1 Back at the past
Somewhere in China in front of the Law enforcement department a middle aged man was looking outside the station then his eyes swept the area and he notices a person sleeping at the darkest part of the station so he stood up and went outside he walked and approached the person sleeping because the the place was too dark he turn on his flash light and then he check the face of the person, When he saw the face of the person sleeping he got a little surprise because it was a young man so he decided to wake him up he felt pity for the young man he was shaking from cold while asleep.
" Young Man wake up." The middle aged officer tried to wake him up but the young man just grunted so he tried to shake him this time. " Young Man wake up you can't sleep here like that what if something happen to you."
"wait i'm still sleepy" The middle aged man looked at Chen Fan with a confused look and thought ' If you don't want your sleep to get disrupted you should sleep in your house or in a hotel do you i'm trying to be nice to you here' But he did not say it to the Young Man
The Suddenly the middle aged man saw that the young man suddenly stood up and then he looked a the Middle aged man then he look around with a confused look then he check his body then he look at the middle aged man again. " You're Officer Zhou." The middle aged man look at Chen Fan he did not recognize his face so why did this kid knows him but he did not ask he help many people while doing his work so he thought that maybe Chen Fan was one of the people he helped before.
" Why are you checking your body like i did something to you, Go inside the station you can sleep there it's not good for your body to be sleeping outside, Where are you from young man." The Officer asked him in a serious tone.
" Oh i'm from the Old orphanage at the outskirt of the City officer." Chen Fan lied to the Officer after he calm down he can finally think even if everything was a mysterious to him he did show it so he tried to act calm the officer nodded to him and asked him again.
" Then why are you here instead of the Orphanage?"
" I chose to leave the Orphanage officer and i'm here at the City to try my luck i have a friend here at the City and i'm looking for him." Chen Fan lied again and thought ' If it's the past someone i know will be coming to this station today this is also the day we first met' The Officer nodded at Chen Fan then he walked at the direction of the entrance
Chen Fan looked at the Officer walking away and then he look at his body again to check if he has a wound or something on his body but he did not see any wound or bruises.
' Did i really came back from the past? " Chen Fan said to himself then he take a deep breath to calm himself then he heard the Officer talking to him again he's at the door of the station
"Hey! kid are you going to follow me or not" The Middle aged man officer said while looking at Chen Fan weirdly.
"Yes sir. " Chen fan remembered that it was 1992 the year he run away from the Orphanage to live his life freely.
' How the F**k did this happen is that even possible or is this the after life, Whatever let's just go with the flow for the meantime if Shaochen show up at the station today and drunk i will believe that i really came back from the past.'
Chen fan follow officer Zhou inside of the police station and all the officer was looking at him Chen still remembered that this people is the officers who help him before officer Zhou let him stay at his house he used to sleep inside this station when he can't afford to rent a room Chen Fan heard the Officer calling him again,
" Young Man come here." Chen Fan followed Officer Zhou at the interrogation room of the station this is the warmest place in the station that's why the officer brought him inside the interrogation room.
Chen Fan sat at the chair in front of the table and then he smiled and caressed his head the officer saw him and he shake his head before talking to Chen Fan again " Don't worry i'm going to interrogate you here, This is the most warmest place at the Station that's why we're here, Wait for a while let me get you something to eat you stomach won't stop rumbling." Chen Fan caressed his stomach when he heard him because of the shock he felt the moment he woke up he did not notice that he was hungry, The Officer walked out of the room Chen Fan look at the Officer going outside then he take a deep breath again ' Is this really the past i can't still believe this' Chen Fan was in deep silent and Officer Zhou entered the room again and he saw that Chen Fan did not notice him so he placed a bowl of noddles in front of him to get his attention and his plan work Chen Fan look at the bowl in front of then he look at the Officer and at the bowl again the officer laugh at his reaction.
" Young man eat that noodles before it gets cold that's the only available food here at the station if you want water there is a water outside just get it yourself." Officer Zhou walked out of the room after saying that to Chen Fan and before Officer Zhou totally got outside the office another officer showed up and then the officer looked inside then he saw Chen Fan Officer Zhou look at the other officer then he leave the room totally.
Chen Fan look at the face of the young officer and recognize him it was Officer Lin he used to treat Chen Fan to a meal before and then he remembered that it was exactly what happen at his previous life. " It looks like i'm really at the past is this a chance given to me by the Buddha or those so called god."
Officer Lin did not stay at the room inside for too long he left right away after looking at Chen Fan while Chen Fan was busy eating the big bowl of noodles the door opened again and Officer Lin entered the room with a drunk young man, Chen Fan smirked everything that happened did also happen on his previous life and then he go with the flow of what happen he remembered that he offered a noodles to Shaochen but this time he needs to change something he needs a place to stay and Shaochen was the answer to his problem.
