese used as its background. Had the population of 1.7 mil. But most of the population were centered in the Capital city that was estimated abut 1 mil. This kingdom had a variety of races mixed in its citizens. But the majority of the populace was the humans, elfiens, dwarfiens, and ferliens. their subs races formed the minority of it. The capital city settings is similar to that of the Victorian Era, but the outskirts towns and villages seems more like a middle age period. Its territory span a third of the known continent, second only to the massive Ravatoil Empire its neighboring nation.

[Human]

A being that had the same structures of the peoples that lived on earth. Their race traits can be seen with their normal ears and had a lifespan about a hundred year. Excellent in melee combat and some rarer cases it the person was born with high magic affinity, can be called a saint or magi. They were also called the heavy 'breeder' in this world courtesy by the True Sage Vormorth.

[Elfien]

The race with longer ears then its human counterparts. Usually had a slender body and beautiful facial structures. Though some cases of them mingle with other races to produce offspring, their traits will change according to their spouses. having the lifespan of a thousand years making their races the most long lived then the rest of the other races. Excellent in spirit magic control, had a high affinity to magic. But in rare cases, those who didn't had a high affinity to magic, will develop specials skills such as combat mastery.

Pixie,

Had a tiny build like a child, even in their adult period. Had wings behind them insect like wings and can float around. Offspring from elfien and dwarfien.

[Dwarfien]

The races that had a small build. Their height were about two meters the tallest ever recorded. Most of them had the height around 1.5 meters tall. The male in their adult period would had a bushy hairs covering most of their faces with beards and hairs while the female will had the appearance of a teenage girl. Great in smithing, and likes heavy lifting jobs. Had the greatest strengths amongst all the races, good in combat but low magic affinity. Only a handful of them can use magic.

Gnome,

Smaller than a dwarfien build even In their adult period. Had the face of that of a human but with a strange facial features. Because of their facial features, they usually do shady business and shun themselves from the world out of fearing being oppressed by others. Offspring between human, or elfien.

[Ferlien]

The races that had the same build as human. The only differences is that they had animal ears and a tail. Around these parts, their hairs looks more like a furs. They are the most oppressed race in this world. With little magic affinity and low combat abilities, they usually treated as the most useless race anywhere in the world. Though some mixed races had more luck compare to their ancestors, they usually need time to develop in becoming a good warrior or at most, a novice magician.

Fox-kin

A small and cute little people that scream danger if they were to be seen by a *lolicon. They had a small build even In their adult period, and always been mistaken as a child. The fox-kin was the most high demand slaves for the sick and twisted peoples in this world. Because of their small and cute body structure and features of tiny animal ears with bushy tail, they were treated more like a pet than a person. Very low magic affinity (almost null) and the weakest subs races of this world.

[Ravatoil Empiratorae]

[population: 5.2 millions]

Also known as The Great Ravatoil Empire the largest nation on the world of Elluvian. Span almost half of the known continent and boast the most powerful nation of this world. Not much was known about this nation but it had the tiny similarity settings of the late pax-romana period on earth but with the touched of modernization and magic. The nation is ruled by an Emperor who's name still unknown. The emperor had five known children, the known ones are the forth Prince Elgard and the Princess Ellusia. Though the Empire was hostile to the Kingdom of Araeil in the past, because of the emergence of the Dungeons all over the world, the two nation sign a non aggression pact in secret until the Dungeon calamity were to be suppress.

[The Known Continent]

The known continent was the largest land mass that centered the world of Elluvian. Its almost the sized of the Pangea in earth scale. There were small continents around the Known Continent, but its still undiscover by the peoples of this world.

The Empire's territories stretch from the end coasts of the east side of the Known Continent until the boarders of the Kingdom and several others small nations. Even though they covered almost half of the Known Continent, thanks to the wise Emperor rule, its nation flourish in its massive wealth.

The Kingdom was position in the southwest of the Known continent. Even though it had a smaller territories than the mighty Empire, the Kingdom didn't fall far from its neighboring nations. This thanks to the old king Vormorth, who was also known as the True Sage. Upon the kingdom's creation, the True Sage puts the fear and admiration on all of the peoples in this world, when the kingdom was only a small developing nation. With the True Sage guidance, the Kingdom was known for its strength in magic advance and development.

When the calamity happens about a millennium prior to Riel's Reincarnation, the True Sage was the one who leads humanity from the brink of annihilation. By sealing the Dungeon away after defeating the Creator, he was named Champion of Elluvian and was given the title King Founder of the Kingdom Of Araeil.

Because of this event, the people of this world greatly feared and admired the True Sage. Tales were written in his name. Some said that he was a demon incarnation thats turned good for the sake of humanity, others said that he did it because of wanted all the women in the world for himselves, but none of this was proven by anyone. Since the True Sage's death were unknown and shrouded in mysteries. Even his descendants didn't had the recollection of their great ancestor's demise.

[The Academy of Araeil]

The setting background for the game of Realivese. It was unknown on how did this Academy was formed. Some said that it was created by the True sage himself In search for his successor, while other said that its just the sake of the Kingdom's arrogance to flaunt their power in the world stage, since this Academy was the only one of its kind in this world. There were other institutions all across the world, but all of them were inferior to the Academy Of Araeil in terms of knowledges. In the past, peoples will be selected to studied in the Academy by the Adjudicators, but since the Magic Era of Decline, it opens its door to who ever had the funds or were given scholarship to attend the Academy. Though in recent years, it starting to admitting peoples from all races In the age of 18 or above. Because of that, the Academy had a verity of students from all the races of this world.

Thus, this is the Archive for the world setting for the world of Elluvian. More will be explain on the next Archive by the end of Volume 2.
