" Are you sure you want us to go first, Boss?"

" If you need to, both of us can wait for you. Even if your really need us to explore the academy, sending Dog Bei alone would be enough."

" I'm sure. Since you two have finished eating, go check into your dorms and start exploring" Yu Xian gestured a shoo'ing motion with his hands

" We're going to be meeting again at midnight for the Entrance Ceremony anyway. So just find out what you can and report back to me then." he continued

The two of them made their way outside the cafe, making sure to turn back every few steps with pitiful expressions, seemingly wishing for their leader to rethink his decision.

In the tiniest moments it took for the fork to fall out of his hands and reach the ground, Yu Xian had switched to battle mode. Turning his gaze towards the source of that voice, he readied his fist.

" Thank you, Truly." she smiled back at him, before gracefully seating herself

Nervously shivering, he also sat down

He watched the interaction between her and the waiter as she listed a set of items off before asking for double portions for each one.
