All of them sit in the living room. Grandmother and with the help of Shouko, both of them prepare some snacks and perilla juice.

"Thank you very much, Grandmother. now... I want to talk about a very important thing that's going to change Shouko's life" Rai said.

'Is he going to ask a marriage in hand? isn't it too fast?!' Yaeko's mother thought. Although her face is calm and cold like, she panicked a little on the inside/

'My! He's going to ask for my grand daughter's hand in marriage? How bold.' Shouko grandmother thought.

"We're not going to give Nee-chan to Marry you! You just start dating and already ask her hand in marriage?! Are you crazy?!" Yuzuru explode when she heard what Rai said. Shouko face is blushing very red. Shouko thinking what he says earlier and it sounds like he asks her family to give her to Rai.

'Are you guys misunderstand something? There's nothing wrong with my word right?' Rai thought. Unfortunately, he is a little dense about what he says.

"Well, I think you guys misunderstand something. although I don't mind asking her hand in marriage" Rai said. and that makes Yuzuru pissed. She thought that this guy is so shameless.

"Then what is it that you want to talk about" This time Yaeko is then who is finally talking. Rai is a little surprised. She is a little different from what he thought. She still cold but she is very caring about her kids. Grandmother just smiles.

"Alright... Shouko deafness can be cured" Rai said.

"Look at me Yuzuru. Do you think I am telling a joke right now?" Rai seriously said that. The Nishimiya family look at Rai and can tell that he is serious.

"Are you serious? Are you really serious?" Yaeko said. That's the first time Shouko's mother's expression looks a little hopeful. Yaeko is always blaming herself for her weakness and Shouko sickness. She realizes she misguided Shouko and blamed herself more at that time.

"I am dead serious. My friend has a doctor who is let's be honest, an elite private doctor. that doctor can cure her deafness. although that means my friend is already repaid me since he owes me" Rai said. all of Rai said is a lie to cover about his power

"Are you serious that you want to waste that big payment for our Shouko?" Shouko Grandmother asked Rai.

"Yes, I am. I am willing to do anything for her" Rai said with a serious face.

after another couple of minutes of silence. Yaeko finally said.

"Okay. I believed you" And Yaeko get up and bowed to him "Please heal her" she said. of course, this making Rai flustered and Yuzuru's faces become shocked.

"Please get up Mother! I already promised I'll do anything for her" Rai said.

"Thank you very much, Rai. really thank you..." And Yaeko let out a little cry. Shouko and Yuzuru comfort her by hugging her. Rai just calm her by massaged Yaeko's hand.

"And if you ask for my blessing, then I approve" Yaeko said. that put a surprise on Rai's face.

'Aren't you accepting this too fast?! I am only joking you know. well half-joking since I did want to marry her in the future. what about your character that not easily trust men?' Rai thinks. he wonders why Yaeko just suddenly accepting it too fast.

"But you guys can't go to that doctor. only me and Shouko. it's just for your safety" Rai said.

"Hey Hey! Is the place you guys going dangerous? I am not allowing that" Yuzuru said.

"No, it's not dangerous. It's filled with an arrogant elite young master. if you guys go there, then I and my friend can't protect you all" Rai said. He smoothly lies to Shouko family and they just nod.

"You guys don't have to worry. She's going there for a day and coming back at night. The process is actually fast and saves" Rai continues.

after all that and a quick chat about how tomorrow is going to be, Rai prepare to go home. Rai said goodbye to them and kiss Shouko on the lips, which Yuzuru quickly pull her apart from Rai. even though they know Shouko is going to be a cure, they're not celebrating it since they still a little afraid Shouko can't be cured. It's understandable they don't want to grab false hope.

Rai waved at them and He drives off to his house at Nakano. He parked in the garage and getting ready for bed.

It's 5 in the morning and Rai text Kikue-sensei that He and Shouko are going to a private hospital to cure Shouko deafness. since it's still in the morning His teacher is probably asleep so he closed his phone and prepare breakfast plus a special bento.

He makes the bento while putting the full use of his max cooking proficiency. It's going to be full of meat and veggies, but most importantly the Rice. when the bento is done, Rai is packed up and he put it in an item box. just in case, he brought a big lunch bag and put it in his car front trunk.

He starts his NSX and he's off to get Shouko. even though it's 6 am, it's already bright. well, Japan is the land of the rising sun.

He arrives at her house. He rings the doorbell and to his surprise, Shouko is already waiting for him while wearing casual clothes. Her family just wave at Rai and said to take care of her and inform them about Shouko treatment. Rai nods to them. Shouko hug them and they are off to go.

[Where are we going anyway] Shouko asks him with her notepad.

"We're going to a Resort in the Gunma area. I didn't lie when I said someone owes me a favor. She already got us a room since I text her last night" Rai said.

[Her?] Shouko is giving him a suspicious look. Rai notice it and said.

"She is the grandmother that owns that resort. it's a tootsuki one too, so I already have a room for both of us to relax and enjoy our today ditch date" Rai said.

[Oh yeah, we ditched school] Shouko tell him with a hand sign and looking a little awkward. she ditched school if she has a doctor's appointment. technically this is also an appointment since Rai is actually going to completely heal her. Shouko feels that she is a naughty student right now.

[I feel like we're a delinquent right now] Shouko write on her notepad.

"Well, we kinda are" Rai just had an awkward smile. "But since this is an emergency lie, I thought it could be fun too" He said. Shouko thought,

'I don't know what to say. to reprimand him or just tell him he's right' Then Shouko suddenly became bold and kisses his cheek. he wrote a note said,

[I know we're going to be having a relaxed and fun day, but don't do it on a school day okay] Shouko just remind him and she shows her angelic smile. Rai is having a blank thought because he just suddenly getting a kiss by an angel, boldly too. He just smiles and pat her head while said,

"I Love you Shouko" Rai said, and she answers with a smile and her tone albeit a bit broken, for the last time.

"Me twooo" She said with a smile. Shouko really have an angelic charm when she smile.