"Do you want to have some hot noodles?" Chen Fan said smiling widely Shaochen look at Chen Fan and then he smiled
" No thank you, you should eat that little brother you look like you're still hungry." Shaochen said he saw how thin Chen Fan but he smiled the young man infront of him did not look like a rude person.
"May i know your name Big brother?" Chen Fan started his plan if he remember correctly Shaochen was very soft in heart
"I'm Song Shaochen you what's your name kid?" said by Shaochen
"my name is Chen fan" After introducing their name the continued talking about some nonsense stuff and Shaochen did not mind it he find himself comfortable talking to Chen Fan and when their talk is getting personal he tried to ask Chen Fan something again serious.
" Chen Fan why are you inside the interrogation room you don't look like a drunk did you do something bad that's why you're here at the station?" Shaochen looked Chen Fan reaction and he Chen Fan's innocent face smiling at him
"No No! it's not like that i was sleeping outside the police station and one of the officer ask me to come inside and they gave me this noodles" Shaochen caressed his back head he felt embarrassed for asking such a stupid question Chen Fan was eating happily inside and there are no Officer guarding him so why did he ask such an obvious question this kid looks too innocent to become a criminal,
" Oh so it's like that why are you sleeping outside there are cheap motels near the station you can sleep there instead outside the weather was not good for people sleeping outside." Shaochen said then he saw Chen Fan changing his expression and looks like he hit a sore spot he was about to say somthing when he hear Chen Fan started talking again,
" I was an Orphan and i don't have the money to sleep at a Motel or hotel." Chen Fan started his plan to act pitifully in front of Shaochen
" Then why did you not go back at the Orphanage." Shaochen said
" I don't want to go back there me and some children started running away the life at the Orphanage was hard we need to do some labor work for the entire day so we can eat a bread the Children that are older than me told me that we can't stay there anymore so we run away." Chen Fan plan was doing a good work he saw Shaochen looking at him pitifully
" It's good that you run away those people will just take advantage of you they will only show some kindness when there are other people looking at them." Chen Fan was secretly smiling widely he kept his silence to make it look more pitifully and his plan did not fail him when he Shaochen talking again.
"You know Chen you can come with me later, i have a small apartment at the downtown you can stay with me for a while until you save some money for yourselves, it will be better living with other it's lonely living alone in the city" Chen Fan was feeling a little guilt inside his heart he did not want to do this but he has no choice.
Chen fan thought this Shaochen didn't change at all he's still the kind person that he met from his previous life. The door at the room suddenly open and someone came in
"Kid here is some blanket that you can use later officer Zhou was patrolling now he said after you're done eating go take a shower first before you go to sleep ill lend you my clothes at the locker room." said by Officer Lin.
"Thank you Officer Lin for your kindness" Chen fan said to Officer Lin and he just smiled at him and said nothing he just walked out of the room" Shaochen stood up and Chen Fan followed him outside he was going to the kitchen to wash the bowl of noodles and to take some water Shaochen was talking to the officers that he's already sobered and the officer look at him and after some scolding the Officer told him he can go now.
After washing the Bowl at the Kitchen he saw Shaochen standing and told him that they can go to his apartment now, Chen Fan looked at the Open door of the interrogation room and he saw the Blanket that the Officer gave to him he went inside the room and he fold the blanket then he walked at the Young Officer Lin and he explained that he's going with his friend now.
"Thank you for the food Officer Lin i will be going now i will stay at my friend's house for the time being." Officer Lin nodded to him he already heard from Officer Zhou what happen to this Young Man but he did not agree right away just to be sure if something bad happen to this young man Officer Zhou will scold him.
"That drunk young man was a friend of mine i've been looking for him for days." After Chen Fan is done explaining some things Officer agreed that the both can go now.
"OK! be careful you two on your way home. Hey! young man don't bully Chen Fan at your home..Chen fan if there's a problem you can just come here at the station and tell us. " Chen fan smiled and answered Officer Lin
"Thank you for your worries Officer Lin but brother Song was a nice man he won't bully me" Chen Fan said smiling at the Officer he felt grateful and how lucky he was.
"Thank you Officers for your hospitality we will take our leave now thank you again."
After they leave the police station the two went to walk while talking for about 30minutes and the they did notice that they arrived at a small rundown building that looks like a hunted house the building was so Old and the the alleyway was too dark everything in this place was too dark there is some street lamp but it can cover the whole street.
"You live in this place brother Song?" Shaochen laugh at Chen Fan reaction this is also what happen to him when he first came to this place.
"Yes Don't worry after living here for a year you will get used to this place too. HAHA." While Chen Fan was looking at Shaochen laughing at his reaction he smiled.
