He Missed Everly

Maverick felt that it was troublesome.

There were too many problems waiting for him to solve. If his mother and Parrish had any conflicts, then it would be even more difficult for him to be with Everly.

"Yes." Kailey looked at Maverick and asked, "You have been together with Everly. Then you must have seen her family, right?"

Maverick said, "Yes."

"What is her father's attitude towards you?"

Maverick frowned slightly, but he had to tell the truth, "It's normal. Mom, is there any past?"

Kailey seemed to sneer. All these years, she had been controlling her emotions very well because of her body. However, Maverick noticed that she was cynical about that. Therefore, Maverick could be sure that there was some conflict between Kailey and Parrish.

He knew that his mother was not a narrow-minded person. If she was still brooding over it after so many years, it would not be a small matter.

Maverick felt even more helpless. It seemed that Kailey was not willing to say more.
