This chapter is more of an introductory chapter for the character. Expect a bit of an info dump here, though the next chapters won't be, probably only having small amounts of info dumps every now and then if there is something I need to inform you of.

"Look, I've already told many companies this. I'm not looking to be contracted!"

The voice of a young male could currently be heard yelling through the phone as he rubbed his head in frustration, his face showing obvious signs of irritation as he was talking with the person on the other side of the phone. The male appeared to be seventeen years old and had lean yet defined build, his skin being beautifully fair and having straight neat white hair with a pair of crimson eyes.

His attire at the moment nothing too spectacular as he was wearing a simple white tight t-shirt, a pair of slightly loose black shorts that reached halfway down his thighs, and that was pretty much it. It was understandable as his current position appeared to be in a rather large house, more specifically, a bedroom.

His bedroom.

The male being none other than Yuto.

"So, I am begging of you. Leave me be!" With that, Yuto cancelled the call before tossing his phone onto his bed as he sat on the ground while giving a heavy sigh as he used both his arms to support himself. He then frowned as he looked at the carpeted floor of his room. "Seriously, can't even get away from contracting companies even in another life..."

He honestly didn't know how so many companies got a hold of his contact information. Probably by some shady or whatever, he doubted that they got his contact information from some person that he knew. He rarely ever gave out his contact information, so the number of people that they would be able to get his number from was very minimal.

"Yu, are you okay?" A woman's voice was heard as the door to his room opened up. He looked to see a woman that was probably in her mid-forties, having a decent figure along with fair skin like Yuto. She had long white hair that reached her waistline and also a pair of blue eyes, her attire consisting of a simple tight one-piece black dress.

"Yeah, just another call, mum..."

"Ah~, another company hoping to get you to make a contract with them?" Yuto's mother, her name being Minaka, had asked as Yuto responded with a simple nod of his head. She could easily see he was frustrated. "I suppose you can't blame them. With the videos that you're posting, it's obvious that they're going to try and scout you."

"I suppose. But, I just wish they would lay off..." Yuto sighed. He knew that it was kind of his fault for uploading videos he made of him singing, playing instruments, and even dancing to music as well. He had rapidly gained popularity on the internet due to it. Thus, gaining attention from rather popular companies. "Anyway, I better get back to drawing. I have a deadline."

"Okay, just make sure to get some rest."

"I know." With that, his mother closed the door gently as Yuto pushed himself onto his feet before walking over towards his desk and taking a seat in his chair. He quickly then took out two folders, on being a red and the other a black folder. He looked at both before wondering. 'Let's see, should I work on seinen or shonen? I have a deadline for Fairy Tail soon, then Tokyo Ghoul. Should probably work on those...'

Yuto quickly took out the necessary pages before getting to work almost instantly as he placed a pair of headphones over his ears. While a number of people find it hard to concentrate and think when listening to music, he strangely found that it got him to work even better than usual. Listening to music was always pleasing to him.

It had been a few years now, seventeen obviously, since he had been reborn into this new world. During the time, he had just gone to school like any other teenager before he began to take up the same talents as he had in his previous life, that being of a professional idol as well as a manga artist. Due to his intelligence, he was given quite the freedom and could skip whenever he wanted as long as he kept his grades up.

He wasn't sure how the hell that was even allowed, but this was another world, so he wasn't going to complain nor question it. Back in his old world, that was never going to happen. Well, maybe give him a couple of days off, but definitely not whenever he pleased.

It was also incredibly difficult for him to juggle both careers back in his previous life.

That's why he had decided to just do his whole musical and idol business as a side hobby where he would upload videos to the internet, though kind of regretted it due to the constant calls to form some form of contract with him. He refused them all. He was more interested in writing the manga he had back in his old world.

He had created all kinds of manga back in his world, ranging from popular titles like Fairy Tail, Tokyo Ghoul, One Piece and more. He would always try to avoid looking at other people's music as well as manga works since he felt like his brain would unconsciously copy their works in some way, so he would avoid doing that.

He didn't like plagiarising, even if it is unintentional.

He had a good reason for still creating videos on the internet, mostly doing live streams as well. That was because he both enjoyed it as well as to make money, since the pay for mangaka weren't exactly the greatest despite how popular his works had already become. When he first came into the world and discovered the manga, he was... disappointed.

