Marian's POV

"Okay ka lang?" Tanong niya sa akin.

I nodded at him. "Yes." Sabay ngiti ko sa kaniya.

Ngumiti lang siya sa akin pagkatapos tinuon niya 'yung tingin niya sa daan. Papa-uwi na kasi kami and we both quiet. Nor of us wants to start the conversation. I heaved a sigh and think about Stephen. I remember my lost brother on him. How I wish that kuya is here, caressing me, secure me and love me. How I wish talaga.

Tumingin ako sa labas ng bintana and I saw my father's profile. Dad fooled a lot of people to vote him but little didn't know dad is a miscreant and a heartless person. Even you begged him to spare your life he will never do that. As I knew his secrets, I feel guilty about it. They are too innocent to be murdered. Sparing their life wasn't dad's want to do beacuse in bahalf of him sparing their life is a fool decision that he'd made in his entire life. He doesn't want anyone to know his secrets anymore.

"Marian." He called me.

Lumingon naman ako sa kaniya. "Mm?" I replied.

"Kanina pa kita tinatawag pero parang 'di mo ako naririnig. Ano bang iniisip mo?" He asked eagerly.

I shook my head. "Nothing." I retorted.

Tumango naman siya. "Okay." Aniya sabay balik ng tingin sa daan.

I remember the last word he say lately.

"Stop crying. I'm just here for you. I won't leave you."

And...he kissed me in my forehead. I got astounded at that time like my feet got froze and my heart beats fast. Why I feel like when he is neared at me my heart beats fast. Gusto ko na kaya siya? But...how can I be so sure na 'di siya kagaya ni Jeorge na...manloloko. I'm torn. I don't know what to do! I feel confused about him. I feel something about him but I can't say it to him.

Napansin kong huminto kami sa isang fast food chain na paborito niya. He unfastened his seatbelt then he look at me.

"Marian." Tawag niya sa akin.

Pagkalingon ko nagulat ako dahil muntikan nang maglapat ang mga labi namin and it's kinda inch apart between us. My heart beats fast again and I feel like the time is getting to slow and we only just highlighted by a spotlight. I saw him clenched. Pati pag galaw ng panga niya napaka bagal. I just blinked my eyes and I was astonished when I saw his eyebrows creased in confusion. Natauhan naman ako.

"What are you doing?" Malamig niyang tanong.

I gave him a glanced. "Nothing." Sabay unfasten ko sa seatbelt.

Pagka tapos kung tanggalin ang seatbelt. My eyes went on him and I saw him staring at me. My brows arc in turmoil.

"Hindi pa ba tayo bababa?" I asked seriously.

I saw him awakened and he snoot 'cause of shame. "Sorry." Tipid niyang sabi.

"Dali na! Baba na tayo." I urged him.

Tumango naman siya.

Nauna akong bumaba sumunod naman siya. I was aghast when he held my arm. My look went on him. And still confused about his actions. He really make me torn.

"Let's go?" Aniya sabay ngiti.

His genuine smile and his erotic brown eyes that makes me feel flattered. He's really mysterious! Even his eyes, I can't read it. He really stand the way he is.

I nodded at him then afterwards we entered inside on the fast food chain. Nothing's new about this fast food chain, they're still on top. No wonder kung bakit maraming kumakain dito.

"You wait here, okay? O-order lang muna ako." He said.

Tumango lang ako. "Sige." Tipid kong sagot.

He sprinted to the counter lane to order our foods. As I scrolling up my phone someone grabbed it and I was surprised when I saw him wearing a black hoodie and a black cap. He's still really good looking but even if he may be look good. I cannot forget what he did to me.

"Jeorge? Anong ginagawa mo dito? Are you following us?" I asked instantly.

He just stooped his head at me. "No! I'm just...want to saw you again and I'm just too lucky of this moment, because I had a chance to go near you without any hurdle." He said while staring at me.

"Ano bang pinunta mo dito Jeorge?" Walang gana kong tanong.

He hold my hand. "I'm just...here for you. I just want to saw your existence. That's all." He explained.

Magsasalita pa sana siya nang may biglang naglagay ng tray sa mesa at sabay kuha sa kuwelyo niya. It was him, Bryce.

"What are you doing here, ha? Ruining our date? Ganun ka na ba ka despirado Jeorge? Even our date you want to ruined it." Bryce exclaimed.

He gets Bryce hand sabay tabig nito. "I'm just here for Marian not for you." Jeorge retorted in dissatisfaction.

Bryce faced him in animosity. "So, you're just here because of her? How pathetic! Alam mo namang kasama ko siya 'di ba? How could you ruined our date! Wala ka bang magawa sa buhay, ha? You just want to ruin our lives kasi bored ka or maybe you just want Marian back, right? You know what? You're just too hypothetical of dreaming someone who will returns you back even if it's too impossible to happened anymore." Bryce voiced out.

