Edith and Selena went back to the mansion in the afternoon. After commissioned her needs for the banquet. She remembered all the dress designs, jewelries, and high-heeled shoes on a fashion magazine that she badly wanted, but back then she can't afford to buy one's even when she had a gathering reunion. Thus, in this event, she wants to have a beautiful gown that matched hers.

She spent her entire time reading several books in her room, exercising in the morning and afternoon. Along in her study, she knows that this world had mana concept, or they called it aether. A nature energy which able to make an anomaly in the actual world, as well as a holy energy and demonic energy, were part of this realm. Six days passed after her visits from the Madam Selby store in town. A neat package arrives at the mansion, Ones for the head family, The Count and the Countess Geneivre... My household. Ones for my adopted brother, and the last pack was for me.

A knocking sound reverberating inside the chamber, Edith turns her head into the door directions.

"My lady, this is Selena." She said.

"Come In."

As soon as I had granted permission, Selena comes inside the room while bringing in a package along with her. She places it on the table and rearrange it carefully.

"Thank you for carrying it to my chamber."

Selena's body halted for a moment and immediately resuming her work. Edith herself smiled bitterly, approaching her. 'It's not like my past action would be forgiven immediately by stay silent in my room for six days.'

Edith way of treating her servant was terrible and rude, the count and countess even give up reprimanding her.

"Lets check the dress Selena, help me prepare the gown."

"Alright, My lady."

Selena swiftly unpacking the box, placing the custom-made shoe hanging the dress carefully. A halter dress in a long modified a-line skirt comes into view. Dyes like a starry night sky, a small diamond decorating the waistline with a golden threads on the neck part.

She was obviously felt happy because it was well made. The dress amazed Selena, who was present in that room, she took a glance at her directions. It suits together with the lady body line, her exercise for the past few weeks might be for fitting the dress.

"It suits well with My Lady." Selena complimented her.

"Thank you, Selena." She smiled brightly, blinding Selena who caught off guard. Immediately bowing her head and found a tiny box near the shoe box.

"My lady, this is the package from Miranda Jewelries." She said while presenting the packages. Edith took the packages and opening it, a long-thin silver earring decorated with a white pearls on each side looks so lovely.

"This is so pretty, Selena take a look." She shows the earring, and Selena appreciating it. Even the jewelries' manager praised it by telling it was an unusual shape. He wished to see me wearing it.

Edith spent her time admiring the dress until the dinner times. As always, Selena informing her that the count and countess are in the dining table along with my adopted brother.

Maybe because it around the coming of age banquet, A knight which origins belong to the noble lineage free from the duty. She walked carefully and reach the dinner table. Her long forgotten brother face come in to view. He had a dark-greyed hair with grey eyes.

"Happy Birthday, here you're presents." her brother named was Adam, this year she did turned eighteen years old but never did Edith accept his gift. Her hatred painted with malice to his adopted brother, as if it were the real Edith. She wouldn't take the gift.

"You're late brother, thank you." she said, reaching the present. Checking the present, a ring root-shaped like with a diamond water-prepared on the center. Unknowingly, Edith smiled to him.

Adam himself unaware of her changed, She always loathed him from the young age, Maybe she despised him for receiving the heir role or hate him because he was a commoner. It might be both, Today as well he was pessimistic whether she will accept the gift or throw it away like she ever did.

"Its beautiful !" trying the ring on her finger, she smiled warmly to his brother. Adam was frozen stiff in his chair along with Count and Countess.

The Count and Countess didn't meet their daughter often. She meet her during breakfast and only noticed that she became softer but that's it nothing wrongs happened.

"Edith, is there anything wrong ?" The count had the urge to ask.

"Mmm.... No, but I had a problem, Father."

She herself didn't quite understand what was bothering her father about her, but Edith is a stubborn lady. 'I won't ask father if she had been securing a companion to the banquet, but this little mutt keep troubling herself by obsessing on other girls fiancée. If I don't want to eat shit later on I need a companion to prove I am moving on.'

"I don't have a companion for tomorrow banquet, and I need an escort father."
