41 Super Epic Showdown part 1

Most of you hate the last chapter. It's understandable. But that was the plan from the start. If there is something I can assure you is that there are NO nerfs, NO plot armor, NO story dragging. Just the Mc Overcoming an unbeatable foe with his wits and power. Don't blast this volume when you haven't given it a chance. There are a lot of things in play under the surface. Who said this was going to be easy for him?

If you still say I ruined it, then give me a valid reason without the excuse of saying you've seen it before in other books. I'm Saintbarbido not other authors.

(Brian's P.O.V)

My anger and indignation knew no bounds. Asuma had made me feel weak in a way I had never thought possible. My solution, get it all out by beating up bad guys. I couldn't concentrate fully with the maelstrom of emotions going on inside me, so I needed to blow off some steam.

The fact that it would also help me determine how strong I now was, was just an added bonus.

To that end, I jumped from Nick's bar to the Invincible world. Specifically, right before Nolan went all murder hobo and killed the guardians of the globe. I appeared mid air overlooking a city. I turned to my right and came face to face with the manliest supervillain/hero of the Invincible world, Nolan Grayson otherwise known as Omni-Man. 

"Who are you?"

He asked on guard. I smiled, looking forward to what would happen next.

"Noone. Hey, I was wondering, what would you do if I told the world who you really are and what you came here to do?"

The look on Omniman's face changed and a fist slammed on to my face. Almost. A layered ki appeared before me and I chuckled at his surprised look.

"All in due time my man."

He was close enough now for what I intended to do. My fingers touched his gloved hand and we jumped.

We instantly appeared in an abandoned world. It was a planet whose natives, Frieza had commissioned to be killed and the rest to be made into slaves. This was due to the refreshing natural scent they gave off. The scent contained hallucinogenic properties that made other aliens get high. 

The planet was empty because Frieza had yet to find a buyer. The atmosphere was noxious to most other aliens except the residents. It was perfect. Nolan and I appeared around purple clouds. The noxious gases were not strong enough to affect the both of us but I saw him bring a hand to his mouth quickly. Pays to be vigilant I guess.

He didn't talk but I could see the promise of pain in his gaze. I looked un-bothered as I told him,

"Stay put old man, I gotta go get the rest."

So anyone from the marvel universe was out because of the whole Dormammu thing. Everywhere else was fair game however. 

Next, I appeared right between All for One and Best Jeanist. The latter had him tied up in threads due to his quirk but I knew what was about to happen. I entered his mind and froze him in place just as streaks of red and black energy started flashing.

I looked at Best Jeanist who had his eyes wide open and waved.

"I'll bring him back in a second."

I jumped to the same planet I had left Omni-Man at,  and saw him flying towards me like a jet. we were on the ground and he was bearing down at me with the force of a train. His right hand was cocked back ready to smash me into mince meat. My right hand went wide with All for One grasped tightly in it, immobile then my left one opened and a palm came up to grasp Omni-Man's fist.

A resounding sound akin to thunder exploded out and the clouds above us were pushed away. 

"Couldn't you have been patient for a little while longer?" I asked while squeezing his fist. Omniman went down on one knee as he gritted his teeth. "Now I'll have to put you on time out."

I neck chopped him in speeds his brain couldn't fathom and he went slack and fell on the ground. I deposited All for One next to him and jumped out again. 

This time, I appeared in Man Of Steel. I looked around Metropolis and saw devastation. Loud booms sounded and a body flew past me to impact a skyscraper. His opponent flew towards me but was surprised when I appeared before him. 

"Hello Superman. You don't know me but I wanted to do you a favor."

Clark watched me warily while breathing.

"Move. My fight is with Zod. As long as the rest of you leave the earth and promise not to come back, I will not fight you."

"Oh, I'm not a Kryptonian. Yeah, you guys killed them all which is why Zod is so livid."

Reminding him of their deaths didn't win me any brownie points.

"My deal is this. Let me take Zod away for a while. He and I will have a…proper talk and if…I mean when he comes back he'll be…calmer."

Zod interrupted us before Superman could answer.

"Is that all you got Kalel?"

"Whoops, looks like that decision has been made for you."

A construction beam speared through the air aimed at us. 

My eyes glowed and a ki beam shot off, melting the metal into a molten slag of metal. I increased the output to avoid the liquid from hitting the ground. The whole thing disappeared. 

"What the."

Zod begun but my hand had already covered his face and Jumped out of that world. 

My momentum continued as Zod screamed and released heat beams that did nothing to my hand. I slammed him onto a mountain and buried him there.

"Let's wait for the others. Okay? Okay."

"I will…#-&#&-+!"

I buried him a bit deeper, muffling his voice. 

There was a beam of red light that manifested into being a ways off from our position. The beam flashed a second time, then a third up to ten times. I smiled. 'Yes. All for One paired with Omniman was an awesome idea. With All for One's buffing quirks, Omniman will be much much stronger. Just enough for me to see the limits of my new strength.'

