Reaper looked at the ground as he stood on the flying sword the wind passed by his neural connectors. He looked up and saw the for that kept staring at him with intensity he ignored it and continued to map the area.

The old man who was known as senior white scar hummed a song as they flew. his attitude changed once they got on the sword the more reserved and serious man became more carefree and jovial. He was excited about there new recruit and he was hoping to become his master but he couldn't do it yet until he was signed in at the sect hall.

He was cursing the rules for that if he could skip them he would have had the child as his pupil immediately. he just hoped he could at least make a good impression on the boy as they flew to the sect.

The others that passed the test were accompanying them by either carriage or other modes of transportation. A child looked at the sky as he rode on a horse he saw reaper who was looking at the area. He was curious about the man as he had the chance to be an immortal but he couldn't find a time to make friends with the man.

As they left the forest they soon entered the desert but this one was on the opposite of the one he came from. This one looked more filled with life as he saw cacti and other lizard-type animals. he even saw a scorpion the size of a car eating a lizard that was the size of a motorcycle.

They continued their journey to the sect and after nearly a month of traveling, they reached the city of emeralds. reaper saw the city and could confirm it was a very green place as many plants were everywhere. the roofs had small grasses and the streets were lined with palm trees.

The emerald city had the highest amount of wood and nature root cultivators. which also meant they had the highest amount of apothecary and other healing occupations. they were called the life of the grand moon empire.

They flew above and soon arrived at the sect the green light twinked even in the bright sun. The old man used his token and entered the barrier he flew and soon arrived at the center of the sect. Everyone got off and the old man lead the two recruits to the sect hall his steps had a great life to them as he got closer he was getting impatient and hoping to ask the boy to be his pupil after he entered the sect.

As the man walked to the sect hall many people bowed in greeting some older nodded in his direction. the man didn't respond since he was too focused on his mission. The man opened the door to the hall as if he caught his wife cheating on him with his friend which caused everyone to look at him. The man ignored the looks and quickly made reaper and the other person he forgot about register into the sect.

After they finished the man popped the big question.

"As you know you are now a new member of the sect and you have the choice to find a teacher I would like to ask if you would be my pupil?" the old man asked as if he was proposing to his childhood crush.

Reaper didn't care that much and agreed the man had a calm smile but inside he was thanking everybody even the demons for allowing him to have this fortune. He told reaper to meet him as his peak and soon left to go celebrate he wanted reaper to explore the sect so he would get lost later.

He also told him to get his things from the sect storage before heading to the peak. The girl looked at the fleeing man with shock he didn't even bother with her and just fled into the wind.

"You lucky bastard you became the teacher to white scar!" the girl yelled as she gripped reapers collar her wide and sporadic look made reaper think she was on a stimulant.

"What is so special about that?" reaper asked the girl.

"He was appointed as the substitute emperor that fought in the inferno war 200 years back!" the girl said as she tightened her grip on his collar. Reaper grabbed her small hands and easily took them of his collar before leaving.

"My name is Cecil remember that I shall beat you and become an immortal!" the girl yelled and soon realized people were looking at her weirdly. she left in embarrassment and since she didn't know anyone she followed reaper to the storage to not feel alone.

"Why are you following me?"

"I wanted to go to the storage and I figure it's best to follow the prodigy."

Cecil said as she followed reaper soon after exploring the sect they arrived at the storage and took the items for the new members. two sets of robes 10 energy pills and 10 healing pills. a weapon of there choice and a book on cultivating but Odin gained and extra bonus because of white scar. his cultivation was gold grade and he also got a movement and weapon technique.
