Gamers. Gamers! Gamers? Part 2

Location: Sine's Desk

Time: 2pm

Pov: Sine

I went to my desk. Since I wanted to swap to my PC to play with may.

"Hold up may I'm going to swap to my PC wait up a bit."

I start the download on Heavens Chosen on my PC and while I wait for it to install I continue talking with may.

"The game sure is fun. I decided to install it to my PC too."

May then replies to me. In a impatient tone.

"Is it really a good idea to play rated in a different platform? Why not just continue playing on your phone?"

May does raise some good questions, which I already had a answer formulated.

"My phone will probably be too laggy while we play 2v2. Its an old model so I doubt I can play for long periods without overheating or something. But my PC is just new, so it's going to last longer if we decide to grind until evening."

May then replied with a hmhmhm, to agree to my logic.

"And how about familiarity? Are you more of a mobile gamer or a PC gamer?"

I then, without a moment of hesitation answered.

"I mostly play on PC. So I prefer playing Heavens Chosen on PC moving forward, without a doubt."

Truthfully it really was just that simple. I'm more used to PC and my PC has better specs

"I see I see, respectable choice."

I then look at my PC screen. The download already done. And I inform May.

"The download is complete May. I'll just log in my account, go make the lobby and wait for me."

May then just makes the lobby, waiting for Sine to complete his login.

After logging in. I accept May's invite into the rated 2v2 lobby, and we queue and i wait.

"Sayyy I'll just use " ninja" for now so we can have a similar profeciency when we play"

I agreed with her decision and i picked "robot" seeing as i already played this character for a total of one hour, i'll stick with it.

We get matched then we picked our characters and play

"Ok Sine. Lets try to do a divide and conquer strategy, i'll go for player 2"

I said an ok as a reply and i close in my chosen oponent.

My opponent is a elven female with a sword, and i went to trade hits with her. Both of us going on the offensive

As i play though i stay silent, focusing on my fight while i try to listen to what May might say.

"Sine let's swap. I'll hit player 1 with my ultimate."

I then back away while May charges her ultimate.

"Mirage Blades-"

May's character then dashes a long distance slicing on the way with huge knockback.

Causing the female elf to fall of the map.

"Well then Sine. Is your ultimate almost up?"

May then comes back to her opponent, now fighting two against one.

"Yeah just a few hits. And i'll have it, i have plan"

I then tell her about the plan.

"Ok so go in there first. And just try to bait out Player 2's ultimate"

May then sends a thumbs up emote ingame and goes in her opponent.

I jump behind the other female elf with a sword, then hit her while she is distracted with May charging up her ultimate

"Oops, ah shit Sine. Your on your own"

May then falls of the map, losing her fight against player 2.

"I guess its my turn now."

As i said that, the female elf then charged her ultimate on me and high speed.

I then had an epiphany, i still need a bit more energy to charge my ultimate. If i dodge i wont be able to get the energy, so there was only one action i could do.

"Ok lets do it"

I dont move out the way. intsead i remember that May did during our fight.

"Come at me."

I taunted, then as the ultimate was about to hit me i clicked my mouse 4 side button, for blocking and parried her ultimate.

While the knockback i took was halved, i then went in with a dash to close in, and i used my ultimate to finish the on her.

"Bolt beam."

My robot character then said as i activated my ultimate. I zigzagged in the air and i fly to the female elf's back and hit her into the void. Securing the victory for May.

"Victory"

The gane announced, i then had a smug smile on me, having fun and was proud i won us the game.

"THAT WAS AMAZING!"

May then explained.

"That parry decision was so extra. But to so cool nontheless, and the ultimate activation timing was to nice."

May continued complimenting my play. And i just thank her for the compliments.

" Anyways May. Just do a few more rounds until we get the next rank?"

May then made another lobby and invited me, and i accepted it

" Yeah sure. Lets go and get to Silver!"

Time Skip: 4 hours

" Phew, we made it finally"

May and i got to silver four hours in, losing a whopping 5 times out of the 20 games we played.

"Dang Sine, you're really good at this. Lets just continue again next time. I'm so exhausted.."

May mostly carried me to be honest. But seeing as she is already tired i just let her be and she logged off.

"Hey May, do you have plans for tomorrow?"

I then asked her again, the same question i asked this day.

"Uhm nope."

She then sighs with sadness, and this is the point i forgot this girl is quite lonely. And i'm probably her only friend as of now.

"Let's go on a date tommorow, then?"

I then asked, nonchalantly asking her out on a date, out of the blue

"Ehh, WHAT."

May then screams out at me, surprised at my sudden invitation.

"Uuu-uuhm.. tommorow is fine i guess, its not like i want to go on a date or anything.."

And what is this.. May turned into a tsundere all of a sudden.

"Sweet. Let's discuss the details later i wanna go and do solo rank right now."

I then queue up for solo rated.

"And also, goodbye my dear, i'll see you soon"

May then flustered, was going to reprimand me for saying "dear"

"Wha- what do you mean dea-"

Boop, i hang up on her. Wearing a sly grin on my face, as i thought to myself how cute May is.

"She is such a flirt, but not so good at taking it.."

I then sigh, my trademark gesture being missed. I then picked my character, robot. And started playing more.

Well then, lets start grind part 2...

Sine status: 5%

Yo author here. This is probably the most unfun chapter i have written so far. But the next chap is going to be focused on the romance aspect, thats going to be quite fun to do.

And yeah uhh 1k words per chapter will be the minimum now. Sadly i dont have enough creativity to make 2k word chapters every other day.
