Never Lose Yourself Over A Man

Both of his palm were sweating while holding the bouquet of roses.

Sarah could see the nervousness in his eyes as he spoke the words, "can I court you?".

Even though they have interacted many times already, and that Sarah had secretly fallen inlove with him. She was shocked how he still wanted to court her first.

He seem to be sincere, or maybe she was still so young and naive that she believed in every promises he had given her.

Jasper Kim courted her for 3 months when she finally agreed to be his girlfriend.

They started dating but in those times, Jasper Kim knew what he had got himself into.

Sarah Lee was not the type of girl that likes to have someone who spends their money for her. She feels like she owes the person big time and those money spent seem like to be some sort of debt.

Everything was progressing smootly, until their relationship last for a year and a half that they finally decided to meet up with the parents.

The Kim's wasn't that warm in welcoming her into their home. This was because they already hired someone to look through her background.

Jasper Kim was the only son and the heir of their family business. He was not the kind of person that should settle with a common lady like her.

Mr. and Mrs. Kim even dismissed having manners as they immediately blurted out that she was not fit for their son and that he or she should break up with the other person or else.

After that dissappointing meet with his parents, they both decided to buy an apartment and live together.

Yet they both know that they can't stay like that forever. Either they surrender to people against their relationship or suffer the consequences of their decisions.

Mother knows best. This was the line that kept repeating on Sarah's mind. If she had just listened to Jasper's mom then she wouldn't have to waste 2 years of her life with a man like him.

Letting out a heavy sigh, she threw a pillow at her friend who was sitting on the couch staring into space.

Not in her right mind, that person was unable to dodge from the attack and the pillow covered her face as it fell down.

The person glared at her and was about to throw the pillow back at her. "I was saving you from your thoughts", Arie Zhou rolled her eyes.

"I'm too lazy to even think about anything right now", replied Sarah Lee with a calm expression on her face.

Sarah Lee was now staying at her friend's home.

Although her family was not rich, and that she had lost her mom while giving birth to her.

She still did not lack the financial support, love and care she needed and this was all because of her dad.

Arie Zhou was so worried about her that she badly wanna face that guy and just beat him up, but she knows that it was not what she wanted.

"You can stay here as much as you like" Arie Zhou assured her.
