Hmm..?? 16??! I am 16 years old?! No wonder I shrunk in size... Well, I have transmigrated to Kanto in the Pokémon world, a change in age is the least bit surprising fact that can be thrown at me now.
*Sigh*
Well then, what should I set my hometown as? Should I just set it as Pallet Town? Won't they be suspicious that a kid who they haven't seen all their lives claiming to be from Pallet Town when I get there? Then, if I choose some faraway region won't they find it more suspicious that I arrived here by myself alone with no Pokémon or for the matter without my parents or any guardian?
Man, this is frustrating to think about.
Let's just wait till I meet someone and decide what to say accordingly to how they react to me.

A complete clean slate. I guess 'Class' would be something like 'Pokémom Trainer'. Let's just improvise that as we go.
For 'Title', well I could gain some awesome title by becoming the new champion or something. Hehe. Man, it just makes me excited thinking about it.

So this was what enabled me to view the information about the Pidgey that I saw earlier.
This could come in handy with all the information I know about the Pokémon in this region. I could determine what 'Moves' the Pokémon know based on their levels if this follows according to the game completely, which I don't think it does, but still helpful to be prepared in advance.
The next page seems to be the last in the Status Menu.

What a load of bullshit, erm, or Tauros-shit(?) is this?? (A/N: I know it's a lame joke, but had to do it)
Even considering bad jokes, this is a very crappy one.
In my previous world, I didn't even have any type of social interaction with another human being other than while I bought groceries at the store for daily sustenance, or with some kids at the orphanage which ceased after I moved out to an apartment when I turned 18.
You could say I am an 'introvert' and I keep to myself.
If this world does not deviate from the source material of the anime and games, then you could say that I almost know about most of the important people present here. Still, in this world where I don't know a single person personally, it would take a lot of effort for an introvert like me to get to interact with them.
Then, on top of it, a Harem? Never in my life have I interacted with a woman with the intention of dating and didn't even have a crush to speak of.
Ohh, and don't include the one with the blonde, that is an exception that in the end led me here.
*Sigh*
This could become either a very bad experience or I could have the time of my life. I am now 16 years old here, with an exciting life ahead of me. I should try to make an effort to break out of the shell of my old self, even if it takes some time.
Okay. Excluding the Harem system, there's a separate Pokédex system integrated within. That's cool. There might be some cool hidden achievements I can gain when I capture a certain number of Pokémon or even complete it. Hehe.

I think I have checked almost every system-related function that I can currently know of.

I have now reached the outskirts of the town. I could see some buildings here and there. The iconic windmill of Prof. Oak's lab could be seen here.
On the way, I saw several Rattatas scurrying about and some Pidgeys flying in a flock of 3 - 4. Other than that walk in itself was peaceful. Ahh, how long has it been since I have enjoyed just strolling through some woods? Hmm.. Never.

At that moment, I just realised that I forgot that I don't even have a clue how I would go about introducing myself to others in Pallet Town.
Hmm..
Even though it wasn't a solid plan, I had a spark of an idea.
I slowly approached the nearest store that I saw. The signboard outside read, 'WPOK Store - The only place to get all your essentials plus more'.

Really? *Sigh*
Shaking my head I entered the store.

"Ahm, Ahm. Testing, Testing. Is this thing even registering my voice?"
There was an old lady at the counter who was playing with a mic which was connected to some boxes and a computer.
A blue screen sprung up immediately identifying her.

She yet has to notice me entering the store.
I tried to get her attention.
"Helloo? Can you help me?", I called out.
"Oh, kiddo, didn't see ya there buddy, keke. I was working on something. What d'ya want kid? Wanna hear something juicy about our good ol' Oak?", she said snickering.
Acting like an innocent kid I replied, "Umm, Obaa-san (A/N: Grandmother), where is this place?"
She got angry and stood up and said, "What did you just call me br- Wait, what did you just ask? What did you mean by where this place is?"
"Umm, umm, like, where am I? Which town is this? Why am I here? How did I get here? Who are my parents? What happened to me? Why don't I remember anything?", I launched a barrage of questions back at her.
"Woah, woah, hold them questions back a little bit kiddo. Oh ya, poor kiddo! I think ya have got amnesia. Ohh, what could ever have happened to ya? Well, you don't hav'ta worry about anything. Lemme take care of ya. My name is Masae. What about yours? Do you remember yer name?", she caringly asked.
"Thank you Obaa-san! I remember my name. It's Alex Riziero. And I am 16 years old.", I immediately replied.
"Hum hum (coughing sounds), hey kiddo, just call me Masae-san. And do you remember anything else?", she inquired.
"That's about all the things that I remember about myself. Ohh, and I had this phone which had an app called 'Trainer's ID' in it too.", I "fake" smiled and said. I also handed over my phone to inspect at her request.
"It seems like you came here to meet the good ol' Oaky for your Trainer's License to get registered and get your starter Pokémon. The Trainer's License for this year just started today. Still, you are a year older to get your license, which is uncommon around these parts. Usually, kids around the age of 15 get their License registered and start their journey almost immediately."
"Ohh... so if I start late will there be any problem with it?", I asked her.
"I don't know about that kiddo, that is something you gotta ask the ol' Professor himself."
So I asked her to fulfil my part of acting amnesiac even though I knew where to go to meet the Professor, "Okay, so where should I go to get to meet him Masae-san?"
"It is very easy, you just have to go to the building that looks like a windmill. It is easy to spot. since it is the tallest building in this town. That windmill-like building is the Professor's laboratory where he does his Pokémon Research.", she answered my question.
"Thank you so much, Masae-san. Then I will go to Prof. Oak right away to get myself registered. See ya later then.", I said.
"Wait kiddo, did'ja hav' any lunch yet?", she asked.
"No.", I replied.
"Then let's fill ya up with lunch before ya take off on your journey.", she said smiling.
"Thanks, Masae-san!!", I replied with a beaming smile. And this became double-profit, I said internally. Hehe.

During lunch, I found out that along with the store Masae-san also worked as the RJ for the WPOK Radiostation with the base as her store. (It was a local station where she gossips about different people, ESPECIALLY about Prof. Oak.)
Once I had my fill, I thanked her again and said my goodbyes to Masae-san, and started heading towards Professor Oak's lab.
