99 Vigilante work(2)

Emotion suppression did exactly as the name suggested and suppressed ones emotions , but suppression was not removal of these emotions by any stretch of the imagination. In fact it was actually more like making them worse after this suppression was released as they had built up over that entire time. The stronger the emotions suppressed the worse the outburst when they were released. It happened when the Jenny clan tried to haze me but that was merely my suppressed irritation at the situation while this time it was far worse as I was extremely angry at the traffickers this entire time.-

So much animosity being released at once would be enough to give even the strongest pokemon pause much less petty crooks like these three. To them I truly must have seemed like a demon in human form at this point and i hadn't even needed to harm them. An oh if they didn't sing like canaries after I put the suppression back in place. I had descriptions , names , birthdays , favorite colors and locations for the traffickers , everything these three knew down to the most insignificant details. Satisfied with this knowledge I released Vulcan from his ball after leaving the warehouse to burn it an all the witnesses of my presence here down.-

I was well away from the area when people started to notice that the warehouse was on fire and rushed to put it out. It was a fools errand however as all those rotten DRY wooden crates caused the blaze to grow to unstoppable proportions. The best the responders could do was contain it to that one warehouse and wait for it to go out. While that was going on I was entering the pokecenter to rent a room for the night as I wanted to be well rested for the hunt tomorrow.-

The pokemon trafficking group in the city consisted of twenty people total with most being distributors for the trafficked pokemon while the rest were enforcers or leaders for the group. In total there was thirteen distributors , four enforcers and three leaders. The enforcers were going to be the biggest problem as they were all ruthless killers and had full teams of highly trained pokemon that they had either had from the start or got from working in the trafficking group. The three crooks only knew that each enforcer was about tier five in terms of power.-

This was pretty good for this early in the gym circuits location but not something I really needed to be worried about. I wasn't planning on battling with them in the first place so unless I messed up my plan for dealing with them or they reacted differently than I expect it was only a slight inconvenience. I slept soundly through the night and woke up at dawn the next morning and left the pokecenter with the staff looking slightly surprised to see me awake at such an hour.-

It wasn't unheard of for people to wake up this early of course , however it was just one of those things that you never expect to see a stranger do. I paid no attention to this and made my way the the beach to get my morning workout done. There were a few people also up and about in the city such as merchants and dock workers, I found a sandwich stall open on the way to the beach and ordered six spicy egg and sautéed vegetable sandwiches to go. They were good too as the stall owner quickly prepared them on the stalls grill in front of me before wrapping them in foil and bagging them for me as I paid.-

Two of the sandwiches were for me while the other four were for Rune and Vulcan who joined me in my exercises. The beach was considered a pokemon friendly area thankfully so it wasn't illegal to have my team out so long as we didn't leave it. The sand also worked as good environmental training for Rune as it was difficult to move over. Vulcan didn't have any trouble with the sand as it had plenty of experience with it from sparring with Gaia.-

After my workout was done I balled up my team minus Tank and set off for my first target in the form of one of the enforcers. He was a brute of a man that acted like the whole world was his toilet. He was nicknamed the boar due to his fat figure and ugly appearance and it was a sort of open secret that he was a raping murderer. He was just not sloppy enough to leave evidence of his crimes behind so the Jenny's couldn't lock him up. Mind reading was also not counted as evidence because psychics could plant false memories.-

Luckily for all the victims families that wanted him dead I intended on granting their wish. The boar was known to live in a house near the north western edge of the city that was apparently the traffickers turf if the crooks were to be believed. The man was my first target because he was the easiest to go after as unless he was "in a mood" or had work he stayed at home sleeping or eating. I stayed out of sight as I walked through the city towards his house which wasn't all that hard since it was a well known thing that you should avoid this area.-

Once I got to the house I was disgusted by what i saw as there was trash piled up in the yard and the house looked damaged in several places. 'He even lives like a pig.' I thought in revulsion as I walked up to the house to see if he was home at the moment. He wasn't as it turned out and after checking the doors found that they didn't even have locks on them which proved either his arrogance or stupidity.-

The inside of the house was not much better than the outside and in my opinion was even worse as the air couldn't escape to dissipate the gods awful stench that filled the building. It was easy for me to hide behind the piled up trash and wait for the boar to return to his sty. I was nothing if not patient and was thus rewarded a couple hours later when the fat bastard slammed open the door complaining about the lost profit from the sunken ship and how the leader of the group was doubling down on the rest of them to make it up.-

Soon enough the boar cashed on his couch and started snoring almost immediately. I stood up from my hiding spot and walked over to the man before drawing my spear. "SWISH! SWISH! SWISH!" In a single motion I coated the spear head in aura before stabbing the man three times in rapid succession once in the head , heart and groin each before stepping back to avoid the blood that came immediately afterwards. None of it got on me as the body twitched a bit but fell still as death set in fully.
