Chapter 1: A Good Beginning…

On the human half of the earth, There was a 24 year old man. Currently he was filing the horns that come from his forehead inside his home. The material the horns were made of fell on the tiled ground as the man groaned. "I swear these things get stronger every time I file them" The man said as he filed it faster, until it made it to a point he could wear a pair of goggles over them. It took some time to fit them around the spot the horns were but it fit around them.

The goggles were tinted black so the horns weren't very visible within them, looking like a fashion choice. He got up from where he was, stretched, and went to sweep the horn shavings into a trash bag. After that, he stepped further away from the center of the room and into a door that led to the outside. He opened it and prepared to start his day. The first thing he saw was the blinding sun, the wooden and straw houses neighboring him and a few of his neighbors walking somewhere in a group

"Hey there guys! Is something going on?" The man said. "We're headed into the chapel! Something big is happening!" One of the many neighbors said. The man had nothing to do and he had no plans, so he figured that there's no harm in walking with them. He stepped off his porch and marched with them onto the chapel.

The chapel at the small town had been made of stone bricks unlike the rest of the town, making it stand out much more. The chapel wasn't really dedicated to a god, although people did worship many gods. The chapel just a place for people to hope that nothing bad would happen and move on. Whatever was happening there was something big. And no one knew what it was. They could only hope it would be a good thing instead of more news about the split world they live on, that seemed to keep worsening each time they heard about it.
