Patrick heard a familiar voice calling out his name and then he turned. He was surprised to see Greg standing there with hands full of boxes.

'What are you doing here? And what's with these boxes?' He asked curiously, although he had guessed with the fragrance being emitted from them. It was probably food.

Just then Shirley came to the hall and saw the two old men staring at each other curiously. She was not far behind Greg and hence she has heard the exchange between them. These guys know each other, she questioned in mind. She could not hold back and asked them directly.

'You are familiar with each other, how?'

'Well, I met this old man a few years back. My dad and he were friends during college and then reunited with each other perchance. He used to visit us and I got to know him. But' he turned back to Shirley and then asked. 'What I want to know is how do you know him?'
