3 Campus tour

Upon entering the lecture hall, Edward has settled down to sit on the third row beside the window; minutes have passed the lecturer finally comes in and joins the class. The lecturer introduced himself and began to teach,

"I don't get this…."

Edward muttered to himself as he listened to the professor lecturing phycology; the topic was habits and human behaviour. The lecture then switched the issue to smoking, explaining why it is terrible.

He listened to this and then asked, "Did the old man intentionally choose this course for me?" looking around, Edward was surprised to see some students asleep, without the lecturer scolding them.

Edward tries to fall asleep but is thrown a calk at his face by the professor, who clears his throat. And said,

"You there, mister, if you mind falling asleep not in my class!"

"R-Right…"

Edward then regained himself, trying not to fall asleep, as he glanced back at the student who was sleeping a while ago and was now holding their laughter as they looked at Edward.

Twenty minutes went by; finally, Edward got his short break and got out of the lecturing hall towards the canteen. He waits up. The man picks out foods on the counter and places them on the plate he grabbed from the counter.

Many hungry students started to form a line as they picked out their choice of meal. After picking out what they want, they go to the counter and pay for their chosen meal.

Edward pays up and goes out to find a table to eat his meal. after a while, he sees someone familiar, they have blonde hair on their head, and it is Auryan; he raises his hand and looks at Edward, telling him to come over to his table.

Edward decided to join him at his table, as the canteen goes crowded, the two talked as they ate their meal,

"Thanks for saving me a seat," Edward said as he thanked Auryan, "No problem; we got to have to help each other from Time to time."

"Anyhow, what do you got there?' Edward said as he glanced over Auryan's tray to see a beef & tuna sandwich next to small pieces of melted cheese on the scrambled eggs.

"Looks taste I'm not going to like; this place sure knows how to cook food, really well." Edward took a bite from his sandwich.

"Oh yeah, I forgot to ask what year are you on Auryan?"

"Second year, same as you,"

He reapplied back to Edward. The two talked as they finished their meal before leaving the canteen and went on their separate ways; before Auryan could leave, Edward called to him and said.

"Hey, Auryan, do you know where's the biology class?" Edward asked without direction, "Just go down in that hall and turn left, and you'll see it yourself." Auryan gave Edward the advice of the classroom

"Ah, I see, thanks,"

"Yeah… anytime, hey Edward, do you have something else to do after class? If so, do you want do want me to give you a tour of the campus?"

Aryan then gives him a suggestion to Edward, he then agrees, and the two finally go on to their perspective classes.

The time is 4:54 PM

In the afternoon, after class, as Edward steps outside of t the building, he then saw auryan leaning on to wall waiting for him; his eyes gaze on as Edward approaches him, and the two nod at each other,

"All right, so you're done with all of your class."

"Yeah, I have nothing else to do, by the way; what is this place."

Edward asked as he pointed at the building where they were heading,

"This place is home to many club rooms; let us go inside with this one."

"This is cool, but I'm not interested in⸺."

Auryan walks in and then pushes Edward inside. Few students greeted them when they entered the room while listening to one person at the podium.

What is this place? Edward asked, "This place is the Debate club; they discuss social issues and other school-related matters. The student council also visit here from time to time."

Auryan counties s to explain as the two of them watch the debate goes on; the topic was about universal basic income. The person on the podium elaborates their reason.

"We don't agree on this because it could lead to inequality between the hard workers and those who are richer." the male student said on the podium. The room went chatter as each opinion spoke up, asking the speaker.

"This reminds me of people's congress back then…." Edward mutters as he watches,

"Hmm, did you just say something?"

"It's nothing,"

"Is that so… then let's get out and visit some of the clubs," Auryan said.

Edward then nods in agreement, and the two of them head out of the room and go back to exploring the other clubs they could visit.

They both stop in front of a clubroom. The door was wide open; peek inside to find a few students at their desks with a computer.

The two watched as some of the students in the computer section were typing fast with their computers, one caught Edward's eyes as he saw them in the middle of the room.

It was a printing press; Edward approached it and was fascinated by the machine as if he had never seen one before.

Suddenly in a quick second, a flashlight burst at Edward; he turned to the left to see a girl still in her uniform, with the camera in her hand, aiming toward him. She smiled at Edward and said,

"You seem new here, aren't you?"

"Yes, I'm new here; what is this place?" Edward asked.

The girl who is holding the camera explains,

"Welcome to the Newspaper & Photography club, where we people band together to make information free for everyone. Journalists, writers, photographers, you name it, can be found here."

She said as she gave Edward a new printed newspaper, he opened the newspaper to find local news that had been happening around and around campus.

Images have colours now, Edward muttered as he finished reading and placed it on the desk table.

"What brought you here to visit this place?" she asked.

Edward then uses his thumb to point back at Auryan, who followed suit inside. The girl holding a camera was shocked to see Auryan, and her face began to turn red.

"WH-What are you doing here, handsome fella~."

"I-m was just giving someone a tour of the campus, that's all; I think we should go now," Auryan said as he put his hand right back at his neck and rubbed it.

"Wait before you go. Can I have a selfie with you," the girl asked?

"U-Ugh, sure, why not," Auryan said as the girl came closer t him, faced her camera towards them, and clicked it. "Hehe, thank you for cooperation~."

"Yeah, S-sure thing…." Aryan said as he and Edward left the newspaper clubroom, "I didn't know that you're that popular with the ladies." Edward said, smirking.

"Come on, I-I am not that popular!"

"Yeah-Yeah all right, lover boy,"

They begin to walk away from the building and then to the fields where physical activities occur; once the two get into the soccer match watching from the guidelines, they tend as each player kicks and passes the ball. After the game, the two went on their last visit to a specific field.
