(CHAPTER 1: BETRAYAL)

"This is her last mission, right?"

"Yes, she had never failed any one of it."

"You promised her freedom after this mission?"

"Freedom? That is a joke."

"0519 on position." A figure hid behind the metal gate of a gigantic building, the camouflage clothing enabled her to be hid perfectly under the naked eye. The raindrop fell onto her body, only with extreme focus you can find a blurry, hazy figure amongst the downpour. "This is your final mission, this corporation had left a huge debt for us and plotting an escape, code black, exterminate and destruction." The radio within her suit answered her call mechanically.

"Escape route?" she asked out, the metal door started to open slowly alongside the mechanical sound of gear creaking against each other. "Fourteenth floor, on a helicopter pad. Departing within ten minutes." "Well, we are on the clock then." When the gap rises just at the exact width for her to squeeze through, she took out a few red coloured pellets from her pocket before tossing it into the garage.

"Final mission, let's do this."

Alongside with a gigantic explosion, she rolled into the garage. The explosion alerted the guards as they began swarming into the area. "No backing up." she tossed a cyan coloured pellet into the gap where all the metal gate's machine compartment are. With a buzz and a loud hum, the gate close shut. A worker still tried to open the metal gate by pressing the button on the wall rapidly, but it is useless, the compartment within it is fucked completely. She spread her hands open, as a scythe appears within her grasp.

"Open fire!!" With a command from the commander, the guards aimed their gun. The red target aimer pinned onto her, almost twenty of them, with no gap, there is no way to dodge or hide. She would be penetrated by them into cheese before falling into a puddle of blood, gasping heavily before breathing out her last breath. Right?

Wrong.

"Space…" she placed both of his hands onto the ground, static electricity started to gather around him. "O-open fire!!" "Change!!" The moment the men pulled down the trigger, she disappeared, the one that took her place was that unlucky fella, the commander. "No! Cease fire! Cease fi-" Too late, it was after a moment before they realised, they had killed their own men. This completely messed up their action, and she took advantage out of it. She darted within the men, using her small body size and agility as advantage, waving her scythe, slicing and dicing them. Soon they were wipe up within mere minutes, what's left is her, standing amongst the fallen corpse.

"Let's take the short cut shall we." She stepped past the men and headed towards the one only elevator of the garage, dragging a corpse behind her. "Let's see…" She pulled up the head of the corpse and slammed her face onto the scanner, with a beep, the locked door opened with a click. "Huh, it worked." She let out a laugh, but instead of an escalator room, there is nothing, looks like someone had removed it to slow her down.

"Whatever, I am about to clear this building after all." She clicked onto the belt of her suit, a harpooned rope was shoot towards the roof of the elevator's shaft, all the way onto the fortieth floor. She secured the rope to make sure it was secure. "Now set up the seeds." She took off her glove and place her palm onto the elevator's security scanner. Mechanical tentacles emerged out from her finger tips and drilled into the scanner, hacking it as she prepared her ammunition.

"Access granted."

With a huge thud, every single door within the elevator shaft was opened. "Time for a lift." She pressed the button on his belt buckle, with a click she was pulled towards the top. She immediately started spreading the explosive pellets in her hands that she had prepare earlier on, tossing ten of them into each floor, nice and fair through the opened elevator door. The moment she arrived at the top; she pressed the button in her grasp. The explosive pellets, alongside the bombs she sowed down earlier at the building's garage all exploded at the same time. Flame started to gush into the elevator shaft, destroying the entire building and at the same time pushing her through the roof and burst right into the balcony.

"My, my, an escaping sewer mouse." She patted the flame onto her as she approached. The explosion seems to shocked one of the escaping committee members of the corporation, because he lost his foot and stumbled into the puddle of rain water. "Oh, shit she is here!" The other members within the helicopter gasped seeing her arrival. "Go! Forget about him, go!" They urged, and the helicopter took off immediately without hesitation of leaving one of their friends down. "No! Stop! Come back!!" He screamed, desperately chasing the already mid-air helicopter.

"You sure you wanted to go onto that?" The moment those words left 0519's mouth, the helicopter exploded, turning into debris before crashing down in front of them. Leaving a hand earlier before sure makes the job easier. "Oh, yo-you killed them." The man backs up, seeing the dead corpse within the ablaze helicopter just meters away from them. "What are you going to do to me." He turn towards her, desperation creep into his eyes. Tears mixed with rainwater gushed down his face, for a split second she wanted to spare her, but those days of ruthlessly killing makes her cover back that emotion immediately.

"I just wanted this." A dagger flung out from her hand, striking his palm. She let out a scream and let go of his briefcase, in which she took it away gladly. "Sayonara~" With that 0519 leapt out of the building, right when the entire building starts crumbling down like a cookie left overnight outside the fridge. "Mission success." She mumbled under her breath as she dived down, trying to hold the joy within her, finally those days of killings were over. She pressed onto the button to open the glider but instead only half of it popped out, the other half remains intact, or destroyed.

"What the fuck-" Before she could wrap his head around the situation, the unbalanced situation causes her to spiral out of control as she got closer and closer to the ground. "This is all planned right!?" She roared out, the only thing that replied her questioning is a soft crackle emerging from the radio. "Apparently the government doesn't need you anymore." Someone spoke through it. "And leaving you would only expose our organisation, so we are sorry for the "slight" changes." He let out a few chuckles before closing the radio with a beep.

"Shit!" If that wasn't bad enough, all the pebbles she kept within her suit started to beep all of them once at a time. Looks like the organisation had been planning to kill her the moment they handed her this mission and promised her freedom, it was all just a fucking lie after all. Out of no choice she took off her suit and snapped the half-open glider wing. Using that she barely manages to slow down. But that didn't stop her away from a harsh landing.

Just when she was feet away from impact. She placed the wing and briefcase beneath her to absorb the impact, she landed hard into an alley, but undeniably not fatal enough. She stumbled for a few times before falling into a drain, the sewage water splashed onto her body. Her sight hazed as her ears hummed, she barely had enough energy to even move a muscle, she could felt her fragile, undeveloped bones, snap like celery sticks. She let out one last groan, before fainting alongside a huge explosion at the background. All that she remembers was the sensation of the needle rainwater pouring onto her face, and the cold feel of betrayal within her heart…