Two figures grew larger in my vision and landed on the ground below us, sending trees, rocks and other vegetation flying away. I pulled Zod out of his rock prison and threw him towards his teammates. He stabilized his fall and then came flying back at me. A ki blast sent him on his way.

I had used my Wishing bead to craft the Valiant costume anew with a few added perks. For one, I could equip it from my inventory. Secondly, it was as durable as… honestly I had no idea. I just wished for it to be extremely durable. Lastly it was self cleaning and self repairing.

Unfortunately, I had had to make it into a one piece, so I ended up looking a lot like a black Nightwing. Not a bad look though. Just sucks that I can't be bothered to be original. I spread out my hands as my clothes were replaced by the costume.

"Welcome, one and all to the Super Epic Showdown. I won't lie to you...this is a bullying tactic. I won't give you the reasons as to why I'm doing this but the good thing is that I don't have to. You're all bad guys, so the fact that I promise to let you go, after I've vented is good enough. Except for you Zod. I like Metropolis, you turned it into Gotham, so fuck you for that."

I told them, releasing the mental hold I had on them to not interrupt me while I was talking.

"I shall not be made a mockery of by a child. Do you have any idea as to who I am?"

All for One started and I sighed. No stopping them now. Here comes the threats of death, blah blah blah. No, you know what? I don't have the patience for that. I need to hit something. Ready or not here I come!

My fist found purchase on Omniman's face at speeds that left the other two watching my previous position.

"Sup."

"By Rao!"

Zod cursed out and jumped back. I stepped forward and flicked his forehead. I kept it very very light. He broke past the atmosphere of the planet. Good. Let him charge a little. Luckily for him there's a yellow sun in this solar system.

All for One made to touch my hand and I let him. He started straining, probably to steal my quirk. I cocked my head to the side and wondered what I was going to do with him. If I hit him, I might turn him into a red mist.

"I don't have a quirk stupid."

He let go of my hand and streaks of red lightning ran through his body.

"Enhancement ×10, Muscle Reinforcement ×6, Energy Projection, Bone hardening, Swift grace, Quick reflexes..."

My hand rose up and a very weak ball of ki slammed onto him.

"Stay down. You're not proving as fun as the rest. I should probably have replaced You with Injustice Superman or even Doomsday. Hell, at least Katakuri could have seen the future and reacted accordingly."

I grumbled as I walked off, leaving him gasping in the groove he had created with his body.

"Damn you Human!"

Omniman shouted from a long long way off. He made it past over 300 miles in a second, which reminded me why I had brought All for One. The enhancements he'd given to Omniman seemed to still be in effect. Omniman was drenched in seawater and I laughed. My punch had thrown him off into the ocean. The ocean was over 5000 miles away!

We met in mid air with a blast of shockwaves as our fists impacted each other. Our hands and legs lashed out in supersonic speeds, the impact of our blows sent the lush greenery below us away. Leaving behind a crater that only grew bigger and bigger from our unrestrained fight. His costume tore in places and blood poured from a cut on his head as the fight went on.

In one instance, Omniman shouted at the top of his voice and threw a kick. I blocked it with a knee and retaliated with a kidney punch that made him bend in pain. My hand came up and the elbow fell down onto his back.

He flew down to the ground uncontrollably but arrested his momentum at the last minute. His eyes turned to stare at me in rage and he shot upwards, both his fists Infront of him. I flew down to meet him but before we collided, my eyes glowed and heat beams hit him, sending him deep into the earth.

I didn't stop and plunged into the earth after him. I slammed my fists onto his body and his mouth spit out blood. I pushed him farther down. Deeper and deeper till the air thinned. We slammed into an underground ocean and he maneuvered to escape the hold on him. Nolan slammed up and out through the earth and I followed after him.

We broke through the earth and continued going up. The clouds passed by us as I chased after Nolan.

"Where the fuck do you think you're going man? We're not nearly done."

At the beginning, his eyes had burned with arrogance and determination not to lose but now? Nolan Grayson looked afraid. He tried to hide it but as I surpassed his speed to hover above him, his eyes showed his wariness. For a second, I felt like Asuma. This had somehow changed from me wanting to vent to dominating them.

I sighed. Maybe we need a timeout. I also had something to tell him. If not for his sake then the sake of all the people who lose their lives due to his future actions.

"You know...Nolan. He's never going to hate you. No matter what you do, both of them will always love you." His face showed surprise as I talked.

"They would go to any lengths for you. Ask yourself if the Viltrum empire would do the same. Mark is going to be a great hero. Better than you. Better than anyone really. If I were you, raising someone like that would be enough. Your pride, trust and loyalty is misplaced in the Viltrum empire. You have something most live without finding in their lifetime. Think about that, Omniman."

I finished and turned around to stare at the flaming man coming down on top of our heads. I whistled in appreciation. The energy levels coming off Zod were incredible. Once he got nearer however, I frowned in surprise.

"Zod you fool... don't tell me you bathed in the sun?"

I muttered to myself. 

This is bad. Not for me though. I readied myself.
