4 4 - A guide to make friends

Also I'll change all the dialogues of "long dash" into "quotation marks" for english readers, can have an easier way to follow the story.

Well... to meet my hero, Let's do the first step.

"Good morning"

"huh?, ah! Go- good morning to you too ahm..."

"Sora, the name's Sora, you're Makunouchi right?, Best fishing spot boat Makunouchi's, my Dad enjoy's to fish once in a while and he told me about your business"

His face changed into a shy one. "Thanks I hope your Dad had a good time"

"The best he said, so what's your classroom?" I raised my eyebrow

"I don't know yet, I'm going to check"

"Wanna go together?"

"Uhm if you want to"

I gave a soft smile, the dude needs a lot of self-steem but once he starts boxing he will be the strongest, while we walked to the charts I though... 'I don't want to keep him being bullied, Umezawa is one of the best friends of Ippo, but if I interfere in that Ippo may not discover boxing or the determination to become a pro boxer, he needs to change but how...

"I'm in 2-A and you?"

"Well let me see, Tsuyoshi... tsuyoshi oh here I am, also on 2-A, that means we're classmates let's go"

we ventured into the school, and easily found our class, everything went fastforward, we presented to the class, the director gave a speech, and we find about our teacher in charge, some girls talked with me and I saw Ippo at the middle of the classroom, definitely not in the protagonist spot, that was mine, I sit by the window.

At the end of the class, some kids talked about going to some burguers or karaoke I was invited and I told Ippo to come with us, but he said he had to help his mother with the boats, I change my mind in that moment and told the people I will accompany my new friend to see whats so interesting about a fishing boat, some of them laugh but it was in good faith.

"do you really want to go with me" asked the short muscle dude.

"Sure why not, my Dad has already been there, he may be a regular and you don't know, also I want to know you, sure Karaoke its fun, but I don't think I have a good voice for that kind of entertainment, also I need to practice some songs before I go there right" I said it, while we carried our stuff, I heard a 'BING' out of nowhere, I turned my head to both sides, but apparently Ippo didn't heard it.

We talked about his place, and I talk to him about my family, and about how my big bro was the best. 'These memories are weird, I can recall and have feelings for my family even If I know I just meet them... weird' BING.

"did you heard that"

"huh? what thing?"

"IPPO Yo yo!!!"

"Ah Umezawa-kun go ahead" Ippo went outside the road.

Did this happened that fast? I though it was at least on second week, damn I have no time.

"Huuh? Who's the new guy?"

I took a step forward, I was a bit taller than him "The name's Sora, are you also a friend of Ippo, we are going to help his Mom to the fishing boat, want to come?" I extended my hand to shake.

"Huh? haah? Who want to g..." I grabbed his hand and crushed it a little. "Ouch O-ou-Ita Ouch!!!"

"Please U-Me-Za-Wa-Kun I insist" I offered him a really scary smile.

But he was an idiot, he pushed me and shout to his two goons.

"Attack him"

Ippo dashed in front of me with a good speed. "Please Umezawa-kun he doens't have anything to do with this"

"Shut up worm boy, this is personal" Umezawa shouted with a lot of saliva... Ew.

"Yeah Ippo stay out of this" 'BING' damn what was that?!

I raised my hands, I may not be a boxer in this life, but I recall all my matches and this boy couldn't stand before me, also Ippo needs someone to look for and I could be the one.

"hah you think you're a boxer?" goon 1 talked

"Hahahaha, try something idiot" goon 2 trashed

I just sighed in my mind, this will be easy. I moved inside the uncordinated punches of them, pulling the buttons of their jacket with my hands just like Takamura did in the original story. I bypassed to the back of the three idiots and smirked when I turned my back to look at them.

"what are you smiling for? You're just fast we... huh?" Umezawa's mouth was wide open.

I just opened my hands and let him look at the buttons, "Do you want them back?"

The three of them made a scared face and turned to run but they crashed into a Giant.

"Yo, three versus one and you lost?, you're pathetic"

My eyes were stars and I blurted "Takamura?, Mamoru Takamura the unbeated eagle of Japan?"

"Hehehehe, it appears people start to recognize me in the streets, in the flesh kid, so which Gym are you in?"

"Gym?"

"Yeah where are you training for your license"

"Oh, WE don't have a gym yet, and I just train for hobby, I didn't considerate to get a Pro-license, but If you recomend a place for both of us we can train together"

"W-W-We? Tsuyoshi-san what are you talking about? I can't enter a Gym, I'm not a boxer"

"Huh? so... are you going to bodybuilding?"

"Bodybu... what?" Ippo seemed confused.

"Dude, you're ripped, are you telling me you don't do sports? I can smell your talent aura!, you don't believe me? Takamura-san can you test him?, show him how to throw a punch"

Meanwhile Umezawa was in the floor, he was not a complete fool, of course he knew about takamura, he loved boxing and when the new guy, said his complete name he remembered, this guy was a Beast, 'I just need to keep quiet and let the monster go away' he thought.

"I'm busy kiddo"

"Hmm ok, how about you let us accompany you to the roadwork, If at least one of us can get to the finish line with you, can you test both of us?"

"Hahahaha Deal kid, but If you don't get to the finish line, both of you will be paying for my meals for two weeks, Deal?"

"Yeah it's not a bad bet, what are you going to do Makunouchi?"

Ippo looked at the amazed Umezawa and then to the two people standing up, he needed to go to the boat and help his mother but he still had at leats two hours prior, also Tsuyoshi-san was his first friend, he defended him, and also invited him, and always said we, never only him.

"Yes, I- I'll go with you guys"

Takamura made an evil smile "DEAL muahahaha" and he dashed out of the place.

"Ippo what are we waiting for RUN!!!"

'BING'

"Huh? Yes" 

both of us Ran to catch Takamura.

"What just happened?"

"Dude that was scary, do you think Ippo is going to be a boxer"

"Damn... if that monster train him, he may..." Goon 2 said

"Let's just... go to the arcade" Umezawa put a hand on his knee and stand up.
