"What?" Rebecca only managed to look confused before the phone she kept on the table an arm's length away started to ring.

Immediately, she grabbed it and glanced at the screen before smiling. She waved the phone to her father and said, "I don't think that's happening," before sliding her finger across her phone screen to answer the call.

It was Roy who was calling her back. And it didn't matter how many hours later that he chose to return her calls, she was contented. 

"Hey!" The moment Roy's voice rang in her ears, Rebecca pushed her plate of food away and turned to the other side.

"Hey!" she replied with a face full of smiles. She always knew the right thing to do with her boyfriend. Pissed him off? Ask for mercy and then leave him for some time and he will come back to you. Don't pester him or you won't get his back faster.
