5 Chapter 5

It was dinner time now.

It was a very quiet evening. And Mr Dong was quieter than everything. And Spring had a feeling that her father was very serious.

The food on the table was still warm. But Mr Dong was not feeling into eating.

Spring began to wonder what her father was worrying about.

Mr Dong might have notice his daughter worrying face. Then he tried to be relaxed himself and began to eat.

"How was your day today, dear"

He asked.

"It was fun dad...", Spring replied. She then suddenly remember how Lee Yoon (Changmin) punched the other guy. He must be overly worried. She gave out a little laugh thinking about it.

"You seem happy!", her father said.

That made Spring felt a little hot on cheeks.

It was around 10 o'clock at night, Changmin was sitting on the computer desk beside his bed.

He was researching and hacking important information. He was was researching about Big Boss, the big marfia that Cheif Police was working with.

While researching he thought about how his two friends had died. He thought why respectable man like Cheif Police would do something like this.

He did get some information which he thought might be useful. This Big Boss was not really public person. He had other few guys near him went out to do trading illegal goods such drugs, weapons and other goods.

Changmin finally closed down his computer. It's time to finally rest.

But before, he slept, he checked the whereabouts household (except private bedroom and bathroom😅) on his CCTV which was next to his personal laptop. Everything looked fine and peaceful.

Then he saw Spring outside of her room at bacolny looking up to the sky, in one box of square screen. The wind passed her by. She enjoyed the feeling of cold and warm combination of the wind and it's natural sound. That wind also passed on Changmin too. She did not stayed out for long though. After some minutes, she went back into her room.

Then everything was quiet.

Changmin dim the light of his room and prepared to sleep. He felt somehow happy just seeing Spring before slept. He was not sure why.

The hard paper cup without ice lemon tea was on still his desk.

Meanwhile, Mr Dong could not go to sleep yet too. He was still getting threats to work with Big Boss. He did not like this situation. But he was not that powerful.

He sat on his bed then pull out upper drawer from a desk beside. Then he pull out his old diary. From that he took an old photo. It showed he and his best friend at school more than 30 years ago.

He was saying to himself inside. So this Lee Yoon was your son. He grew up a lot. Last time, he saw his friend was when his friend's kids were really young. But he did not get to see his friend since as their lives was in different path. Shim was a good cop. It's only a pity he passed away young leaving his widow and two kids. But they grow. He wonder how were the other two doing.

Mr Dong thought about how he had unexpectedly came to this path of life and how his friend short life. Life was sometimes not fair.

The next day came.

Changmin drove for Spring as usual. It was again quiet.

That day was a bit less busy at the hospital too as less patients came that day.

Spring was relieved too. Being a healer not the best environment to work in. She was happy when her patients were healed. But not everytime, results were positive. She had seen people suffered. This was how the world was she guessed. But not everything was bad then.

At their lunch time, Spring, Yuri and Ryeowook all sat together at a cafe near hospital.

Yuri was checking her phone and suddenly, she looked exicted.

Then she looked up to the other two and said.."Heyy...Spring, you know...Yunho will be holding concert next!"

Spring looked up. Ryeowook too..he said.."So...why so excited...."

"He's been my bias for years! Feeling I need to go! Are you coming Spring?"

Spring thought for awhile and said, "Yes!"

Yuri was happy. Spring wondered if her friend Grace who was living in another country would come too. She knew Grace liked Yunho.

Nevertheless, she got to check with Grace at break time that day. She had a feeling Grace would be coming.

That evening, Spring looked very excited when Changmin picked her up back.

While driving, he could sense her happiness.

"Miss Spring looked happy today. It must have been really fine day", he spoke up.

Spring looked up at him and said, "Yes! My favorite singer will be holding concert next month!"

"Who is your favorite singer?"

"You know Yunho?"

Ohh! That man! Changmin thought.

After sending Spring back to the household, Mr Dong and Changmin had to come work at Cassino for some business.

They arrived at the cassino which was already open a time ago. Mr Dong walked in front and Changmin walked behind. They were both in black suit. Suddenly, Changmin sensed something he pulled out his gun and pointed to the back. He and Cheif police were pointing guns at each other. Cheif Police seemed very surprise.

Mr Dong looked back too. "What is this Mr Cheif?" Mr Dong felt triggered somehow.

Cheif Police lowered down his gun. He did the same. Changmin tried best not to change expression and kept normal.

Mr Cheif Police then began laughed causally and said. "It's been awhile since I came here. My kins came here often." he paused for awhile and said "Dont be angry Mr Dong! I am only teasing and testing your new bodyguard. I heard he is quite good and quick and he is...by the way who is he?"

"Ohh....he's distant kin of mine. His name is Lee Yoon!"

"Nice to meet you!" Cheif Police said. He and Changmin shake hands.

Changmin could see Cheif Police was suspicous of him. But Changmin could not help about this situation. It was too sudden.

"I just come here for some drinks!" Cheif Police said.

"Welcome!" Mr Dong replied. And he welcome into his cafe at the cassino.

Changmin noticed that Cheif police came with another guy. Had he seen him before? Yes! He was that suspicous guy at the market yesterday!!
