BIRTHDAY

Its late March and the sun is shining in the city of Los Angeles, Mackenzie' 24th birthday is only a few days away. Mackenzie is packing to go to toronto, to visit his mother for his birthday but Nathaniel had different plans.

"Nathaniel, I need you to look after my cat. Fish-sticks likes you so I'm sure he won't scratch you, but don't give him any treats, he gains weight instantly." I nod my head and smile. Knowing that I wasn't going to do any of this but my good friend Shane was. I was recording everything that Mackenzie was saying.

"Thank you I have to catch my plane now." He said shutting the door behind him. I sent the recording to Shane and grabed my bag, following Mackenzie out, passing Shane in the hallway. Mackenzie takes the elevator and I run down the stairs.

He gets into an uber that he ordered and I go into mine. "Follow that car." The uber man looks at me and smiles wickedly. He steps on the gas and rides the ass end of Mackenzie' uber.

"The names Jack, Jack Ross. Following another car is suspicious buisness but I'll look the other way for some extra cash." I go through my wallet and give him a hundred dollar bill.

"Don't lose him." I pat his shoulder and relax. In the bag I brought, I cover my face with a mask, sun glasses and a baseball cap. I also wore a jean jacket. The cap and the jacket together are something I'd never wear, Mackenzie knew it and so it was the perfect disguise.

Jack parked the car behind a black jeep that was beside Mackenzie' uber. I got out of the car and headed toward the airport. I followed behind him and entered the building. I already bought my ticket to toronto online with the same plane as Mackenzie. I follow Mackenzie to the receptionist and she gives him the ticket for the plane and he walks away.

Keeping my eye on Mackenzie, the woman gives me the plane ticket. Mackenzie sat on the first chair on the right, I sit behind him two chairs down.

I waited there for two hours, avoiding eye contact with Mackenzie and my phone. I was worried Mackenzie would look at the wrong time and see my home screen which was a picture of me, the band and Mackenzie all doing the peace sign with our fingers. Me being the odd one out showing the middle finger.

Trying to keep my cover I look the opposite of Mackenzie. Then finally our plane was called. Mackenzie went on the plane first and I followed behind him. He sat down and I sit beside him. He looks out the window. "Who's watching my cat?" I look at Mackenzie and take off my glasses, hat and mask.

"Shane and how did you know?"

"I knew since the line at the airport. You were behind me and I couldn't feel your emo- I mean, your disguise is crap, next time be shorter and dye your hair blonde." I laugh. I take off the jean jacket and pull out my leather jacket and put it on.

"Is that my jacket?" Mackenzie said pointing at the jean jacket. I pinch my lips together and nod my head. He rolled his eyes.

"I've never flew in coach before and I'm not going to start today. I have first class and you're coming with me." I grab Mackenzie' hand and I drag him to first class. We sit at the glass table with the u shaped seat. "Am I allowed to be here?"

"No. But, like the flight attendant could say no to this face." I smile and kick my feet up on the table. I put on my sunglasses and lean back on the seat. A couple minutes later, a flight attendant with brown hair, brown eyes and brown skin approached the table.

Mackenzie seen her beautiful face and adjusted himself to be proper and smiled at her, she blushed at him and my chest hurt a little.

"Excuse me sirs, are you arthorised to sit here?" She asked.

I take off my sunglasses and drop my legs. The womans face drops and she stares at my face. "Nathaniel Jax. We welcome you." She looks at Mackenzie and he smiles. "Hello, do you have a ticket?" I slide my ticket toward Mackenzie, and he takes it. "Here you go, I'm Mackenzie, it's nice to meet you." He says smiling. I look at them disgusted. The woman looks at the ticket for only a second and gives it back.

"Everything checks out, enjoy you flight." She says giving a final glance at Mackenzie. Mackenzie looks backwards and watches her walk away. He looks at me again and whistles. I make a disgusted face and I lie down on the seat.

"The ticket literally says your name, how am I here?"

"Cause she's attracted to you. Don't know how." He slaps my forehead and I laugh. I stand up to sit on the table. "Aren't you curious how she knew who I was?"

"I don't know, maybe because you're famous."

"Wrong, remember when I said I was rich because my career and my family?" He shakes his head yes and I continue. "Well, my immediate family owns this airline, amongst other buisnesses. My uncle is the CEO of STAR entertainement." Mackenzie freezes and stares at me with disgust. I look at him confused and then his face turns into a smile.

"I knew it, so you aren't talented, you're only with STAR entertainment because of family!" He laughs and slaps his thighs.

"Shut up. you abominable snowman." Mackenzie continues to laugh.

About nine hours later we arrive in toronto, and after a while, we finally got off the plane. I had my sun glasses on and I followed Mackenzie out to see two woman holding up a sign that says Mackenzie Barnes. The woman with light brown hair flipped it and it said I missed you more. I smiled at the sweet gesture.

Mackenzie ran to her and gave her a hug and a kiss on the cheek. He did the same with the woman with the short dark brown hair.

"Hey mom, ma, I'd like you to meet Nathaniel."
