Swishing sounds erupted as Logic endured a barrage of attacks from Daniel from all sides despite being unable to see where his opponent was coming from.

"Water is formless, just like this secret technique. Now, you eat shit!" With Logic's back turned against him, Daniel aimed his rapier at Logic's thick armor before he charged forward with all his might.

Just as the ice rapier was about to hit the armor, Daniel quickly manipulated the ice and transformed it into a hammer.

With that, he smashed the back of Logic's turtle armor with the blunt weapon with incredible force, caving his friend's armor in.

"Gah! So you were behind me!" Surprised by Daniel's sneak attack, Logic shouted in annoyance.

But before he could retaliate, Daniel had disappeared into thin air again.

This in turn made Logic reveal an annoyed look. 'Tch, this magic bastard is being too shameless here. How am I supposed to fight something that attacks me from all sides?'

Then it hit him.

With a wave of his hand, he manipulated the metal elements in the air to repair his damaged armor.

Following that, he clasped his hands together before he murmured something under his breath.

The ground started shaking for a moment before a series of metal spikes rose out from the ground and formed a spiky terrain with Logic's turtle shell in the middle.

Curious, Daniel stopped in his tracks to look at Logic's terrain change. He then glanced at the other angels and saints with a confused look.

Phoenix, along with Zac, Fang, Vigor and Carlos too, were confused by their friend's retaliation.

'Does Logic think he can stop Daniel's formless attacks by adding spikes to the floor?' Everyone thought in unison. 'Seems pointless, no?'

But just then, Logic manipulated and transformed his armor into a giant cannon with him as the cannon ball.

"32 Battle God Techniques, First Technique! Meteor Rush!" With the barrel aimed at the confused Daniel, Logic balled his fists and shouted.

"Boom!" Within the next moment, Logic had shot himself at his friend while wearing a smile on his face.

So by the time Daniel reacted, Logic had already entered his area of combat and had already thrown out a punch towards his face.

But before Logic's punch could connect with his face, Daniel revealed a joking smile as he clasped his hands and turned into water again.

Because as long as there were water elements in the air, he was quite literally invincible. Or so he thought.

It was the moment after Daniel had turned into water that Logic unfurled his wings and decided to fly towards the open space above them.

With a wave of his hand, the countless metal spikes that surrounded his giant cannon rose from the ground and started to orbit around him.

"Oho? So that was his plan."

"Interesting, interesting. Very interesting."

"To think that Logic would exploit a loophole in the rules. Well played."

The angels and saints who were watching the spar between their friends nodded their heads in acknowledgement upon seeing Logic's moves.

With the countless metal spikes orbiting Logic, Daniel will have a hard time attacking him while trying to dodge the metal spikes.

It wasn't a great strategy, but it was enough to buy Logic time to prepare himself for a following counter attack.

As for the Saint of Salt, Daniel stared at Logic for a brief moment before he got to work himself.

With the fabled chantless magic, Daniel flew towards Logic silently. When he was near enough, Daniel placed a series of magic circles above Logic's head while trying not to blow his cover.

Within a cup of tea's time, Daniel had managed to stack tens of 9th circle magic on his friend's head.

He then backed up from Logic as much as possible.

With a snap of his fingers, every 9th circle magic placed above Logic's head activated in unison.

What followed next was the screams of pain from a century old angel named Logic.

"Thor's Wrath, Poseidon's Rage, Hellfire, Purgatory, Endless Rain, Black Lightning, Dragon's Breath, and Meteor Shower? Oh boy, Daniel has gone out with his attacks." Upon seeing the downpour of high class magic spells falling onto Logic mercilessly, Phoenix could only smile wryly.

It was already a one sided battle when Daniel activated his ultimate movement technique, Earth Swallowing Wave. But to think that he would add fuel to the flames and destroy Logic in one fell swoop.

Phoenix, along with the other angels and saints were stunned speechless.

To them, despite knowing that an angel has superior regeneration capabilities compared to saints, it was still overkill for Daniel to unleash his magic on Logic like that.

What if Logic develops a heart demon after this defeat? That would be bad since a heart demon was something that could fuck a cultivator up immensely.

In the worst case scenario, Logic would give in to his heart demon and become a fallen angel. The group of angels and saints want to avoid it if possible.

After all, if Logic became a fallen angel, they were responsible to kill him before he tries to wreak havoc on the residents of Heaven.

Alas, their worries were unneeded.

With the high regenerative capabilities of an angel, Logic took the full brunt of Daniel's attack and walked out fine.

It was only then did the group notice that Logic was wearing armor this whole time.

"Is…Is that a thin layer of holy iron covering your chest and shoulders?" A tall and muscular angel with black wavy hair and golden brown wings widened his eyes and asked.

"Why yes it is. Did you all think that I wouldn't be prepared for Daniel's attack? Heh, all of you underestimate me too much! I feel hurt." Logic nodded his head before he furrowed his brows and made a sad face.

Seeing this, the muscular angel called Zac, let out a big laugh. He really wanted to punch Logic's face after seeing it.

On the other hand, Phoenix let out a sigh of relief after he realized that Logic was safe and sound.

Following that, Phoenix turned towards Daniel and said, "Please don't use such heavy spells against a friend, okay? What would you do if Logic were to develop a heart demon after the fight? Would you be able to bear the grunt of having to kill your friend?"

Daniel, on the other hand, simply shrugged his shoulders in response. He then said, "If it comes down to it? Yes, I would be able to kill Logic. After all, it would have been his fault if he really succumbed to his own heart demon. Only the strong deserve to stand among us retainers, Phoenix. Remember that."
