117 Two-timing

Soon, the national lawn tennis competition for singles kicked off and Anna travelled through air because Roy didn't want her stressed out from the journey.

Despite his busy schedule, he had to come with her on this trip because he wanted his presence to encourage her.

Ms. Carter also travelled with them as she was now doubling as Anna's assistant manager apart from the fact that she was worried as her mother.

Anna's first competition since she was forced into retirement occurred two days later. She won the match by a short margin.

That was her first time competing with someone and she was lucky to have gotten to the next level.

After the match, Anna cried.

"Why are you crying when you did so well?" Roy asked as he brought her into his chest. He didn't mind that she was sweaty and hadn't cleaned up nicely.

He could always comfort her in any kind of situation.
