Chapter 6.

A few days later,Nick and Zhakari woke up then took breakfast with Mr. and Mrs.Maire then after were driven to school by Luke because they were late and the bus had left them.When they arrived to school it was revision time for two periods so everyone was doing their own thing with about only a handful revising.

The group which comprised of Nick,Ned,Oscar,Ron and Dickson were chatting about what abilities they would want to have if they were superheroes."I would want the super ability of mind and memory reading.",Ron said.Oscar then proudly said"I would want the super ability of Flying,then i could give any girl i like a ride home."

Dickson with a sigh said"Womanizer,I would want the super ability of telekinesis."Ned looked up in thought then said with a smirk while looking at Dickson"I would want the super ability of controlling souls,i would be nigh invincible."Nick who was sitting to his left looked at him in shock then composed himself and said"I would want the super ability of blue fire,then i could incinerate all that i want."

"Woah dude,if i didn't know any better i'd think your a super villain or something cause of how you're sounding.",said Oscar with an unsure voice and abit of a freaked out look on his face."Well that aside i joined the Drama Club,what clubs did you guys join?",Ned said as Nick answered"The Archery Club" followed by Dickson who answered"Me and Ron both joined the Tabletennis Club".

They all then looked at Oscar and he said"I tried out for the Soccer Club but horribly failed and after tried out the Literature Club and found out i was good at it so joined."They then talked about other trivial matters as their double 'revision' period was over so they studied other lessons then went for recess,back to class then lunch time and after back to class.When the day was over,they all went home but when Nick opened his door,he found a scroll on his bed.

Nick started reading the scroll which was in egyptian hieroglyphics which he could understand thanks to Alice's own scroll.It read"Hello SoulRipper.It is BlueSmoker,captain of your squad in the Infiltration sector and i have a mission for you.You are to come to headquarters and be trained,Alice will give you the needed details.You will be training with me for your weekends or there will be punishment.I will train you for a period of 2 to 6 months depending on how you progress.I will help you turn into who you once were whether you like it or not.I WILL NOT BE DEFIED!!!"

Nick was surprised about the letter's contents as he was being forced to train by his former captain but decided to ask Alice about it tomorrow.When he arrived to school the next day,he waited till recess then he went to Zhakari's classroom where he saw his cousin and the girl who he had found crying in the janitor's room and walked up to Alice's seat which was being crowded by some boys trying to flirt with her.He grabbed her by the wrist then said"We need to talk now,Alice."

Alice with a knowing look said"So you got the scroll i presume?"and Nick with an angered face said"So you knew about it didn't you?"and she answered"Ofcourse i did,remember i outrank you."Nick rolled his eyes then pulled her away from her chair and dragged her away out of the classroom and into the field to talk.

"I'll get straight to the point,what happens if i don't follow BlueSmoker's request?",Nick asked Alice as she smiled with a devious look and said"No,no,no,you are mistaken it's not a request,remove the re from request and that's what it is."Nick looked confused and asked her"Are you trying to tell me that training me is his quest?"Alice had a somewhat fascinated expression as she replied"Ofcourse it is,training one of The Dark's vice captains who has lost his memories and supposedly his abilities is an honor and some members actually fought for the opportunity but BlueSmoker being your captain was the one who got the opportunity not that he wanted it."

Nick sighed exasperatedly with an annoyed look on his face and asked"So where is the headquarters?" and Alice moved her hand towards herself as he came closer and she pulled him close then whispered the place in his ear."Got it,today is Wednesday so i guess i'll ask permission from my uncle and aunt then be there by Friday."

"That's alright but be punctual because otherwise you're training might be hell 101",Alice said as she chuckled and continued with a shit eating face"Then again that may be fun to see,who knows i might join in."Nick had a terrified look on his face as he quickly moved away from Alice and said"Well anyway see you."

"Wait hold on,one of my classmates told me to tell you that you should meet with her in the cafeteria at lunch time,she was the one sitting next to the window in my classroom with blonde hair.",Alice said then continued looking jokeful"So you've already got admirers,i'm jealous."

