"Worked up?! Do you know how absurd your proposal is?!" 

[[ "Of course, I know. But Maxwell, you are not in the position to tell me that. If we're going to talk about absurd things, your stupidity will be the first thing on our list." ]] 

Though he outwardly disdained the man who was pushing his buttons, Maxwell couldn't refute what he just said. His mind urged him to reflect his actions in that instant, bombarding him with the shots of his secret dealings and show of promises. 

He was reckless. 

And foolish.
