181 Chapter 181: A little parting gift 2

After Mt. Lady was carried out to be attended to, another challenger came in, Pro Hero number 10, Kamui Woods, stepped out. The students started cheering as many of them were fans of the pro heroes, especially Midoriya. I knew little about the hero other than the fact that his limbs are made of wood that he can control. Hopefully he doesn't fall too quickly to my Mokuton.

Kamui: From what I've seen, you're very quick. But it will take more than that to beat me.

Sage: So, you've seen what happened to Mt. Lady and all you got from that is that I am quick, is that right?

Kamui: Don't get ahead of yourself just because you had a big target.

Sage: And here I thought you would've done a little more research. I am quite disappointed with the level you pro heroes are on.

P. Nezu: The next challenger is Pro Hero number 10, Kamui Woods!!!!!

The students cheered and Kamui waved to them. He readied his stance, started to grow his limbs and struck first with his signature move, Lacquered Chain Prison. I finished my seals and clap my hands but to those observing it seemed as if all I did was clap my hands.

Sage: Mokuton: Mokujoheki (Wood Release: Wood locking wall).

The branches that Kamui used broke the moment they hit my wall. Almost immediately the students and the teacher observers fell quiet. Again, I clapped.

Sage: Mokuton: Mokusatsu Shibari no Jutsu (Wood Release: Smothering binding technique).

Kamui: WHAT?!?! How can he manipulate wood like that?!?!

Kamui was trapped, with my left hand I made a grabbing motion and slammed Kamui into the ground. I flashed next to his bound body and put two fingers to his neck to check on a pulse. Thankfully he was still alive but unconscious.

Sage: Awww, too bad he didn't know anything else. NEXT!!!

The only ones that were cheering at the moment were the class A students. At the stands…

Kaminari: Did you see that? Who the hell is Sage-sensei to have so many quirks?

Momo: Every time Sensei takes action it's like learning something new.

A large cheer came over the crowd. Ryukyu was popular as she was seen as a "clean cut" hero, which means she does everything by the book and when it comes to saving people, children came first.

Ryukyu: This time I now know who you are.

Sage: Even if you know me now, how will that help you? Your power didn't change and neither will the results.

Ryukyu: That's the problem with male heroes, too much testosterone and overconfidence. But what happens when you are overpowered by a female?

Sage: (With a wide smile) The only way you have even a remote chance of that happening is on a different battleground and no clothes.

Ryukyu: Men.

Sage: Another lady who chooses to not listen to the truth. How about we make it interesting? If by some god whos ass I haven't kicked yet interferes and lets you win, you can make me do whatever you want, things like admitting women are stronger or any little petty shit you have in mind.

Ryukyu: And if you win?

Sage: (With a wider smile) Should you really be asking rhetorical questions like that?

In the Class A stands.

Midoriya: Oh no, Sage-sensei has the same smile when he taught the responsibility lesson at the rescue training grounds.

Tsuyu: Unless you were there, there is no way of you knowing, but I can only assume the worst for Ryukyu.

Back on the field.

Ryukyu: There is no need to wager. This is an exhibition match and the children are watching. No need to put adult greed on display.

Sage: You're a little wiser than Mt. Lady, but that's where it ends.

At first, Ryukyu was not convinced that I could take one hundred percent of her power so she started off slow and weak. I was disappointed with how little the "Pro Heroes" gauged their opponents, especially those in the top 10 spots. She soon realized that her holding back was not only unnecessary but also insulting as I easily flicked away all her attacks without taking any steps away from the spot we started in. Finally realizing that her strategy was not working, Ryukyu started to use her full power. Even though it wouldn't have helped her anyway, I indulged her.

Sage: If this is your best then it was a good decision to not wager considering how easy it will be to beat you.

Ryukyu: Why are you speaking as if your victory is guaranteed?

Ryukyu was using her full strength but it was clear that it was getting her nowhere. At the verge of being exhausted another figure entered the fray.

???: Hey hey hey!! How are you having fun without me?!

Ryukyu: Miruko!!

Sage: Nice, a threesome.

Miruko: I still need to pay you back for what you did.

Sage: Oh, please, do tell what I have done.
