Three hours, and more coffee than any of them liked to think about, later each of them had read all the files. Now they were ready to compare notes.

Vance booted up the computer then turned to Rico. “You did bring the…”

“Yeah, yeah.” Rico opened the toolkit and took out a flash drive, handing it to Vance.

Once he’d inserted it in the USB port and did what was necessary to keep his work secure, he opened a blank document, and began typing in the notes they’d made. “Who taught you to write, Rico, a chicken?” he grumbled at one point.

Rico ignored the comment. He’d heard it or something like it before, and knew he would hear it again in the future. Roger defended him, saying, “At least his brains aren’t as scrambled.”

“Thank God,” Vance muttered. He finished, and called the others over. He’d listed each of their comments in separate columns so it was easier to compare them.

“Eliminate any singles,” Roger suggested.
