Rejected
When Marinette was finally able to return to school, she didn't get the welcome back she expected. The school either glared at her, snickered, or whispered to the person next to them. She saw most of the girls in her class, including Alya following Chloe around.
She walked to class humiliated and scared of what would happen next. As she sat in her seat, she saw the class grouping around Chloe laughing at the picture that she had taken of her in the tent. She slammed her head into her arms, afraid of the class.
"So, Mari-Trash, I hope you enjoy your new friends. Guess what their names are, poor and homeless."Chloe jeered. Marinette didn't even acknowledge that she was talking to her, she just kept her head inside her arms while quietly sobbing.
Adrien walked in to see Marinette with her head in her arms. He walked over to her seat, to replace Alya's unoccupied seat. "Mari, what's wrong?" "Oh, she's just fine, just... homeless." Chloe laughed. "What do you mean, homeless?" Adrien said glaring at Chloe while Marinette still had her head in her arms.
"You didn't know, her house was robbed, and now the poor little girl has nowhere to stay."Chloe said in a fake sad tone, then laughed. "As soon as she said that, Marinette stood up without lifting her head up, and slammed her hands down on the desk, surprising everyone.
The tears were falling to the table. "I-I have had, JUST ABOUT ENOUGH OF YOU!!!"Marinette screamed at Chloe, finally looking at her with bloodshot eyes and her eyes filled with tears. "Chloe didn't do anything wron-."Mylene said.
"YOU'RE WRONG!! SHE'S TAKEN EVERYTHING AWAY FROM ME!! SHE JUST HAD TO MAKE MY LIFE MISERABLE!!! SHE'S TAKEN EVERYTHING FROM ME AND...AND... I'M SICK OF IT!!!!"Marinette's yells became louder and full of grief and sadness.
"But you posted those pictures of us."Kim said. "Is that what you think? IS THAT WHAT YOU THINK?!?! I've known all of you forever, you should know me better than that. But I guess I'm just another Chloe... aren't I?" She said quietly. Then she grabbed her things and walked out of the room of dumbfounded people.

Marinette again sat alone on the steps of the school ignoring the people who snickered or jeered at her. Then Adrien came to sit by her. "I never knew you could yell at a person."Adrien said. "I-I-I didn't mean to. I-I'm sorry I-I-I didn't mean for you to experience that."
"You sound like you're my mom. It's fine, I think you had a right to express your feelings." Not all of them. Marinette thought. "What do you mean not all of them?" Uh-oh, I must have said that aloud by accident. "Uh...nothing." She said innocently as possible.
"Don't lie to me, friends don't lie to each other. You can tell me." "I-Uh-I... Ihaveacrushonyou ." "What?" Then Marinette sighed. "I wanted to do this at a more convenient time but... I have a crush on you Adrien, ever since you apologized for the gum incident, I fell in love with you."
There was a few moments of silence. "I'm sorry, Marinette, but... I like someone else. I hope we can still be friends though." "No, No it's alright, I don't know why anybody would like me. I'm...fine."She said with a fake smile. "Okay, I have to go. I'll see you tomorrow and I really am sorry."
"I'm fine, you just get home, I'll...be fine. Besides as long as I'm smiling I'm fine." She said with a sad smile. "Bye." "Yeah, bye." Adrien got in his limo and it drove off. "That was pathetic." A voice said behind her. "Hello, Chloe."
"You're right, why would anybody like you? I was surprised that Nathaniel even liked you. You're just a poor girl." Marinette looked up at her with tears in her eyes. "Aw, is the sad, homeless girl going to cry." Then she laughed as Sabrina followed. Then Marinette ran off crying as she went.