"She's definitely not an admirer,more like a person that wants to keep my mouth shut.",Nick said."Well she is usually tough and pays no attention to boys so i wish you good fortune with her",Alice said."Thank you but i won't need it.",Nick responded.They both went their different ways and took their break meals with their friends then went back to class where they studied then after three periods,it was finally lunchtime.

Nick went to the cafeteria and got his lunch which was 4 circular pieces of ham,spaghetti,sauce and a meat on a stick.When he finished get his meal,he looked for the girl who he found sitting at a table alone.He walked there and sat down directly across her and she said"I'm guessing you know why i called you here?" and Nick nodded."Well then if you know you'd better keep your mouth shut but that's not the only reason i called you here."

"So what is this other reason?",Nick asked her curiously.She looked at him seriously and said"The Principal told me that he would ask you to tutor me but i would like to ask you in person,so will you?"and Nick replied"Sure only if you promise that you'll tell me why you were crying either now or when you get results."The girl then took his hand in hers and shaked it"Okay then deal,i will tell you when i get to see results."

"By the way my name's Sabrina,what's yours?"and Nick responded"Nick,nice to meet you but i've got to get to my friends so see you later."The girl now known as Sabrina waved bye to him as they both went to sit with their friends.

As the gang was going to class,the hallway speakers sounded"Nick Alexander,Nick Alexander report to the Principal's Office."Ned looked surprised and said"Damnnnnnn dude,getting in trouble in when it hasn't even been a week since your first day."Oscar elbowed Ned in the ribs getting a shriek of pain from him then started to looked worried and asked"So what did you do Nick?" and he replied"Don't worry,i'm not in any trouble."then he walked to the principal's office and knocked"Knock,Knock,Knock" and he heard the principal's voice say"Come in" and he entered then took a sit.

"Mr.Principal Sabrina already told me why you've called me here",Nick said respectfully."Oh i suppose she did and please just Principal or Sir.",The Principal stated at which Nick nodded.He continued"Well it is still also about that,Sabrina is an intelligent girl but when it comes to her studies,she doesn't seem very smart."

"It is true that she has a somewhat strong personality but deep down she is very caring and kind and i'm not only saying this because she's my daughter.",The Principal said as Nick was surprised at the news"So she is your daughter?",and the Principal replied"Mhm but don't get alarmed by the news,whether or not you tutor her is your decision and nothing will change for you if you say no."

Nick was glad to know that the principal had enough compassion not to force him to and said"Yes thank you for that Sir,I've already talked to her about it and agreed."The Principal suddenly looked joyful and said"Thank you so much Nick,i'm grateful to you."The Principal then hugged Nick who was shocked by the embrace but surprisingly wasn't uncomfortable with it.The Principal broke off the hug then told Nick"Well i'm sorry for keeping you here all this time,you may get back to class and again thank you,i know my daughter will be in good hands."Nick nodded then opened the door,walked out and closed it.

After that he went back to class and was scolded for being late to class even though the principal had called him.He told his friends who had been bugging him about why he was with Sabrina the situation which was that he was going to tutor her then had some time to think about some things.

When class was over,he said bye to his friends then went to his cousin's class who had also just finished studying to talk to Alice.He walked over to her sit as students were walking out of the classroom door and said"I need to ask you some questions about my predicament."Alice sighed and said"I knew this was coming sooner or later then she stood up and said"Let's go,it's a long story."

As he was going to follow her,he felt someone hold his shoulder and when he looked to see who it was,he saw that it was Sabrina."What are the details of our tutorship?" and he replied"We'll talk about them tomorrow at recess,have a good rest of the day."Sabrina nodded and said"You too,see you tomorrow."

Nick asked Zhakari if he could wait for him for abit before they went home and he said that it was cool then he went off to talk with Alice.They went into the Main hall and she asked him"So what do you want to know?" and he replied"Everything."
