16 Chapter 16
A week passed after Gwen and Peter saved the people from the burning building. The people are happy to have new protectors and welcome the addition of Spider-Man. They have been stopping crime and saving citizens as a duo ever since. But they also both get in trouble at the same time. They have been doing their hero duties while they are on their way to school so both have been late on several occasions.
Ace has been elevating their tardiness by talking to the teachers to excuse them. They are after all gifted students so Ace 'convinced' them to let their tardiness affect their grades.
But not everything was perfect. J. Jonah Jameson was advocating even harder when he learned Spider-Man appeared.
"We now have two spider menaces! These masked vigilantes need to be put behind bars! Before you know it a third or a fourth will appear! Heck, maybe even an army will show up! Believe me people these vigilantes are a menace! And I J. Jonah Jameson, do not lie!"
On another note, Peter quit the Basketball team. Ever since Uncle Ben's death, Peter took his powers more seriously. He also needs to get his grades up again so he has been studying and learning different subjects. Not only to get his grades up but also to create more gadgets.
With Peter being able to use Ace's lab. He has the materials and equipment to create gadgets for himself and Gwen for their crime-fighting activities. The Watsons wanted Aunt May and Peter to stay with them. But they did not want to leave. Their home has many memories with Uncle Ben and they could not throw that away.
"May come and stay with us. It is hard for you to support Peter by yourself." said Madeline Watson MJ's mother
"No, I can't. I have lived here ever since Ben and I married. I can't just throw that away. And don't worry about Peter. I can figure something out."
"...Very well. But if you need any help. Just know we are here to help you."
"Thank you, your help will be appreciated." said Aunt May
They also didn't want to impose on them. The Watsons did not push it any further but they still helped May whenever they could.
With Peter and Gwen's heads out of the clouds. The group is finally back together. Peter and Gwen started hanging out again with Ace, MJ, and Ned. They are sitting in their usual place in the cafeteria chatting.
"It is great to have you guys hanging out with us again. It has been like forever since all of us gathered." said Ned happily
"Yeah good to have you back." said MJ smiling
"Sorry, you guys. I guess my growth spurt kind of went into my head." said Peter smiling awkwardly
"Nah~ don't worry about it. I'm just happy to have my friend back. I have a new Lego set I just bought. Let's build it together some other time."
"Sure!" said Peter smiling. Happy he did not lose his friend
"And you Gwen, I'm glad you're not just up and disappearing anymore. What were you doing by the way?" asked MJ
"Uhh… I was just auditioning for some bands! But it didn't really work out…" What Gwen said was partially true but she did not want to elaborate on it any further.
"Oh, that's too bad. But I'm glad you're here again." said MJ
"Yeah… me too." when she was out as Spider-Woman. She missed hanging out with her friends. But she was too consumed by her own popularity that she did not have time for it.
"Now the gang's all back together, how about we celebrate at my house? Ned and MJ have not been there yet so this is the perfect time to visit." said Ace
"Really! Yes! Peter has been telling me about it and I can't wait!" said Ned who couldn't contain his excitement.
"Is it really that amazing?" said MJ she knows Ace is living in a mansion but doesn't know how impressive it is.
"Oh, you're going to love it, MJ. We could spend all day there and not go through his entire mansion." said Gwen, exaggerating a bit.
"If you say that I could not help but get even more interested. I'm going to be devastated if it is a disappointment."
"In that case, you are going to be in for a great time." said Ace smiling confidently

They all arrived at Ace's mansion after school and when Ned and MJ saw the mansion they were shocked.
"You really live here Ace?" asked MJ with her mouth open from shock
"Wait till you see what's inside." Ace replied
They entered and Ned and MJ were even more shocked when they saw the facilities inside. Ned was gushing out from the computers he saw, especially the supercomputer. MJ was impressed by the amount of facilities there and how much you could do inside.
All of them played in the game room with the many arcade games there. They played bowling with Ace and Gwen getting strikes resulting in a tie.
"And here I thought I would win. You're pretty good Ace." said Gwen
"Thank you, I used to go and play bowling a lot with my friends back in Japan."
They then went for a swim in the pool. Izu had swimsuits created using the fabricator. Gwen wore a black and white one-piece and MJ wore an orange two-piece swimsuit. The boys couldn't help but admire their figures
"Like what you see boys?" said MJ teasing them.
