The Book is awesome no doubt the cooking is brilliant very outstanding the only flop is the progression the storyline is so slow we all now he's a stay at home dad but the way he lies about the girl's mother is not OK, every girl deserves the truth about their parents I mean 500 chapters in not single scent about the girls mama how long do u plan to milk this cows bear in mind even cows grow old am telling you as a reader and a fan even us grow tired of hoping for both parents to reunite but from what I've seen it's gonna take more than 1000 chapter, and this here is how u lose readers.
The story started good but it becomes another repetitive faceslapping novel as the story progresses . The MC only ambition is to become a good parent but he fails to become one, since the child develops to a haughty and disrespectful person. He doesn't reprimand his child but instead praise her for what she does even if he knows that what the child does is wrong. He also makes the child watch how he kills people and also often lead the child into dangerous mission. The side characters at beginning (chapter 1-100+) are quite good but after those chapters , generic arrogant young masters and faceslapping scenarios are the often scene and characters you will encounter . I don't mind the occasional nationalism of the author in the novel since I am already numb to it . What I really bothers me the most is the halfway change in translation ! I have good time reading at the beginning but the translation suddenly turns bad after the heeyyee translation translated the novel.
The novel is great and everything that happened is logical but it's been 500+ chapters and the mc still useless strengthwise. I know that he's still recovering but it's 500+ chapters, isn't that enough already? Ugh! He could literally train himself again into 10th tier and it would still be faster than getting strength from the useless system. You always portray the mc as an overprotective dad but he keeps forgiving people who tried to kill his daughter as if he is a coward who can't even write their names as "to be killed Everything is great so far but the longer I see the mc as useless and pathetic, the more I'm getting fed up. It would've been better if Amy was the mc if he keeps himself like that. I mean, how could you not get upset when things like he can't protect his daughter and his friends are the ones who keeps protecting her happens while his there standing like a log at the background. Or when his daughter was the one who's protecting him cause he's weak af. I mean wtf his daughter is 4 yrs old. I know he's fearless af and it's not his fault he's weak but it's been so long. Come on.

As other reviewers said, the novel is fluffy and heartwarming. Definitely itβs not like GoW of GFS, there is no antisocial, arrogant MC but a clever and devoted father and his loli daughter trying to live happily in a fantasy world... of course, the MC is a transmigrated Rich Chinese modern guy and has to pay for the karma he accumulated in our world meanwhile he set his goal in growing his new identityβs daughter the best he can by improving with the System God of Cookery, I find this motivation very interesting.
It started off as an interesting story but the whole pedo loli thing is played out and while it's not like the usual cultivation novels where's there's fighting for no reason somehow people find it ok to threaten customers every chapter and make fun of them like that's a good thing? There's comic relief and then there's this mess that constantly repeats itself.
Translation - 5 stars Updates - 5 stars Development - 2 stars Characters - 2 stars Background - 4 stars Great start but characters, especially the daughter, just get really annoying as the story progresses. The conflicts felt repetitive as well so I lost interest. It's a good read if you're bored but I don't think I'll continue to the end.
I'm sorry I really wanted to but I, I can't keep reading these. I love the concept of the story and most of it is pretty satisfying to read. as time goes by there are more and more pacing issues that, I have with it, which is making it unbearable read at this point. I am 441 chapters in and it feels like almost a couple of days went by in this novel a little more than a month. It didn't feel like almost anything significant happen even though I know the small significant things that did happen. It's extremely unsatisfying. It continues to wear and tear the more I continue to try to keep moving forward, thinking that something significant would change. My personal opinion I think this needs a rewrite, I very much enjoy the story, I think it's very good most of the time just feels like there are so many useless Parts in it.
What i believe to be a fair score for this novel. Update stability is good, world background is alright and the rest is bad. Like others mentioned before, this is a sorry attempt at making an MTL readable. Then you got the characters, arrogant mc of course, loli girl that is too spoiled for its own good. and other weird beings that just don't fit their description too well. (because tamed by food amirite) Also a funny thing about this novel is how the first refview page is divided by a 50/50 low and high score but the novel stil got a 4.6 rating? Either someone is spamming a ton of random 5 star reviews or newer bad reviews get deleted. I do not know which is the case but the score shouldn't be 4.6... Now give me my exp!
