Chapter 4: Truth or Dare

19 July. It was Kevin's birthday. The entire Herbert Mansion was in utmost happiness. Kevin's father, Patrick Herbert, he planned on organizing an evening party like every year to celebrate his birthday in which all his extremely rich business partners and their whole family will be invited.

The alarm rang. Kevin got up from his bed quickly, there was no need for the servants to wake him up on his birthday because it was an only day he woke up every year early in the morning. He got ready for university and went downstairs to have breakfast.

As soon as he went down his mother, Raelyn Herbert, came to him and hugged him.

"Happy birthday momma's sweet little baby!".She kissed him on his cheek affectionately.

"Thank you mom!".He kissed her back on cheek. Both of them smiled at each other hugged for a while then went to the dining room for having breakfast together where his father was waiting for him without starting his meal.

"Happy Birthday dear".He said and gave a loving smile to Kevin.

"Thank you dad!"

As the three of them were done with their breakfast, Kevin took his bag and wished his parents a good day, then he went outside to ride on his brand new lamborghini to the university which his father gifted him today. As he walked through the main entrance of the mansion all the servants were standing on either sides of the entrance then all of them together, politely wished him birthday. By being grateful, he replied a heartfelt gratitude to them all.

Kevin got inside his shiny red lamborghini and drove to the university. Soon he reached there. All eyes were on his lambo. Even before he could open the door of his lambo and get outside, girls crowded around him and wished him birthday. All of them were drooling over him and showered him with branded gifts and chocolates. Kevin tried to escape from them but got trapped, the girls were not ready to let go of him.

As he was expecting someone to help him, two familiar hands held onto both of his hands from that crowd and pulled him strongly. He closed his eyes.

When he opened his eyes, he saw that it were Lucas and Eric who saved him.

"Are you okay Kevin?!"

"Yeah! Did they do somethin to you?!"

Both of them asked him, being worried.

"C'mon, I'm all fine, but now, we all are in danger, because if these girls saw all of us three together...y'know what's gonna happen?!"

"Clearly!".They chuckled. Both of them held onto his hand and ran to one of the classrooms. All the classrooms were empty, because the first bell didn't rang yet. They went inside a classroom and closed the door. Kevin was panting heavily.

Eric who doesn't like anyone to touch his towel even accidentally, miraculously handed it to Kevin for wiping his face, then Lucas gave Kevin, his most favorite soft drink, which he bought for himself to drink for gaining some energy before the class.

"By the way, I forgot! Happy Birthday Kevi-Kevi!"

"Oh yes! Happy Birthday Kevin!"

Lucas hugged him after wishing. Eric's eyes wide opened. He was burning with jealousy inside.

"Thanks Luke! Thanks Eric!"

Kevin looked at Eric and he saw that he was glaring at both of them as Lucas was hugging him, he was confused because he wasn't aware that Eric had feelings for him.

Eric madly went closer and pulled them apart."Luke, let him get some air y'know! He's literally draining from tip to toe!"

Lucas said nothing and moved apart from him because he didn't want to make a mess on his birthday. It was all silent for a while, but then Kevin spoke.

"Dude! You both are comin to my party in evening, aren't you?"

"Yup Kevi-Kevi! For sure!"

"Of course! I'll come!"

"That's awesome then!!". Kevin beamed. "Okay, so now I'm goin to the classroom, aren't you both comin?"

"I'm comin". Lucas said by glaring at Eric. He quickly held Kevin's hand and was about to walk past him to the classroom, but Kevin stopped him and asked Eric to join them. Eric rushed toward him, then held on his other hand. He smirked when he saw Lucas's annoyed face.

"Shall we go now?" Eric asked to Kevin like a gentleman.

"Yeah! Sure!"

EVENING PARTY AT HERBERT MANSION

The Herbert Mansion was entirely decorated luxuriously. All his father's really wealthy business partners were assembled including Bruce family and Stanley family. Everyone were looking elegant and sophisticated. The party started, then Kevin made a fascinating entry on the party. All eyes in the party gazed at him with enchant. He wore a dark black suit and gleaming pair of darken shoes, which expended millions.

All the girls in the party wore their best to impress him, one by one all of them approached him and wished him birthday and he gratefully thanked them but then as they were about to take a step forward, he ignored them without having a clue of their efforts and went to Lucas and Eric.

Lucas and Eric were gazing at Kevin from the moment he made his exquisite entry into the party. They were at the bar, sipping wine together standing opposite of each other on the front bar.

"Yo Dude! What's up with you two?! Why're you standing like this?"

Kevin went to Eric and grabbed his hand then he took him to where Lucas was standing.

"So! What're we gonna do now? Hm?!" Kevin asked exitedly.

Lucas thought for a while then suddenly he said "Shall we play truth or dare?". He smirked and looked at Eric who was giving a frowned look to him.

"Truth or Dare?!".Kevin asked him dubiously.

"Yup! Why not somethin different?!"

"Exactly! Somethin different! That's what I want! You know me super well Luke, y'know!"

"Of course I do Kevi-Kevi"

"Then, what're we waiting for, let's start the game!"

Eric reluctantly agreed to both of them. Lucas took an empty wine bottle on the front bar and spinned it. After a while, the bottle stopped spinning. The tip of the bottle came right across Eric!
