For certain, Syn could sense his fingers showering touches along her back. And together with the hard pressure of his lips upon hers, she could only give herself up to him. She allowed her body to rule the moment, unwilling to take a step back to think about their circumstances. 

The man placed a hand on the back of his head and took his turn in deepening their kiss. Konrad didn't want to give her a chance to protest, since he had another goal in mind.
