“Hey, dudes, think we should go back so Cody can see what my parents brought him?” They all wandered back inside.
Patti brought out a garment bag and a gift bag while Dwayne brought out a box that was wrapped. “Cody, these are a few things we brought from our trip, just to say ‘welcome’ to our family.” She passed him the garment bag. He looked puzzled but opened it. Inside was a finely tailored suit, several shirts, and some casual and dress pants. “We guessed at the sizes, but we’ll make sure they’re tailored to fit you.”
Russell snorted. “The boy is growing like a weed. As soon as the tailor is done, I’ll bet he’ll need to adjust them again.”
