And publicly admiting that his manlyhood not being able to rise up for any kind of challenge. Demon of 1000 swords. A fiersome man who brough fear to those who crossed paths with him. He firmly believed in the collection of powerful swords from worthy origins and bringing death to those who dared to show their fangs at him. A man who befriended the mad emperor Quin, who gave him the honorary title of "Harem king of swords". (The man who received the name didn't know the meaning of harem and it became illegal to explain its meaning verbally in the empire. The man who received the title also didn't know how to read.) But those aren't the only titles the man had. Some of the self imposed titles were, but are not limited to: Cock tamer. Fucker of bitches. Fucker of all kinds of bitches. Cocktwister(er). Couple of pastries out of party. You get the gist. He may act powerles from time to time, but he knows his way with the sword and has many sentient blades waiting for his call. He was called a demon for a reason after all. Mathews may or may not be asexual and/or aromantic. There may be some heavy stuff thrown in to the story, but it is generaly advised to read the "series" while not thinking too much about what you are reading. Everything that is written in the story is generally meant to be entertaining and insulting anyone's life or their life choices are not the goal of the "series". (For an example: There is two instances of people ending their lives by their own hands in the first chapter. Though not heavily talked about, the reaction from the MC to the second one may feel disturbing or disrespectful to some audience.)
