1 Let's Begin From Here

"Life is all about ups and downs. We don't know what we have to face in the next moment. We just try to make ourselves happy or sad according to the situation.

I, Annabelle, a 27 years old woman, who is still so unsure about what will happen next in her dramatic life. I am sitting in front of my bedside window and thinking whether I should post my very first written novel.

Yes, I am nervous. Nervous about every single decision of my life. I wasn't like this before. I was more confident, more radiant. I was so sure about my life decisions. The sudden change of character blew me hard.

Maybe my readers are wondering how this change occurred. I guess they have already thought of many possibilities for this change. But I am not going to blame any of my life incidents for this. It was me who chose to be here. My selfish decisions and also maybe a little bit of my karma were behind it.

Some of my readers are also making assumptions by thinking that they are going to read about my past decisions and incidents now. But surprisingly I don't have a little bit of intention to write those boring things. But yes, if it is needed, I will mention my past incidents from time to time.

Eventually, we get to know in one of our lives that we all are the writers of our own stories. So willingly or not, since I was born, I am a writer. But it's not easy to cross the path of ignorance to realization for all humans. I was ignorant once. Then again, my life taught me and dispelled the ignorance. Sometimes my life gives me inspiration. Inspiration to live, inspiration to do something.

From today onward, I am going to share the story of my life after a very significant tragic turn. That turn which led me to become an actual writer."

Miss Eliana paused the recorder as soon as Annabelle finished saying. Slowly she put her fingers on the keyboard and then her eyes met with Annabelle's beautiful, radiant dark brown eyes. Sun rays were passing through her and she looked like a portrait. She is gorgeous despite being a woman in her mid-thirties. Not just her face, her character, her ambiance, her aura, all these felt so beautiful and green to Eliana that she couldn't take her eyes off whenever her eyes met the lady. Gradually she realized that she had stopped typing.

There was a beautiful silence for a long time inside the room. Both of them were enjoying the view of the morning through the wide window. It was calm weather.

Finally, Annabelle broke the silence.

"Will this be enough for the prologue?"

"More than enough," Eliana answered with a sweet smile on her small cute face.

Annabelle liked this girl. She reminded her of her own teenage self. Maybe this is called youth, she thought.

A dress with the same design has different colors. Customers choose the colors according to their choices. Youth is also like those designs and colorful dresses. It just changes color according to the character of a person. But the never changing fact is that they are both colorful. No one likes to wear a dress without a color even if it was their favorite outfit but still keeps it inside their closet with care as a memory. Youth is also like that. It just changes according to the different characteristics of various persons. When you are young you are colorful with different gradients and when you grow old day-by-day those colors wither away. But still the design, the design of your life, the design of your character remains there. That is the universal truth.

This girl, Eliana, also came today at Annabelle's house to borrow that colorless dress.

No, it was not colorless! It was still the same beautiful colorful dress to her. Looking closely, Eliana could also see its color and feel what it was at that time. As if its youthful presence that was gone a long time ago hid its present nothingness.

There was fine tea served in a ceramic set on the table in front of them. Annabelle took the kettle and poured two cups. She picked one of them and took a little sip. Then slowly she said, "Let's begin then. Shall we?"

"Yes, of course," Eliana smiled.
