A Reincarnator’s Return to His Previous World

Fidel Alimoren is just your ordinary, run-of-the-mill high school student that can be found everywhere in every school. He isn’t good-looking, he doesn’t possess remarkable grades that one would consider him a genius, nor does he have many close friends who he hangs out with every time after class. In fact, most of his classmates see him as the weird, anti-social kid with no redeeming qualities whatsoever. But, what everyone in his life didn’t know is that he’s actually a reincarnator that came from another world and was reborn here on Earth. Underneath all of the monotony in his daily life, the number one assassin from another world lived a normal high school life amongst them. Then, on one fateful day, Fidel’s whole class got caught up in an Otherworldly Heroes Summoning and dragged into a long millennium war between four races. The world they were summoned into was called Labanan, a world of fantasy filled with swords and magic and—most importantly—the world Fidel previously lived in. There's just one problem, though: Fidel doesn't want to stay in his old world again. So please, can someone tell him how in the hell can he get back to Earth?! ********* Every Chapter is 1,100 or more words! 100 Powerstones - One Extra Chapter on the next release schedule. 100 Collections - One Extra Chapter on the next release schedule. 15 Reviews - One Extra Chapter on the next release schedule.

Just Another Normal, Ordinary Day

A strong breeze blew over the school's rooftop. A lone boy lied down on the roof's flooring with his eyes closed, and as the wind rolled by it swept his wavy brown hair.

Fidel Alimoren enjoyed spending most of his pastimes in school being alone on the rooftop and relaxing by taking a nap. Normally, the rooftop was off-limits for students, and the only door leading up to it would always be locked. However, Fidel could lockpick the door no problem; he was dubbed as one of the greatest thieves in his past life, after all.

Currently, the school was on lunch break, so he had about one hour all to himself. As such, he naturally went to his favorite spot in the school where no one would disturb him.

The caresses of the breeze simply felt angelic on his tanned skin. Unlike other teenagers his age who usually hung out with their buddies every chance they get; Fidel on the other hand, would very much rather spend his time in solitude than interact with a bunch of immature, bothersome kids. Besides, most of their conversations didn't appeal to him like topics of Anime, video games, internet celebrities, and such.

He couldn't understand for the life of him why they would be so interested and invested in something that is basically useless to them. Rather than finding ways to improve themselves, train their skills, and develop their individual talents, they just waste away their precious time on some garbage entertainment for hours on end. And before they know it, their life's potential achievements and successes fade into nothingness, along with their hopes and dreams for the future.

This was also one of Fidel's favorite things to do in his pastime—mulling over the things he learned and discovered in this new world he reincarnated in. The people, the culture, the power systems of this world, and yadda yadda yadda. Basically, there is still a ton of stuff he couldn't fully comprehend yet in this world, thus his ultimate goal in this life is to explore every inch of this planet called Earth as well as experience what it had to offer.

He would have liked to do it as soon as possible but couldn't, as there was unfortunately a restriction set upon him—he was not of legal age yet. Being a minor means that you aren't allowed to live or travel independently, as you are still in the full custody of your parents or guardian.

So, until that time comes when he finally turns eighteen, he planned to live his life as quietly as possible for now without sticking out. He would just be in the backdrop of everyone's lives either dozing off or staring outside the window, waiting for the time to pass by him.

AAAHHHHHH!!!!

While Fidel was in his half-conscious state of resting, suddenly, he heard high-pitched screaming coming up from the school ground.

'What the hell was that?'

He opened his eyes and quickly got up to check out what was happening below him. He held on to the roof's railing and peered down, scanning the open area.

"Oh, so it was just that, huh…"

Fidel sighed and placed his chin on the railing, observing the commotion happening on the school's basketball court. There was a game taking place between one of his classmates, Cyke Arceo, and a senior student whom he didn't know the name of. The piercing screams came from the big crowd of girls spectating the matchup.

The basketball court was a fair distance from the school building, yet Fidel didn't have trouble watching the game from where he was standing as if he was actually watching there in the spectators' stands. The things transpiring on the court were crystal clear in his eyes.

Cyke Arceo had the ball as he dribbled it to the enemy's courtside. When a defender tried to reach for the ball and steal it, Cyke spun his body around to get past him.

The crowd cheered his name as he drew nearer to the hoop. After crossing over two other defenders, Cyke shot a layup to the basket, and it went in.

WOOOOHHHH!!!

The high school girls watching exclaimed and were exhilarated by Cyke Arceo's amazing ballgame, their collective screams getting louder and louder. However, it was Cyke's turn to defend the ball from his incoming opponents.

The leader of the enemy team screamed for the ball, and the one who had it passed it over to him. Currently, the whole courtside looked like it was freed up for a one-on-one face-off between Cyke and the senior student.

The senior student tried his best to get past Cyke by using a number of crossovers and fakes, but not a single one worked against Cyke. No matter how hard the senior student tried, he couldn't break Cyke's ankles or his guard. Then, because he was dribbling the ball too much, Cyke eventually managed to steal the ball away from him and run to the ring to score a fastbreak. And that seemed to be the match point that ended the game.

Cyke's team happily bumped fists with each other, while the enemy side all had sullen expressions on their faces, especially their leader who caused the turnover which lost them the game. As expected of the star ace of the varsity basketball team, Cyke Arceo's performance was nothing short of astounding, both on the offensive side and the defensive side.

While Cyke basked in the afterglow of his victory, a girl ran up to him to offer a clean face towel and a bottle of water.

Fidel recognized the girl to be also one of his classmates—Andrea Velasco. She was the most popular girl in their class solely because of her seductive charm. She had red hair and green eyes, while her skin was slightly tanned. As for her figure, she could only be described as having a stunning mature body, which fully masked her adolescent age. In other words, she had a perfect hourglass figure that men drooled over, and women wanted to take over. Her sex appeal was simply far too deadly as she was the dream fantasy of countless boys in this school, including the male teachers.

Cyke smiled at her and accepted the things she brought to him. He first wiped the sweat off his pretty boy face before drying his flawless pink hair. Afterward, he hung the face towel on his neck and then gulped down the water bottle.

Meanwhile, all of the girls closely eyeing his every action squealed with hearts in their eyes.

"Hmph. How pathetic…" Fidel muttered.

Having enough, he looked away from the scene on the basketball court as he glanced at the time on his watch.

"It's 12:55 PM. Guess I'll head back to class now."

Putting his hands in his pockets, he turned around and walked through the roof's door, closing it on the way in.
