I stared blankly at the bored not taking anything that my Science teacher was saying. Don't get me wrong I love science especially Physics that we seemed to be doing today but for some reason I just couldn't take anything in today. I think we were doing sound waves or something I knew I should be listening because it was a hard topic but i couldn't get out of my thoughts.

It had happened again yesterday. It hasn't happened to me in years last it happened was when i was in year 8 and now I'm a Sixth Former and it happened again. It was the worst feeling like couldn't breathe like there was something stuck in my throat. I know what was happening. It was one of my panic attacks but it's something that hasn't to me in years. I know I get them when I feel claustrophobic or when I feel like I can't escape. But don't know what happened yesterday I had been at the park with my two best friends and I saw someone from my old school and the feeling just took over me and I couldn't breathe. The thing is I hadn't told my friend about my anxiety because it used to happen before I met them and it hasn't happened since so I thought it was in the past so I didn't tell them plus I hate talking about it so I never brought it up. I just can't get it why I reacted that...

Suddenly I felt someone nudge me out of my thoughts and I glared over at my best friend but she just gave me a pointed look towards the rest of the class then I realised that everyone was staring at me including the teacher.

"Maria since you obviously know so much more than me why don't you teach the class." He glared at me while offering me the pen.

"Sorry sir" I replied holding back a grin.

"That's what I thought. Now pay attention Maria"

"Yes, sir." The thing is he likes me. I'm probably one of his favourite students along with my two best friends Helia and Alicja. Seriously he is so chill around us and he is hilarious. Some of the stories that he tells about when he was in high school are hilarious. Suddenly a piece of paper is shoved under my nose.

'What's up with u today u've been lost in your thoughts all day. Ur not thinking about that d**k Callum r u? Cause he's not worth it.'

I looked up at the worried expressions on my best friend's faces and gave them a small smile. And Callum mentioned was my dickhead of an ex. A total waste of time.

'No it's not that, I'll tell you guys at break.' I wrote back. They both gave me a nod and a smile back and I couldn't help but be so happy that I am lucky enough to have these two amazing and beautiful girls as my best friends.

Helia is Iranian and is absolutely gorgeous. She has amazing black curly hair coming down nearly to her waist. She has beautiful brown eyes which support converse glasses. She's my nearly 6 feet complete bad ass of a best friend. She seriously takes no shit from no one.

Alicja is Polish and also absolutely beautiful with blondish brown hair and the most gorgeous eyes there like blue but also green and brown there is literally no colour to describe it but they are absolutely gorgeous. She's my complete nutcase of a best friend and I swear there is not a moment when this girl doesn't have a smile on her face. I love both of them like sisters.

Then to finish our trio is me I'm half Italian and half English. I have dark brown wavy hair that's half way down my back, and dark brown eyes which are hidden behind glasses. In my opinion I'm pretty mediocre even though they both insist that I'm gorgeous I still don't believe it.

As I finished copying the last of the notes of the bored the bell rang and everyone started packing up and suddenly there was a shit amount of talking in the class. I started putting stuff away and just as I was about to zip up my bag someone grabbed my arm and started pulling me out the class.

"Helia where the feck are you taking me?" I asked replacing the swear as there were teachers around but I still got looks from them.

"You are going to explain what is going on with you." Alicja answered instead. The next thing I knew was we were outside and I could tell that they were taking me to our spot. When we got there she finally let go of me and both of them faced me.

"Now tell us what's going on Mari." Helia said

"It's nothing. I'm just tired" I replied trying to avoid their eyes.

"Maria Carolina James. Do not give us that s**t." I slightly smiled at the use of my full name she sounded like my mum when she was telling me off.

"Please Mari tell us what's going on." Alicja added and I looked up to see the concern in their eyes. I took a deep breath.

"I've just been thinking about what happened yesterday." I mumbled and I saw them both exchange a look. But I couldn't look at them.

"Why didn't you tell us?" Alicja asked gently

I let out a breath and drop down on the grass. "I don't know Lis it's just something that hasn't happened in years so I thought it wouldn't happen again. I thought I had got better but i guess not. So I never brought it up and I hate talking about it."

"Do you know why it happened yesterday?" Helia asked

At first I didn't answer just took a sip from my water then I hesitantly nodded.

"Yeh, I do."
