Comfort zone.

The weeks that led up to the sports festival were tense. The class had all been spending their time training and honing their skills for the event. They were putting all their efforts into that.

Today was the day for the event and because it was such a big event. Yasuhiro's mother was wearing a U.A cap and a foam hand. She was very excited which was the opposite of Yasuhiro.

"Yasuhiro, my friends and I will all be watching you. The whole world will. Don't embarrass yourself act like a man who never loses!"

"Thanks for the speech. I'll be sure to remember it when I fall on my face."

"That sarcasm of your is a gift from me, be sure to remember that."

"I'm off. I'll be sure not to die." Yasuhiro said as he walked out.

He was actually late this time. He was thinking about the event last night so he missed out on some sleep. He threw his alarm out of the window so he couldn't count on that.

He used his usual teleportation routine to get to school. The school was much more lively. He had to make his way to the first year changing rooms which was quite a long walk from the schools main building. He couldn't teleport there since he had never been there.

Once he made his way there he navigated around the building to get to the changing rooms were the class was. Before he could get to the class he was greeted by Aizawa sensei in his full body cast.

"Why are you late Toshiaki?" Aizawa asked as he guarded the door for the changing room.

"I overslept."

"No excuses, good. Get in there and get changed." He said.

"Yes, Aizawa sensei."

-------------------

Once Yasuhiro got changed he went to the waiting room where all the students were waiting.

"Good morning everyone."

"Ah Toshiaki, we were starting to think you wouldn't show up." Hagakure said.

"I overslept it's nothing much," Yasuhiro said as he took his seat.

The class went back to what they were doing before and talking about how excited they were.

"Everyone are you ready? We are going out soon." Iida announced as he walked through the door.

As the class rep, Iida was in charge of taking us out.

"Midoriya, objectively I am stronger than you. But All Might, he has his eye on you, right? I'm not one to pry, but I will definitely beat you."

Todoroki went on about how we weren't here to make friends which was partially true and Midoriya replied with a long speech about how he won't be beaten. It sounded like a bunch of nursery kids arguing.

"It's time for us to leave let's go, class 1-A."

----------------------------

Yasuhiro felt a tad bit nervous with all the people watching him but it was bearable. He wasn't overreacting like Midoriya but he wasn't as cool as Iida who believed that this was a test.

"Time for the players pledge." Said Yasuhiros favourite hero, Midnight.

A few audience members discussed the ethicality of having midnight, an R-rated hero, be an umpire for an event for teens.

"Quiet. Representing the students is Toshiaki Yasuhiro."

'Huh? Why wasn't I told about this'

"Toshiaki? That's a surprise." Midoriya commented.

"His overall grades were the best in the year! He even beat Bakugo in the rankings." Sero explained.

Toshiaki slowly made his way over to the stage where he'd have to give courage to all the students to try their best and go PLUS ULTRA!

Once he was on the stage Yasuhiro had a speech planned that would give the year courage and hope to go past their limits and reach their full potential, a speech of only four words.

"Yasuhito adjusted the microphone to reach his height and spoke.

"Let's do our best." Were the four words that were spoken. The tone of voice was so deadpan and depressing.

....

"Who let this sloth do our pledge?!" One of the students shouted out.

"It's a disgrace to the U.A name."

"The pledge was meant to get me fired up. I'll kill you lazy bum!" One iron-hearted member of class 1-B said.

"Nice going Yasuhiro... You've made everyone hate us." Jiro said.

"I don't really care."

"Now let's get started right away! Think of the first game as a qualifier." She flipped her whip in the air. "This year it's.."

"An obstacle race!" She announced.

'Oh. that should be easy.' He'd never lost a race in his life.

-----------------------

'As long as I stay on course anything should be fine. I'm going to disappoint all the people who are here for the tight races but I'm going to ruin the mood a bit. I'll have to teleport to the other side of the stadium and teleport again to the finish line.'

He could already tell the problems that they were going to face as soon as they leave. The narrow tunnel means they'll be stuck as soon as they leave. The obstacle starts before they can even leave.

He stood behind everyone just so he could watch the chaos ensue.

The final green light flashed and the race had begun and as he had predicted the students were all stuck in the middle of the tunnel apart from Todoroki who used his quirk to get a headstart.

Yasuhiro looked at the cameras that showed the different stages of the course. It looked to be an empty field. It probably had a surprise that was to be fun to see people attempting.

Using his knowledge of his surroundings and the information he already had, Yasuhiro managed to teleport to the final part of the course.

"What's this? One student has managed to reach the final part of the course within seconds! Just who is it?"

Before the camera could identify who it was the figure disappeared over the minefield and began running his way to the end of the track.

"It seems we have a winner In record time! It's none other than the enigmatic and lazy student of class 1-A. -

"Toshiaki Yasuhiro!"
