Chapter 23
“Sponge bath there, tiger? I was going to offer earlier, but you were busy or something, so I figured I should wait.” Peter grinned.
“It is about time you realized I have needs. I feel so dirty. I haven’t felt clean for years.”
Peter rolled his eyes, went to get the goods, and planned to be as gentle as possible. He knew the situation with abdominal surgery. He began washing from Russell’s feet and upward. He washed his upper body, arms, and chest. He took special care around the wounds on his boyfriend’s abdomen. The surgical team decided that Russell was a good candidate for a laparoscopic partial colectomy. That meant, instead of a large incision that looked like someone used a chainsaw, he had several smaller incisions where the various equipment was inserted to do the deed. Peter dried each section as he went. Then he stood, hands on his hips, and smiled.
“How’d I do for my first try?” He frowned at Russell’s expression.
