1 Chapter 1: Playing The Card...

Tears were rolling down Naira's eyes. Even though her lip was locked with someone, she felt nothing in it. Her body was completely numb. She was feeling breathless, but how would a person, who loved her for a bet, understand her?

He pulled her closer, showing his passion, showing his love, but is this what is love?

A few months ago, Naira got selected for her dream University. Though it was her last year, she was excited about it. She was always studious and had worked hard for this day to come.

She stood with her luggage in front of the school. Her long black hair kept obstructing her view, but she rather put her all attention on the school.

Naira was pretty. Especially her long hair, made all the boys in her school go crazy. But she never paid attention to them. Just like her hair, she ignored all of them and worked for her dream. Naira wanted to be a businesswoman. She wanted to be like her mother and support her. Her only goal was to do better in curriculums and get the best grades. 

That's the reason she was the only ever single in her school, and now in her current university; she little cared about that.

On the first day, all eyes were on her. Among all of them, a pair of green eyes were glued to her. It was Hector, the leader of the No.1 Popular guy in the university. He was rich and handsome and had many girls already. He was from a powerful family and had great powers in a school. He was also a candidate for the Captainship in the school basketball team.

"Boss, she is your type, but you better forget her." Said Hector's minion

"Why?" He asked

"Because she will be mine." Came a voice from behind. It was Hector's No.1 rival, Richard.

"If I like something or someone, I make it mine." Said, Hector proudly

"Let's make a bet. If you get her in 30 days, then I won't chase her. Also, I would drop out of the basketball team captain. But if you lose... (with a smirk) you have to be my slave for the rest of the year and also drop out of the team. And I will be free to get that pretty girl on my side...."

"Challenge accepted!" Said the determined Hector

"But boss, she is really tough to get. She rejects all. How would you change her mind?" Hector's minion asked him after Richard left

"For getting a good girl like her, I'll have to play my card." Said Hector with a smirk
