A Pure Wish (Against the Gods)

A battle with everything put into it left but a fragment of a soul bereft of most feelings wandering through the empty space of death. It passed through a critical boundary and wandered onto a continent. The journey left it even wearier and more worn down, but fortunately, there was a dying individual it could rest in. The lingering sentiment that pushed the soul onward to survive was a feeling of vengeance that wouldn't dissipate.