There were a few decent ones, but none that were really impressive.

Like said before, he didn't really read other people's mangas back in his old world, but the very few that he had read were far better in quality compared to the ones that he had seen in this world. The world was quite lacking in any good manga if he was honest.

He had a huge fanbase in both as a manga artist and also a music composer and idol on the internet, he received quite a bit of donation money from the live streams he did as well, so that was a plus to doing so. At the moment, he was hoping to get as much done as he could right now since he was going to be visiting an old friend of his.

It was a person that he had known in this life since he was a kid, and it had been a few years since they actually have met face to face again. They stayed in contact with one another over the phone and text, but that was pretty much it. He hadn't been able to talk too much with them since he was quite busy and all.

He wanted to at least get a few more pages done so he had some time to hang out with his friend.

"Is this the place...?"

Yuto muttered to himself as he parked his car in front of what appeared to be a school, and it wasn't the school that he went to, obviously. The school looked like your standard modernised school, along with having a large black gate at the front leading into the main campus of the school. He could see a number of students coming out.

He had changed his clothes and was now wearing a light-grey tight t-shirt along with long tight black pants that showed off his lean figure well, along with a single black wristband on his right wrist. He had on black running shoes as well to finish off the simple set of clothing that he was wearing, simple was best in his opinion.

He noticed how all the students shared one thing in common, and that wasn't their uniform, it was the fact that they were all female. He wasn't exactly surprised though, more a bit uncomfortable. His friend had asked him to come and pick her up from school since her parents were unable to, and she had already told him her school was an all-girl school.

At first, he was surprised by the fact that he was even allowed to drive on his own. Japan's legal age for driving was eighteen, though this world's version seemed to allow those aged seventeen to drive when they got their license. He wasn't sure if he should be concerned or not, though it was only one year difference, but what the heck. Works for him as he didn't want to catch public transport.

He had already gotten out of the car and was leaning against it as he waited for her to come out, and it shouldn't be too long since it was already five minutes past the time that school ended. He was uncomfortable due to the stares he was getting, and was getting nervous since he could hear a few of their whispers.

"He's pretty cute...!"

"Doesn't he look familiar?"

"Yeah, you're right!"

It seemed that a number of the students seemed to recognise him, most likely from the live streams that he did. He tried his best to ignore all of them though, one method being to distract himself by focusing on his phone. He was looking at his account on Twitch, which he was surprised to see that they had here in this world as well.

His popularity had grown at a rapid speed, and he had grown to be one of the most popular, if not the most popular, person on the platform. Having already reached a number of millions of followers, and that was only in around two months, which was when he had started. With his manga career here having started a year ago.

"Y-Yuto~!"

"Hm?" Yuto turned his attention up upon hearing his name being called out. When he did, he saw a girl who appeared to be a year younger than himself, and she was running towards him. She was wearing the school uniform like all the other students, and she had long smooth brownish-black hair that had a small ponytail on the left side of her head. "Oh, Yua! How've you been?"

The person that had run over was Yua Nakajima, the childhood friend of his. As she now stood in front of him, he could see that she had grown in height quite a bit, not surprising there. Though, she was still a head or so shorter than himself.

"That's all you have to say after all these years?" Yua seemed to pout with a slight deadpan as she heard his sentence. Yuto just rubbed the back of his head as he smiled nervously, his sentence was pretty standard and was usually something anybody would say to someone else pretty much every day. "Wh-Whatever. I'm doing good, what about you?"

"I'm doing as good as usual. I see you've grown well over the years."

"Eh?" Yua seemed to gain a flushed expression as she heard. "P-Pervert!"

"Wh-What? I just complimented you!" Yuto blinked in confusion at her sudden shout. If there was one thing that he never understood about her even to this day, despite not seeing her for a while, was how she always reacted in ways that confused him to no end. He watched as she huffed before turning away. "Anyway... let's go since I don't want to be stared at anymore."

"E-Eh?" Yua blinked in confusion before looking around them to see a good number of her fellow students staring at them from the distance, all whispering to one another. She could hear a number of them before going red-faced as she quickly shook her head and sprinting to the passenger's seat and quickly chucking her bag into the bag seats. "L-Let's go. I need you to take me home so I can change first!"

"Yeah, yeah."
