1 Chap.1 Rob's apology

(I hope you have read the previous part before starting here. PD: ¡The MC is a male!)

-Where I am? I remember I was at home, watching a marathon of my favorite movies, and suddenly, I heard a loud noise before everything went dark.

But looking at their surroundings, there was no trace of the supposed darkness. It was a square room so perfectly white, it didn't look natural at all. As he tried to get his bearings and understand what was happening, a white flame erupted in the middle of the room and a white silhouette with a human shape but without any features emerged from it.

-Hi, Tony. I am…

"Groot?"

The room was silent for a few moments at the abrupt interruption, before it began to tremble from the white figure's laughter.

"That was bad, very bad, but I have a soft spot for that kind of humor," said the figure, wiping away a fake tear. "Anyway, let's start over." I am Rob.

"Oh, holy shit!" Tony yelled. "Are you Rob?" So am I dead? —Then he realized something was wrong— Wait a second, I didn't die for a truck, I shouldn't know you.

"In answer to your first question, yes, you are dead. And I must apologize, but yes, you also died by a truck.

-What are you talking about?

—The thing is long to explain, so I will try to give you a summary. I bet someone that you would get through the weekend safely, while the other party bet that they could take you out using a truck.

"Did you use my life on a bet?"

"I don't usually bet with this kind of thing, it seems disrespectful to little creatures like you," he added. "But this time, the bet seemed like a sure thing." You live on the top floor of a twenty-four-story block, the elevator broke down due to poor maintenance, the doorbell stopped working, you had a pantry full of food, you didn't need any daily supplies like toilet paper, they were marathoning your movies and favorite series, your phone ran out of battery and the list goes on. In other words, there wasn't a single reason for you to go out and you should have had a very peaceful weekend.

"How did I die then?" Tony asked blankly. "How the hell did a truck kill me twenty-four stories up?!"

"He fell on you."

"...I repeat, how is that possible?"

"Okay, maybe my answer was too concise," Rob admitted. "I didn't think there was a way for it to happen either, but I didn't expect the other party to be so creative." He used a cargo plane to transport some vehicles and just as he was passing close to your house, the compartment "accidentally" opened and a truck plummeted towards you with amazing precision.

"You've got to be kidding me," Tony's jaw dropped at the revelation.

"I was mad too when I found out," Rob said. "Isn't that cheating?"

-Really? Tony gave Rob a blank look. "Are you more concerned that I cheated than my life?"

"Well, if I didn't do that, you'd technically still be alive…" Rob looked away in embarrassment.

"Let's leave that aside," Tony sighed tiredly, "what will happen to me now?"

"Right, I almost forgot," Rob facepalmed, "Even though I lost the bet, I feel bad about what happened to you, so after talking it over with some friends, I'll do something I know you humans love." I will send you to another world with advantages!

-Really? Tony's eyes lit up at the prospect of being an OP transmigrator. "Can I choose the world?" Or what advantages will I have?

"Of course…no," Rob replied. "Don't look at me like that!" After your death I have reviewed your life many times and I know that many times you have dreamed of this. And in all of them, your advantages are not revealed until you reach the other world, so be patient. I'm pretty sure you'll be happy with what you get.

"Just like you were so sure I wouldn't die?" Tony asked suspiciously.

-Ahem! Wow, look how late it's gotten! Rob exclaimed as he looked at one of the blank walls and an analog clock appeared out of nowhere. "I think I should send you on your way already, good luck Tony!" He stomped on the ground and a circular opening appeared below Tony, causing him to fall into the void as he screamed.

…Somewhere in another world…

A young man, who was lying on the grass in a field, begins to stir as he regains consciousness and opens his eyes. He jumped to his feet and looked around warily.

"Even if he wanted to surprise me with the advantages, he should have at least told me which world he sent me to." Seeing that there was no one around, he relaxed a bit and began to examine himself. "It seems that my body is very similar to when I was younger —he lifted his pants a little and looked down— Not bad, I know what the first advantage was —he nodded satisfied— Now, how should I try to find out my powers?

[Ding! The host has received a rookie package from Rob. Do you want to open it?]

—OMG! Do I have a System? -But before the emotion went to his head, he took a deep breath and tried to calm down- Let's not jump to conclusions, let's see what this package is first. System, open it!

[Ding! The host has obtained a mysterious Devil Fruit (no weaknesses).]

"A devil fruit?" And no weaknesses?! —Tony's eyes widened—Am I in One Piece? No wait. Many times the Systems give things from other worlds, it does not mean that you are really in that world. System, what model of fruit is it?

[Ding! The host has received a note from Rob. Do you want to open it?]

"Perhaps he realized that he forgot to tell me something?" Let's see the note.

[Hi, Tony! Knowing you, you will surely ask what the devil fruit is before deciding whether or not to eat it. But where would the fun be then? I remind you that the fruit no longer has any weaknesses, so show a little courage! By the way, the System won't activate if you don't eat the fruit, but hey, it's still your choice~]

A vein bulged on Tony's forehead after reading the note, but on second thought, he was right. The fruit had no weaknesses, so as long as it wasn't a bad power, he could always choose to use them or not later.

"System, give me the fruit.

In front of Tony, a translucent shadow of a strange fruit materialized and gradually gained consistency until it became real. He looked at it curiously, because sometimes the appearance of the fruit gives clues to the kind of power it contains, but he failed to recognize it.He psyched himself up for a few moments before working up the courage to bite into it and swallow.

-¿Oh?
