A soldier's story

Is love worth it? And do we always have a choice? Rather, do we have a choice who we fall in love with. Two different worlds, who are far apart with nothing to attach find themselves entangled together. Either by attraction, love or in fact both. Like they say we have to sacrifice for the ones we love, but what happens when that sacrifice evolves into an indecisive choice, between a soldier who's first duty is to protect. When he is placed in a situation to choose between his country and the woman he loves. When he is made to lie, leave and protect all at the same. But as the question goes, there isn't always a choice and one has to be picked So what is it going to be? A soldier's story.

Theo's POV.

I open my eyes as the reflection of the sun hit my face. I can see clearly that it is daybreak already.

I turn to see the most beautiful woman I know sleeping beside me as her hand snuggle around me. She looks so calm, gentle, and beautiful I could stare at her face all day.

But unfortunately my moment os cut short when the door opens revealing Haula's mom and Lisa following. Haula's mom seems to notice Haula still sleeping as she gestures for me to meet her outside.

I thought she said she wouldn't be able to come early this morning, that was what Haula told me.

"I asked you to take care of my daughter, not sleep on the same bed." She blasts me as I walk out.

"I'm sorry ma'm I didn't want to leave her alone." I reply.

"I'm just kidding, look at you scared." Haula's mom and Lisa laugh making me glare at Lisa and I turn to smile at her mom.

Oh I have to be scared she's the mother of my girlfriend and she could tell her daughter not to see me again.