Jeorge got striked of what Bryce had said. His eyes jutted and his mouth broadened. I saw the crowd gazed at us and some started whispering. I can't help but to stop them.

"Tumigil na nga kayo! Nakakahiya sa mga tao oh." I grumbled.

They both snooted. Hindi ko na alam kung ano ang sasabihin ko. I got clasped of an idea. I don't know what to say, I don't know how to stop their wars, I don't know how to slid this happening. They're both prideful. They even fight their dignity even one of them was wrong. Hindi ko na talaga alam!

"Kung 'di ka sana pumunta dito eh 'di sana walang fiend kaming kaharap ngayon. Eh pa'no dumating ka eh-" Jeorge cut him off.

"Fiend? Are you describing yourself, huh?" Tumawa siya ng nakakaloko.

"Or...maybe you're too much like that." Jeorge added.

Bryce sneered at him. "Wow! Are you sure I'm a fiend? Wa'g mo nga akong itulad sa 'yo na demonyo. You're too bad to describe." Bryce chuckled at him.

"Ako? Demonyo? Where? Did you see a horn?" Jeorge taunted him.

Bryce laughed loud. "Are you joking, ha? Even nor of us can't see your invisible horn but still you're a son of a bitch." Bryce exclaimed.

"Buti alam mo. I thought you're too numb to notice that." Jeorge retorted with a smile.

Sasagot pa sana si Bryce but I cut him off.

"TAMA NA! Please lang..." I can't control myself to shout at them.

They both stooped at me. Bryce gave a glanced at me as so with Jeorge.

"So, magtititigan lang tayo dito? Mag sorry kayo sa isa't isa." I commanded them.

They look at each other and said...

"NO WAY!" They both yelled at me.

Pinagtitinginan pa rin kami ng mga tao and some of them taking pictures. Ah! I don't want this opprobrium will brought to dad's company.

"Bakit ba ang tigas ng ulo niyo, ha? Saan ba kayo pinaglihi ng mga magulang niyo? Why can't you just acquit your wars? Ganun na ba ka laki ang galit niyo sa isa't isa ha? Even forgiveness hindi niyo magawa! Simpleng pagpapatawad lang ang bigat bigat na sa inyo." I grumbled.

"Sorry, Marian." Bryce rued at me.

"Say that to Jeorge not mine." Galit kong sabi.

Bumaling naman siya kang Jeorge. "Sorry...b-bro." He said in cold tone.

I raised an eyebrow. "Say that again. 'Yung sincere." I commanded him.

Bumaling siya ulit kay Jeorge. "Sorry." Aniya.

"Anong sasabihin mo?" Sabay taas ko ng kilay kay Jeorge.

"Sorry too, bro." He responded.

I sighed at them. "Magbabati rin naman pala kayo. May sasabihin ka pa Jeorge?" Malambing kong sabi.

He shook his head. "Wala na. I gotta go. Bye Marian." Aniya sabay alis.

Pagka-alis ni Jeorge umupo ako sabay baling sa kasama ko. "Why did you do that?" I asked eagerly.

"Because he's a gate-crasher. He even ravaged our moment here." He explained.

I just sighed at him in disgrace. "Kahit na. Sana 'di mo pa din pinatulan." I said.

"Sorry, nadala lang ako sa emosyon ko. I'm just too weaked to resist him." He replied.

"Kain na nga lang tayo. Wa'g na muna natin 'yan isipin, okay?" Pag-iiba niya.

"Okay." I replied.

Kumain kami ng inorder niya as usual. A pieces of chicken and peach mango pie. Sobrang gusto niyang kumain ng ganito. I wonder kung bakit nagustuhan ko siya eh. Siguro because of his genuine smile or nor yet because of his celestial features pero sa tingin ko dahil ito sa kabutihan niya sa akin. The way he treated me, he care for me, he love—No! Hindi ka niya mahal, okay? Don't assumed to much baka masaktan ka lang.

"Masarap ba?" Tanong niya sa akin ng naka ngiti.

I bobbed at him. "Yup, lalo na 'tong peach mango pie." I replied while showing the food I'm holding.

"Masarap talaga 'yan kasi comes with natural mango 'yan eh. They didn't add more liquid on it kaya malalasahan mo talaga na all natural 'yung sarap niya. The typical mango in the province we've eaten." Pagpapaliwanag niya.

I just nod. "Sa bagay, masarap naman talaga 'yung natural lang 'yung walang halong kemikal or whatsoever." I said.

He hold my had. "Marian." Tawag niya sa akin.

I inclined my head to him. "Mm?" I replied.

"I like you." Diretsahan niyang sabi.

I got flabbergasted but still I'm feigning that I didn't feel affection to him. How can I pretend that I'm not affected of it. Ang hirap kayang kiligin tapos kailangang 'di mapansin ito.
