16 Ouranos.

-----------------------------------------

A/N: Guys, I have come carrying some good news, and bad ones.

Bad news: There will be a drop in chapter updates this month. A lot of stuff is happening around me, from my job to college preparation. It will naturally be way harder for me to post.

Good news: The novel is officially going R18. I have wrote the first lewd scene. It was definitely a new experience for me. Don't expect them to be there all the time, but I think it was a good one.

?Good/Bad News?: I'm digging myself a hole with the romance. I feel like MC is too committed to Hephaestus. I'm starting to think Harem is going to cheapen that bond.

I also made a patr.e.on page, you can hop there if you want to get directly involved. The subscription is basically symbolic and there are 10 chapters ahead. Patr.e.on/MunirSM

I woke up feeling quite happy and energetic remembering the date I had the day before. Although, both of us decided to hold off publicising it for the moment.

I may have spoken a bit too much, but they were all things I would have to tell her eventually. And she was a lot more comfortable with me. I guess the idea that we're both two misfits was most appealing to her.

But most of all, good relationships start with both trust and communication.

I decided to open a skill token.

[Mind's Eye (True)-Rank A]

The user is capably Capable of calm analysis of the abilities of the opponent as well as the battle conditions even when in danger and deducing an appropriate course of action after considering all possibilities.

It would have been a massive hit if I didn't have a similar skill. It was still a good one to have. What I didn't particularly enjoy was that I got two out of two skills from the Nasuverse.

'I don't like where this is going.'

My expression hardened when I felt the presence of someone as I opened the door and tensed up. It was then when a black-robed fully hooded figure came into existence.

The robes make it impossible to tell their gender or any other features.

'What a way to ruin a nice morning' I grimaced.

''I was told to be careful around you. I didn't expect you to sense me. To feel me through my cloak is no easy feat.'' said the now-named Fels with a creepy voice in an 'impressed' tone.

''I am to impress. To what do I owe the pleasure?'' I said curtly while fully keeping on guard.

'He' was an extremely old individual, a millennium-old at the least. I couldn't assume his strength was only at level4.

You tend to pick up a lot of tricks when you are centuries old.

''I am but a messenger. Lord Ouranos wants to meet you.'' 'He' said shaking his head.

''I don't understand why he would want to meet me. I assume there is a reason?''

''I was told to mention to you the term 'Beyonder'. You would understand.'' 'He' said in the ever creepy stoic voice.

I nodded. It wasn't something unexpected. Ouranos was the OverLord of Tenkai. It would be even weirder if he didn't sense me suddenly pop in his backyard.

What surprised me was the fact that he sought me out. He gave the impression of following the philosophy of ruling but not governing. He never interfered when Zeus and Hera Familia got kicked out, nor when all of their members got wiped out.

''Alright. Lead the way.'' Felt put on the invisibility cloak.

In his place came an equally creepy owl as its owner. It had too many eyes for my liking.

A gruff voice was heard from the owl '' Follow me.''

It led me to behind the guild and then underground. There was a moment when I considered the possibility of a trap. I discarded it the next moment after. If Ouranos wanted me dead, there was nothing I could do about it. He was the only god with his divinity fully unlocked. There was no reason to go through this whole charade.

'The question is the reason he's seeking me.'

As I was thinking about it, I could see a massive metal gate opening up. The first thing that captured my attention was the stairs leading up to a massive throne. On it was the Primordial God of the Sky.

[Ouranos-Lvl?]

He had white hair and blue eyes, wearing a white robe with a black hooded cloak and sandals. Even sitting, you could see he had a towering figure. He had an air that demanded respect without even trying.

I could see Fels standing on his right.

''Greetings. My name's Akagi Ken. It is a pleasure to meet you, Lord Ouranos.'' I said as I bowed a little. He at least deserved that much respect.

He hummed ''I have been keeping an eye on you 'beyonder'. Ever since the day, you stepped into this world. I had been considering if you were a threat to the world meant to be eliminated. You are an anomaly that will bring one too many changes. ''

He raised an eyebrow at my composed behaviour.

'Well, the cat is already out of the bag.'

''I had expected you were aware of my presence. Me being here is simply indicative that I am not what you consider a true threat to the world.''

''And why is that exactly'' He said.

''Well. How hard could it be for a god to smite a mortal while sitting?'' I smiled.

He stayed silent for a bit.'' Perhaps now it is. Don't think lowly of me 'Mortal'. It isn't the first time I have seen one of your kind. They perish or turn mad when they step into a different plane. I have never seen a sane, human-like case such as yourself.'' He hummed.

'That's some new information at least.'

''I can't comment on that. But, hurting this world is not something I would do. I've come to really like it. I also have plans to conquer the dungeon as arrogant as it may sound.''

''How would you feel about sentient monsters?'' He said in an inquisitive tone.

'Why is he so hang-up about them. Is there some kind of secret behind it? Weirdly, that was the first question he had for me.'

''I'm assuming you're talking about the Xenos?'' I asked noticing we were going to be talking in vague terms and I had to take hold of the conversation pace.

''So you know about them? That was unexpected, but the question still stands. Perhaps even more now'' He asked in a grave tone.

''I have no opinion on them,'' I said, Ouranos mentioned me to continue. ''As you know, I am a new resident. I hold no grudge or strife against monsters. My opinion is as neutral as they come on them. I consider them as simple magic stones and excelia storing beings. Nothing more, nothing less. ''

''I'm afraid the others would not be the same. The grudge against monsters is realistically never going to fade. To accept the Xenos is to deny all the past suffering the monsters caused.'' I stopped for a few seconds. ''It is going to take some elaborate schemes to make them accepted. Ones that I am in no shape or form willing to partake in.'' I said decisively.

'I would rather not be used as some kind of hero figure. Not only is that utterly foolish, but it goes against my nature as well. True heroes are ones ready to die for strangers, something I am not keen on.'

''I suppose things would be easier should I clear the dungeon. I am sure some crowd manipulation and control would be enough then. Some tear-jerking story about the Xenos ought to give them some coverage at the least. The more elaborate stuff I'll leave for the experts.''

''Hmm. You don't seem too bad at 'schemes' yourself.'' Said the before silent Fels. He hadn't chimed in our conversation since the start.

''Not at all. Politics and schemes are not something I enjoy. I just know enough to protect myself a bit.'' I said smiling politely.

''On that note. I have a favour to ask for Lord Ouranos.''

''I'll hear it.'' He said.

''As you know. My growth is not usual. I hope you don't disclose my level-ups officially. It would make concentrating solely on the dungeon a lot easier. At least until I can hold my grounds.''

''That can be arranged.'' The god simply nodded and gestured to Fels.

I assumed he meant I'll get the details from Fels. I don't enjoy talking with that person.

I was getting out when Fels came next to me and we started discussing the details of the deal. I told him it was okay to disclose my first level-up. It wouldn't be that impressive considering the way I handled it at the start.

I obviously can't have too big of a difference between my actual level and the official one. It is already unbelievable with me raising all my stats to 1999 at each level. The difference would only keep getting ridiculous with each subsequent level-up.

This was more of a short-term deal.

'Good thing the highest level around is 'only' seven.' I thought as I shook my head.

I at least got a few things from this meeting.