The boys looked away before MJ started teasing them again.
They then sang karaoke throughout the evening. Everyone sang their hearts out. Peter and Ned were a bit shy at first but seeing everyone else sing. They eventually caved in and sang as well.
"Geez Ace, your mansion has everything." said MJ holding glow sticks while Peter and Ned were on stage singing.
"Thank you, you can visit anytime you want. This place is big and only me and Izu usually stay here. So don't be reserved and just come and visit."
"Hahaha, I might take up your offer."
The party lasted until late at night and Ace had to bring everyone home. He had a great time and wished there would be more moments like this in the future.

A few days later it was the weekend and Ace did not have any plans. He usually patrols around New York stopping crime. But ever since Gwen and Peter started earnestly doing hero activities. The crime rate lowered, and the city did not need him to be Kamen Rider as much as before when he was the only one protecting New York. Zea and Ark are watching them in case they get into a situation that they can't handle. That will be then where Ace joins in. But for now, they seem to be doing fine.
"What should I do…" Ace was going to get up but suddenly he was possessed. Ace is now wearing glasses and a blue streak could be seen in his hair.
"Sorry, Ace but I'm going to borrow your body for a little bit."
'Eh! Urataros! Why did you suddenly possess me?' asked Ace in the mindscape
"Why? Because it's boring staying on the Denliner. It was nice watching you for a while but… You don't call on us and we can't really move freely so it has been very boring. Even sempai has been itching for a fight when he saw the many enemies you were facing." said Urataros
'Oh… Sorry, I kind of forgot about you all. You can't all get out of the Denliner. I thought you all would be able to?'
"We can, but from your memories about this world. Our existence would attract many forces if we just walked around freely. Besides, we don't want to get on your bad side if we just do everything we want."
'I see, well at least I'm glad you told me about your dissatisfaction.' Ace had not thought about it. He was busy and thought the Taros would be okay. He needs to reflect on that.
The Taros are Imagin the main antagonist in the Den-O series. They possess Ace's body in order to transform into Kamen Rider Den-O and fight alongside him. Momotaros is a hothead and likes to get into fights. Urataros often lies and likes to flirt with women. Kintaros sleeps most of the time but has a sense of duty and wants to protect Ace. Ryuutaros has the mind of a child so he likes to play around.
'Hey, you perverted turtle! I was supposed to be the first one to go out!' shouted Momotaros
"We settled it fairly didn't we sempai? We played amidakuji, didn't we?"
'You cheated and you know it! Let me take over!'
"Sempai, we need to follow the order."
'If we're doing this let me have my turn!' said Kintaros joining in
'Hey! You stupid Kuma! Don't just suddenly join in and get back to sleep!' said Momotaros
'I have already slept enough. I need to move my body.'
'Oh, this seems fun! Let me join in!' said Ryuutaros
'Not you tot you brat!' shouted Momotaros angrily
'Hey, everyone, don't fight…' said Ace, dumbfounded by the Taros' actions. He has seen them act like this in the show. So he was not surprised but seeing them on the screen and experiencing it is difficult. And it is his responsibility to get them in line.
'How did Ryoutaro put up with them…' thought Ace
While the Taros were fighting, Ace managed to take control of his body.
"Everyone that is enough!"
The Taros stopped and they stopped playing around.
"You all will get your turn. Urataros will be first then Momotaros, Kintaros, and then Ryuutaros will be last." said Ace setting the order
'Why is Kameko first!' said Momotaros
"Because he asked me first. Besides, all you want to do is fight. And I don't plan to do that today. I have an idea of what Urataros wants to do and I'm fine with it."
'You're really fine?' asked Urataros
"Yeah, just be careful who you flirt with. You don't know if that person is dangerous or part of some organization."
'I'll keep that in mind.'
"And make sure to not let my friends know. It will be a headache to explain to them."
'Roger that.'
Urataros possesses Ace and puts on a coat and a scarf. He looks at himself in the mirror admiring his looks.
"You're a really handsome guy, Ace. A lot of girls must have already fallen in love with you." said Urataros
'Thank you for the vote of confidence.' Ace replied
"Now, all of you girls wait for me. My hook is gonna reel you all in." Urataros smirks and leaves the mansion to hit on girls.
